Princess Myoui Mina is about to be crowned queen of Japan. Son Jeongyeon (Chaeyoung's father), an agent of the secret organization funded by Myoui's family that looks after endangered princesses, whisks her away to safety via helicopter.

Mina's parents hides Mina in Jeongyeon’s home in Korea, where she is to masquerade as a typical Korean teenager named Sharon Mina. She meets Jeongyeon's daughter, Son Chaeyoung, an insecure tomboy who works at the JYP Cafe in JYP University and dreams of going to the homecoming dance with her crush, Momo. Though Chaeyoung initially treats Mina with barely masked hostility, she warms up to her after Mina explains her situation, and the two become best friends. Chaeyoung teaches Mina to act like a typical Korean teenager, and Mina shows Chaeyoung how to disarm those that scorn them (especially resident mean girls Nayeon and Jihyo) by behaving as a true princess. Mina soon becomes popular at their high school.

These 2 get to now each other day by day. Mina secretly had fall for Chaeyoung's charm, beauty and her personality. While Chaeyoung seems feel like her heart beats faster everytime shes near Mina. She never felt like this before. Will Chaeyoung fall for Mina and forget about her crush Momo ?
