“Pranpriya?” Lisa’s mom asked as she entered Lisa’s room.

“Hey Ma.” Lisa’s answered as her mom sat next to her in her balcony.

“Why are you out here sulking? Your cousins are looking for you.”

“I’m sorry, I just got a little overwhelmed.”

“I understand.”

“I’m sorry. I’m happy to be home, I missed you and Papa so much. But coming home, made me miss Korea too.” Lisa said frowning a little. She doesn’t know why she’s feeling like this. She should be happy to be home, she is happy to see her family.

“I’m sure it’s not really the country you miss, baby girl.”

Lisa smiled. “That’s true. I just, I feel like- I see all of you and I’m really happy but I also feel that ache in my heart. It’s like I’m missing a big part of myself.”
