kim dahyun was entering her first year of high school (10th grade, korean school system). she was accepted into the seoul fine arts program for her exceptional singing and dancing, especially after the video of her eagle dance going viral. as she stood outside the front door of the school, she started to get nervous and anxious. thinking: 

“will i be able to fit in? will people like me? what if i don’t do so well in this school and disappoint my parents. will i have friends?” 

but at the same time, dahyun was also thinking of the future experiences she would have. not just any experiences, love experiences. dahyun has had a few small crushes here and there, but she was never really interested. dahyun was exceptionally beautiful, but also being extremely talented, having a beautiful singing voice and rapping voice. along with her dancing skills, boys would go crazy for her, praise and worship you. however, dahyun wasn’t really interested in any of them, the guys at least. along with the questions she was asking herself, she was asking herself: 

“will this be my chance to find a girl i would truly love and care for? will this be the first time i ever experience love?” 

already shaking, dahyun opened the door and walked in. inside, there was an incredible amount of students walking through the hallways. she went over to the main office and grabbed her schedule. 

“first class, precalculus. looks like its all the way over there”

she walked over to the classroom and opened the door, looking inside, the entire class was almost filled, and it was 30 minutes till class started. she greeted her teacher good morning, mr. kim namjoon. 

“ah hello, you must be dahyun, you can sit over there, next to sana. sana? raise your hand please so dahyun can find her seat.”
