~Donghae POV~

I stared ahead as Heerin walked out of my life for what would seem to be forever.

She told me that she didn't like me, after all the courage I had worked out to tell her.

She was my childhood crush, my best friend.

I sighed and turned away. What could I do? She didn't  like me...                                                                                             

It's not like I can force her to...

But if I could wish for one thing, I'd wish for her to return my love.

No matter what, I would wait for her.... Even till the strands of time break.

It showed a flashback in my mind when a girl like her walked past. 

She was like her twin; she even had those earrings I gave her.

She didn't seem to notice me; upon that my shoulders slumped, for I had been expecting her.

It was a miracle when she turned around and headed towards me.

"Donghae!" She called out happily and hugged me.

I couldn't return it; my mended and bandaged by time heart shattered again.

She was the one who didn't return my one sided love..

I was glad that she didn't avoid me like the plague though.

I had read that some girls behaved like that after rejecting someone.

She seemed happy to see me, so I returned a strained smile.

"Donghae oppa, you look so good now! I bet girls are all after you!" She giggled.

It was true. I had rejected all of them, and swore I would never love someone again.

But it seemed I still loved her.

The last time I saw her was 5 years ago. She moved, apparently, and according to her now she was back for a holiday.

"Where did you move to?"

I regretted saying those words because her face fell and she ran away.

"Don't go!" I called out desperately.

I fell as I ran, and her vanishing figure was too much for me to bear. 

"Why do you like to go against me?"

I yelled to the fates and destiny for all to hear.
