Step Up: Real Life
Description
Street dance battles. Gangs. School. Work. Family abandonment. Competitions...life as a street dancer can't get any more complicated, right?
WRONG.
Your parents abandoned you when you were young and you were found by a group of street dancers who saw you dancing along to some music that was playing on the streets. They saw you had much potential to be a street dancer, so they took you in and you lived with them ever since. They treat you like a sister, and in return, you treat them as family - family that you would never, ever want to lose.
Heart-stopping competitions, street dance battles, and dancing just for the fun of it was your favourite thing to do as a street dancer. There's nothing else you would want to do. But being a street dancer also has it's ugly side. Because you are a street dancer along with your group, called "O2," you come across gangs and rivals, making your life hell.
Jung ________ (you)'s life can NOT get any more pressurised as a street dancer until she meets the directors of the new show called "Real Life". The directors need someone with a harsh, yet somewhat average, life for the idol group to experience and appreciate, and you and your group are suddenly forced to make the experience of the idols unforgettable.
And who would this idol group be for the first season of the show, you may ask?
They are your favourite idol group, seven boys, called UKISS.
MAIN CHARACTERS:
You - Jung _________ (16): (sorry for the giant picture LOL)
You are one boyish babe with an attitude to people who don't know you or your story. You love to dance - simple as that. Street dancing has been your life, and you never want to let that go. You can be very firey and mother-like if nothing can be done right around your groups' home. On the other hand, you can be very sweet and caring when someone gets to know you; you do exceptionally well at school (despite your origins) and you are determined to graduate into Seoul Arts University.
UKISS:
They are the first ones on this variety show, and the first idols to ever experience the life of a street dancer. They are also your favourite group, but looks can be deceiving...can they?
MINOR CHARACTERS:
Your dance crew/family ("O2"):
Girls:
Lee SeoMin (28): leader
Jang EunHee (18): stunts
Jo GaYoung (24): b-girl/acrobatics/locker
Boys:
Kim JongMin (26): choreographer
Ahn MinHyuk (19): stunts
Lee DaeHyun (23): B-boy/popper/floor man
Choi ChangHyun (24): choreographer
Your best friends:
Lee Chi Hoon (17):
He is your favourite oppa of all time, you two have been friends since forever. Even though he is very handsome and popular with girls, he loves you and HyunRi, your other best friend, sister-wise very much, and you feel the same way - you and HyunRi are his one-and-only's. He can be very overprotective if he needs to be, and he is always there for you.
Park HyunRi (16):
She is your other best friend, and is also Chi Hoon's other one-and-only. Even though she has the complete opposite personality to you, the two of you have been friends since forever, just like Chi Hoon. But if needed, she can turn from a gentle maiden to a fire-breathing dragon.
RIVAL GANG/DANCE CREW:
"Vortex"
MORE CHARACTERS TO COME!!!

hey everyone, SHINee_Baby here with my 3rd fanfic ^_^
I hope you guys will like this story, because I've made up a pretty good plot for it XD
ANYWAYS, for future reference, I am TERIBBLY sorry for the horrible use of grammar in some cases, and sorry for the extremely long description!!
This story was somewhat inspired by the "Step Up" movies (I highly recommend them :D), but most of it are my own ideas.
I would like to sincerely thank JaeJoongLove at Tipsy Queen Poster Request Shop for the absolutely AWESOME poster!!! ^__________^
Remember, I DO NOT own any idol characters, I only own the plot and fictional characters.
I hope to see some of my old subscribers and some new ones for this fic ^_^
Foreword
If you think a street dancer's life is the best thing in the world, think again.
Yeah, there are some awesome points in it, but it's the harshest life ever, nonetheless.
And to put additional pressure on my life by getting idols involved?
Somebody shoot me.
But at least they know that real life isn't as pretty as they thought, right?
From that day onwards, idol life clashes head-on with street-dancer's life, and I really don't think it's going to work out.
Here we go.
Epic show: begin.
