Behind the sobs would people dare to whisper
Just how much the children are loved
And what they did in the past won't matter.
Beyond the scars would people even see
The ordeals the children had to go through
Just to tell their story?
Looking back would people finally remember
How they went through the same things
And how vulnerable they once were?
