Evaluations continue

"Ooh she has like... Jessi vibes."
"Aren't they too old for this?"
"Umm... that's Feista right? Aren't they too y for this competition?"

The camera pans to the Yuehua trainees' seats but it seemed to be empty.

"Hi I'm Ahn Chilhyun!" Back stage, the boy enthusiastically greeted the CNC trainees.
"I think he's gonna hyperventilate if she replies." Songyi(Yuehua) muttered to Dora(Yuehua).
The Yuehua girls then also exchanged greetings with the CNC trainees. After that, the room became silent.
"Thought you were a big fan?" Dora whispered to Chilhyun(Yuehua).
"Yeah I'm shy." Chilhyun replied, looking rather stiff.
"I'm going to expose you." as soon as Dora finished her sentence, Chilhyun positioned himself right in front of Dora with his hands togther in a begging motion and a mildly acting-cute expression. The moment Dora opened , a producer called for the CNC trainees to be on stage.
"You got lucky." Dora patted Chilhyun on his shoulder before he gave her a dirty look.

CNC

"Oh? Isn't that- " Loco exclaimed as the camera panned towards Alexis Oh and Lee Jinhee. "Cheetah are you seeing this?"
"Ahh Lex-O! I've heard of you but never actually seen you with your girl group. This is interesting." Cheetah said.
The camera pans to Lee Jinhee and she seems slightly disappointed.

Lee Jinhee (CNC) - "I'm Pinkie."

(Jace/ short hair - Lee Jinhee)

Lee Jinhee (CNC) - "I was in the same season of unpretty rapstar as Cheetah...sunbaenim?" 
A clip of Jinhee practicing is played in the background.
"Umm... I left Feista for a while after dad passed on which screwed up my mental health." Jinhee tried to speak nonchlantly but her tears couldn't lie. After calming down herself a little, she said, "I'm back stronger and I'm ready to fight alongside my sisters."

"Feista has been around since... 2012..." Taemin said, reading off a clipboard.
"Hmm alright, show us what 7 years of industry experience looks like." BoA gazed at the girls intently.

(White jacket - Lee Jinhee, Skull prints - Alexis Oh, Short hair - Oh Sena, Fish net stockings - Bae Miso, Leather jacket - Yang Aeri, Sweatpants - Nam Hyori)

There was a long discussing amongst the mentors and the CNC trainees seemed pretty nervous.
"Before I announce the evaluations I just want to remind all of you that even as you guys have had experience as idols, right here, you start from zero."
As BoA spoke, the camera filmed the facial expressions of Lee Baekhyun(Amuse Korea), Song Youmi(Individual) and Lee Hyunbin(Individual).

"Honestly, it was a difficult decision for all of us, but overall, none of you lived up to our expectations." BoA said in a disappointed tone.
"I feel that Alexis you're trying too hard to be fierce and strong." Cheetah added.
"Even as this is a very fierce song with a strong concept, you're not supposed to keep dancing like you're trying to swing off you're arms. Y'all need to have control. I know you guys are trying to prove yourself and being a debuted girl group it's even more stressful for all of you, but dancing is not venting your anger." Hyoyeon commented.

"A, none. B, none. C, Alexis Oh, Oh Sena, D, Lee Jinhee, Yang Aeri, Bae Miso. F, Nam Hyori." BoA read out their classes emotionlessly.

Alexis Oh (CNC) - "Well..." Alexis sighed deeply as one of her past viral rap clip played.

Alexis Oh (CNC) - "This is one of those clips that y'all put sad music over and I'm supposed to cry right?" Alexis chuckled and then looked straight into the camera while speaking in English, "Stay tuned. Feista is back in the game, be on your toes."

"ALEXIS OH HWAITING!" A manly cheer sounded from backstage lightened the entire mood and the entire broke into laughter.
"SHE'S MARRIED!" Hyori shouted back at the voice as another wave of laughter was heard, along with the shushing and embarassed expressions of the other CNC trainees.

"Yuehua trainees!" The producer called out and not a single trainee walked out.
"YUEH-"

Three girls walked out to the stage with a boy hiding behind them. A flashback of the previous scene was played. Ahn Chilhyun(Yuehua) was listening attentively to the CNC trainee's evaluation and immediately after all comments were given, the boy took a deep breath and shouted towards the stage door, "ALEXIS OH FIGHTING!" His fellow trainees had the greatest shock of their lives, followed by a second hand embarassment. As the producer called out for them, the Yuehua girls dragged Chilhyun out and he eventually followed quietly behind them.

Yuehua

"Ahn Chilhyun can you dance?" Taemin questioned.
"Nope!" was an instant reply from Chilhyun that surprised everyone and also gave most of the trainees a giant facepalm.

"Yuehua trainees, A, Baek Songyi. B, no one, C, no one. D, Kang Dora. F, Zhuang Tongtong and... Ahn Chilhyun let's see you dance during the next evaluation." BoA smiled lightly, looking at the fearful-looking Chilhyun. "Your rap honestly wasn't too bad though."

Ahn Chilhyun (Yuehua) - "..." Chilhyun frowned as he stared at the ground. "I didn't do great..." He scratched his head and then continued, "I'm sorry Alexis."
An edit of Alexis shaking her head follows.

Individual trainees

Kwon Jaelin (Individual) - "Hello, I am Kwon Jaelin... Some of you many know my brother, Kwon Seungjae... the instagram model...But I hope you'd view us as 2 individuals!"  Jaelin bit her lip and took a deep breath. A cut away showed Kwon Seungjae smiling and waving to Jaelin in the big hall.
"I've been a trainee for 8 years. Cube, Pledis, TS, WM to Happyface. I've jumped from company to company and here I am after 8 years, still a trainee." Jaelin starts to tear up a little and then end her interview saying, "give me a chance?"

(Yellow shorts - Kwon Jaelin, Pink skirt - Song Youmi, Green Skirt - Ryu Dajung, Purple skirt - Ju Eunsoo)

"Song Youmi was a member of EXIT?" Taeyeon asked, slightly surprised.
"Yes. I left because of health issues at that point and I was still pretty young so I went back to resume my studies."
"That's pretty impressive, you graduated from one of the most prestegious universities in the country." Taemin added while looking at her profile.

"Kwon Jaelin has 8 years of training experience and you jumped around in 5 companies." BoA read off Jaelin's profile.
"Yes."
"And you're still here, so I look forward to your performance." BoA smiled at Jaelin warmly and then announced their classes. "A, none. B, Kwon Jaelin. C, Song Youmi. D, Ryu Dajung. F, Ju Eunsoo."

Kim Daewook (FNC) - "8 years?! When I heard it I was like, y'all... I'm outta here in 8 months."

"Why are you here?" Taeyeon looked straight into the direction..."Hyunbin sshi?"

Lee Hyunbin (Individual) - "Not gonna lie, I didn't know she was asking me. Got chills when I looked up."

"It's my last chance. I'm growing old, I want to do music again and this is my dream." the ex-Teen Top member replied with determination, and as the screen zoomed out to the hall, some female trainees are seen, mildly losing their over oppa.

A re-cap of episode 1 is played.
"Wah...SM"
"They look like models"
"Where do they find all these visuals?"

"So where are the SM trainees?" Lee Seunggi questioned.
"They are up first for evaluations." BoA smiled as the air in the room changed. All the trainees we're filled with anticipation.

(Girls: Jacket/Jiwoo - Moon Jeongyeon, Skirt/Somin - Kim Heeyeon, Guys: Blonde highlights/B.M - Lee Sungjin, Brown hair/J.Seph - Jayden Moon Jaehoon )

"Umm this is a little disappointing especially coming from SM entertainment." Loco said while looking at BoA and seeming rather fearful.
"Especially the guys. They don’t have the SM quality." Cheetah said without holding back, "Lee Sungjin and Moon Jaehoon. How long have the both of you been in SM for?"
"8 years." "9 years." Sungjin and Jaehoon replied, respectively.

A discussion began on the panel, and the SM mentors, BoA in particular had serious and stressed face sxpressions. The trainees began chattering as well.

Sato Erika(Source Music) - "Shocking. I thought they did amazing."
Kwon Seungjae(Starship) - "Sometimes I just don't understand the mentors..."

"We expected a lot more from you guys." BoA said in a serious tone, making sure to make eye contact with all 4 of the trainees.

Kim Heeyeon(SM) - "Yeah she literally said that once every 2 companies."

Before BoA could continue, Heeyeon lifted her mic a spoke. 
"Please judge us equally! Even if we are from SM Entertainment, these boys were trained to be models and actors. Just because we are from SM, does not mean we should be judged differently. From previous seasons, I see some people getting higher placements just because they are more charismatic. So were our boys. Why do we deserve a different grading system just because our company organised this?"

A pin drop silence was heard throughout the entire hall.

"Kim Heeyeon sshi," Cheetah called out. "Bold girl, are you the leader?"
"Nope, I just felt that it was my responsibility to speak up as the eldest of the group."
BoA nodded gently and smiled. "As expected of righteous Kim Heeyeon. Just like your brother." Heeyeon's straight face began to flush.

Kim Heeyeon(SM) - "Ugh."

"Oh, BoA sshi knows her brother?" Cheetah asked across the panel.
"Yes, they are very alike and I believe many of you would know him as well." as BoA made the statement, fear dawned upon Heeyeon.
"Her brother is a celebrity?" Chen asked, genuinely oblivious to the secret.
"Heeyeon sshi would you like to reveal it yourself?" BoA threw the ball back to Heeyeon.

"Umm..." She takes a deep breath, "my brother... is my brother, and I am me. I hope everyone would just remember me as Kim Heeyeon. But I'm pretty sure my name already gave it away, yes." she scrambled through the sentence nervously. "You guessed it, Kim Heechul, that's my bro." 

'Wow's were heard throughout the hall and Heeyeon just stared at the ground. 

Moon Jaehoon(SM) - "I have absolutely no idea... why she tried so hard to hide it."

"A, Moon Jeongyeon, Kim Heeyeon. B, no one. C, no one. D, Lee Sungjin. F, Moon Jaehoon." straight after BoA announced the results, Heeyeon had a major face palm moment, as if her speech was completely useless. The boys looked completely pissed off.

As they were putting on their stickers, Sungjin while trying to seem fine said to Heeyeon, "Hey ya think SM sent me just because I'm deadass hot?"
Jaehoon rolled his eyes upon hearing Sungjin's statement.
"Dude come back to earth." Heeyeon replied, "to answer your question, no. And I get what you're trying to say, Lee Sungjin. You have real talent. You're not just looks. Besides, I'm better looking than you... and you." Heeyeon then gave the boys a pat on their shoulders.

Starship

Ahn Chilhyun(Yuehua) - "Never felt more single than I should."
Kim Bitna(MMO) - "They're so cute!"

"Kwon Seungjae, Choi Saedi, C."

Ahn Chilhyun(Yuehua) - "They're even in the same class?! Like-"

"In a cruel world like this, people like you and me... We are meant to be single for life." Kim Hyuksoo(Individual) shook his head in agony as he leaned his body weight on Park Jinseok(Individual).

"All evaluations are over, some of you may be happy while some of you may be upset about the classes you've been placed in."

Kim Heeyeon(SM) - "No , Sherlock."

"Either ways, this will not be the end. Just like the previous seasons, there will be a second evaluation. In a week's time, you guys are going on MCountdown to perform ."

Excited and bewildered expressions were seen throughout the hall.

Han Soobin(Pledis) - "I've been here for less than 24 hours and they're making me go for MCountdown in a week. ONE. WEEK."

"Your position on stage and distribution of the song will be determined by your grades, so if you're in F class, you would be in the position of backup dancers and you will not have the opportunity to sing. Re-evaluation will happen 3 days later and you'll be have vocal and dance classes within your levels. See y'all in 3 days." 

A CLASS

The practice room was serious and the boys and girls were deeply focused in their training and the atmosphere was tense. Heeyeon and Ayaka seemed to lack behind once in a while when they dance. There and then, Hyoyeon entered the A class practice room.
"Hello! Looks like you guys are very focused!" Hyoyeon glanced around the room and then watched them continue practicing, until one moment, "Stop stop!"
All the trainees had serious looks on their faces as sweat trickled down their foreheads.
"Umm... I think there's an issue here." Hyoyeon scratched her head and continued, "Are you all enjoying this? I've been to the other classes and this class has been the scariest thus far. Don't just come here and fight your own war alright? I'm sure all of you know that you all are talented in some form, help one another. Make friends."

Ji Sangwoo (Cre.Ker) - "Felt like a 3 small boys with all the noonas. Some of them were kinda scary."

Hyoyeon left the room and the trainees took some time to talk to one another.

"Jaelin noona and Heeyeon noona are the oldest here, followed by Jeongyeon noona and then Jumi noona, Songyi noona and Aya noona. I'm the oldest guy followed by Hyunwoo and then Minseok" Sangwoo(Cre.Ker) sorted out the age and honorifics to break the ice.
"Wah I feel kinda old here. Let's work hard together and debut together shall we?" Jaelin(Individual) smiled excitedly as she cheered on the other trainees.
 

B CLASS

From afar, the camera films the B class practice room and of all sudden, laughter can be heard, even metres away.

Kyubin(TVL) and Jinwoo(TVL) were posing in front of the cameras and spotting the different cameras in the room. Jinhyung(WM) was seen glaring at the pair. The pair noticed and exchanged eye-contact with Jinhyung. In a split second, the three broke out of character and Jinhyung ran over to the pair and played together with them.

Bang Jinhyung(WM) - "We play around almost a little too much. B class has a lot of fun."

"MAMA RIKA!" Soobin(Pledis) called out as Seol(RBW) layed on top of her. "Seol is bullying me again!"

Kim Seol(RBW) - "Erika Unnie is so cute but she's an actual mom? So somehow Soob and I willingly became her kids."

Meanwhile, a Chinese lesson went on amongst the boys. "Wo shi Kevin.(I am Kevin)" Kaize(RBW) said, waiting for Hyuksoo(Individual) to repeat. "Wo shi Kevin!" 
"Hyuksoo are you learning Chinese from Kaize hyung?" Taewoo(YGKPLUS) asked, surprised by how well the pair got along.

"Taewoo ah, say 'Wo shi sha gua'(I am a fool)" Kaize said with a straight face.
"Wo shi... come again?"
"Wo shi sha gua."
"Wo shi sha gua?" Naive Taewoo repeated Kaize's words as Kaize laughed alone.
"Both of you should say it to the camera!" Kaize suggested.
"What does that even mean?" Hyuksoo asked.
"It means 'I am confident'." The prankster smiled innocently.
The pair repeated towards the camera as Kaize let out a sinister laugh and the two are left clueless.
"Hyung made us say something weird." Taewoo squinted at Kaize and proceeded to playfully hit him.
"Can't believe he made both of you admit you guys are dumb for 5 minutes straight." Erika(Source Music) commented from a distance with her basic Chinese skills.
 

C CLASS

The practice room felt confined with the large number of trainees in one room. C class is the biggest class amongst all. Su Shan(Banana Culture), Liang Xuan(Fantagio) and Olivia Neo(Source Music) formed their little Chinese group and were all back in their comfort zone. Unlike B class, C class was a little more segregated. They were rather noisy at times, but they were all in little cliques and small groups.

"Let's get back to practice guys!" Alexis(CNC), the C class leader yelled as the trainees scrambled into their positions.
The trainees practiced for a while until Taeyeon and Chen entered the room. The trainees greeted the mentors and then they got to work immediately. The trainees were told to sing 'Just dance' together, which sounded a little like a middle school choir with some students forced to be there.
"Oooh C class has so many rappers." Chen sounded slightly concerned.
"Let's hear y'all row by row." Taeyeon said.
The trainees stood in rows of 5 and sung.
"Song Youmi, you have a good voice but you need to follow the beat. Don't drag your notes too much."
"Kim Sanghyuk you need to fix your pronounciation. Singing is not just about getting the notes right."
"Alexis Oh and Song Youmi should pair up. Alexis you catch rhythm very well, probably because you're a rapper, but when you sing, it just sounds emotionless."
The vocal mentors gave some advices and corrections and were very quick to spot any errors and areas of improvement for the C class trainees.
 

D CLASS

Yang Aeri(CNC) guides Bae Miso(CNC) through the steps over and over at a corner of the practice room. Minhee(Cube) constantly looked over to Lee Sungjin(SM) and So Jingyu(YGKPLUS) as they practiced in smaller groups.

Kim Minhee(Cube) - "Jingyu oppa and Sungjin oppa are so cute. They have my votes!"

"Kim Minhee! Kang Dora!" Hanna(YGKPLUS) dragged the 2 star strucked girls away to keep them focused. 
"Hanna yah, I still can't believe Hyunbin oppa is in the same practice room as I am." Dora(Yuehua) said, completely distracted.
"Dora you're supposed to help me!" Hanna sighed as the three of them continued to practice their dance steps while two were completely distracted.

F CLASS

The mood in F class is almost equally intense as A class. The boys and girls were eager to get out and trainees were breaking down.
