Hello!

It's been roughly a year and a few months since my last fanfic that I wrote, so just a slight warning, it's probably a bit rusty and all over the place. I don't even know how to make a title and description after such a long time.

Actually, I've been neglecting writing and kpop, the two things that I love the most since last year. I've actually just graduated high school, that's that, and I've been busy with my private life.

Now, since I'm having a lot of free time before starting University, I've been hooked on Mamamoo's newest album 'Red Moon' especially the title track, 'Egoistic'.

And knowing how I am, I always want to make a fanfic about the group that I like.

Last time, I wrote a fanfic called 'One Of Us' also about Mamamoo but with Moonbyul and Solar, Moonsun, for the pairing. It was inspired by the song 'Heathens' by Twenty-one Pilots. If you haven't checked it out, I hope you do, even though it's not my proudest work.

This time, 'Affection' is actually a rushed title, because I don't know what to write, but I want to share this as soon as possible because I usually change my mind a lot about posting a story. The fanfic is actually inspired by Imagine Dragons' new song, 'Natural'. It's quite a jam, so do check it out as well.

And the pairing I used for this one, is Wheein and Moonbyul, Wheebyul. Actually, my favorite member in Mamamoo is Moonbyul, I love her voice. But in this comeback, I'm really drawn to Wheein in some kind of way. Wheebyul is also running low on fanfic.

Also, I've been watching a lot of Wheebyul's fmvs and vids on youtube, by a lot I mean all, to get the feeling of what their relationship is like. And I've tried writing 3 different kinds of fanfics of them, but it always ends up with the same mood, which is a gloomy and fluffy relationship. Especially with a lot of Wheein as a sad side character whenever Moonsun is involved.

With that in mind, I wanted to make this fanfic entirely about Wheein, and in Wheein's point of view.

But If I get the inspiration, I'm thinking of adding another chapter from Byul's point of view. But no promises on that one.

I also don't want to make it gloomy, So I hope you don't feel that way while reading it.

And once again, rusty writing, but I hope with this fanfic, I can be confident to write another one and posting it here.

That was the longest foreword ever. I'm pretty sure nobody bothers on reading 'em. I don't know when I'll be posting another one so, I better pour everything out, lol.
