A/N: Hi everyone, this is part experiment and part my fascination with the whole Irene/Joohyun concept. I have quite a few plots in mind with Irene and Joohyun being separate people and I decided to share a few. Also, most people really really like cliches, there’s nothing wrong with some cliche but it seems that cliche plots are the ones that get the most comments. So I am also writing this as an experiment to see how well this fic will do compared to some others of mine. In this fic Irene and Joohyun are two seperate people and not twins. They just have an uncanny resemblance. This is a teaser, and I have actually more than just this plot, but decided to start with this one and maybe I’ll share more of my ideas. Joohyun wanted to go home and forget all about today. She wanted to forget one Kang Seulgi and pretend she had never heard of the woman before. It’s going to be easier said than done because Kang Seulgi was an unforgettable person. She was charming, sweet, nice, and very easy on the eyes. The brunette sighed as even now she is thinking about Seulgi. She closes her bookstore and turns around when a limo pulls up.

“Who?” The brunette wonders.

The door opens and it’s the very woman she’s trying her best to forget about. Seulgi smiles uneasily as she looks at the bespectacled woman. Joohyun doesn’t look all that thrilled to see her, and the business woman doesn’t blame her at all. She knows if she were Joohyun she also wouldn’t be all that thrilled by her right now.

“Joohyun, can I have a moment of your time?”

“No, you may not, CEO-nim.”

Joohyun closes the shop and turns to walk away. She must keep going otherwise she will cave and talk to the beautiful monolid woman.

“Ouch,” Seulgi smiles and touches her chest. “I know you’re angry with me, but can I please just have…”

“No,” Joohyun says strongly, more strongly than she even intended. She doesn’t mean to sound so harsh. However, her feelings are hurt and she needs to go.

“I’m sorry,” Seulgi walks after her and gently takes her arm. Joohyun tries to ignore how nice her soft hands feel against her arm.

“Ms. Kang, I don’t want to talk to you.”

“Ah, again, you wound me. I was Seulgi just a little while ago, and now I’m not only CEO-nim, but Ms. Kang too. Joohyun, please will you let me explain.”

Joohyun yanks her arm away from the slightly taller dark-haired woman. She fears if she lets Seulgi explain then she will fall even more, and that’s the last thing she wants to do. Falling for one Kang Seulgi is dangerous.

“No, why don’t you go and talk to Irene.”

It’s the reason why she’s angry. Joohyun had seen Seulgi with Irene and they looked a little too close for comfort. Seulgi on the other hand is trying to explain that she really didn’t know at first that the woman she was speaking with was Irene. In fact, she had met both Joohyun and Irene at different times thinking they were in fact the same person. She has only just found out that Bae Joohyun is not Red Velvet’s leader Irene.

“I’m really sorry about what you saw. I didn’t know.”

“How could you not know? I’m nothing like Irene.”

“No, you’re both different, you’re right. But...give me a break here, Joohyun. You look both so similar and…”

“I don’t want to talk to you, Seulgi. Please leave me alone.”

“Wait…”

“Just go and be with Irene already. She must really like you, and I can’t compete with someone like her.”

“But, Joohyun….”

“Goodbye, Seulgi.”

All the businesswoman can do is stare after Joohyun who is heading faster to her own car. Seulgi has no idea how this all turned into such a huge mess, but here she is caught up in this mess with two very different women, both whom happen to share a face. Seulgi sighs and facepalms.

“How am I supposed to fix this?”
