Yellow umbrella
Sanctuary“Mr. Yang, I can clearly see that you have something going for yourself. Your business is running smoothly and your show is currently at the top list of most watched tv series in South Korea” the advisor said after observing the successful edifice around him. Employees rushing around to tend to their own objectives
Mr. Yang looked at him with an expressionless face “Cut with the formalities Park, I know you’re dying to ask me a favor, it’s about that monkey you’re babysitting isn’t it?” He said, not wanting to waste anymore time
Mr. Park Jin-young breathed out defeatedly “Yes, it is about Jisoo, by any means possible please don’t let her eat the Golden Child” he pleaded
“Golden Child? You mean there’s a living and breathing Golden Child in earth?” The CEO asked for confirmation, an incredulous look on his face followed by twitching and fidgeting that can’t be gone unnoticed
“That’s right, that’s why I ask you to please prevent the Demi God from eating it”
He looked down at the mahogany table with a spotless glass placed on top, his reflection staring right back at him “What’s in it for me?” Nothing is free in this world, he thought
“I know that you’ve been eyeing the God position for a long time now, if you accomplish this mission, no doubt that you’ll gain that position in a snap” The advisor said knowingly, trying to convince the skeptic CEO
He can see the wheels turning inside the CEO's brain, his furrowed eyebrows caused by the internal conflict.
Mr. Yang looked up, letting the advisor know that he finally made a decision “Deal”

“That stupid Demi God, she thought she knew everything well guess what, the world doesn’t revolve around you ” Jennie grumbled while walking home, the flickering lights from the lamp posts giving her company
“I can take care of myself, I don’t need your dumb assistance” wanting to pent out her anger a little bit, she kicked a pebble a little too hard, hitting something in front of her
She looked up to apologize but she was greeted by a black shadow like creature about to lunge at her “Oh no, not again” She tried to block the force using her yellow umbrella, but as always, it was aimlessly thrown to the ground by the merciless monster,
The empty streets isolated her from any possible help she could get. Having nothing in her possession left, she had no choice but to block the incoming bite using her arms
She braced herself at the upcoming pain but nothing came, instead, the scent of cinnamon with a hint of vanilla blanketed her and for the first time in forever, she felt like the safest and the most protected person that ever touched this dangerous land
She cracked her eyes open only to see black jacket towering her vision. She stood up straight to have a clearer view but fast movements and black hair didn't allow her to do so, only noticing that it's a she.
