Hyemi’s POV

My relationship with Chanyeol is bad nowadays. It’s been month I feel like sleeping with stranger on my bed. I don’t know what to do. He’s been come home late with drunk state. Sometimes he looks like a guy who just hundred girls. I decided to not find out about that more. The only reason why I stay is because of him.

“Ommaaaa!” My son runs toward me once the door is open. “Omma look at this!” He is showing me a golden star badge. “My teacher gives me this because I can count to 50 in english!” He is smiling widely and happily.

I smile because of his words. I feel proud of him.

“Aigoo... My son is very smart...”

He is still smiling widely. Oh he reminds me of him.

“Oh Hyemi you’re here?” asked a new voice.

“Oh hello eonni...” She is my sister in law.

“Chanhooni can’t wait to show that to you since he left the school.”

“But now he shows it.”

“Ommaaa let’s go home. I want to show it to appaa...”

“Alright let’s go home. Let appa see that, hmm?”

“Yes!” He rushes to pack his stuff.

I chuckle because of his act.

“Chanyeol still come home late?” asked her.

Oh her question. “Oh... Since they are going to open a new branch he keeps busy at work...” It’s not completely a lie though.

“You guys, okay?” She sounds worry a bit.

I smile widely. “We are good eonni...”

Chanyeol’s POV

I glance to the clock on my screen. My work hour already finish three hours ago. But i’m still here. Checking these ing financial report. Why they had to print this report this much? Do they know this is wasting my time?

“Sir...” My personal assistant peeking from the door.

“Yes, baek?” replied me without looking at him.

“It’s already late...”

Just say you wanna go home Baek. God damn it.

“You just can leave, Baek...”

“Do you still need more time sir?”

“Yeah... Just leave. I’ll be fine...”

“Alright, I’m leaving first sir...” He bows to me then close the door.

After the door close, I’m throwing my pen then stretching my body. Oh . My body.

Suddenly my phone is ringing. Oh Hyemi gives me a video call. I slide to answer and my son face pop up on the screen.

“Appaaaaa!” greeted him excitedly.

I smile because of that. “Hi baby...”

“When will you home appa? I wanna show you my golden star!”

“Golden star?”

“Oh... Mrs. Lee gives me this because I can count to 50 in English.” He shows me a golden star badge through the screen.

Off course my son! “You are doing a good job baby...”

He is grinning widely there.

“Appa needs to finish his work baby...” This time Hyemi’s voice. It’s tearing my heart a bit you know.

“Appa don’t work too much or you will get sick!”

I chuckle. “Yes...”

This time Hyemi’s face also pop out on the screen.

“Finish your work faster, hmm?” She smiles as usual.

Is she always thinking about my work?

“Yes...”

“Bye bye appaa...”

Both of them are waving their hands then give me a good bye kisses.

I end the call and put my phone back to the table. Not long after the video call, my phone is ringing again.

“Hello?”

“Hyung!!! Come join us!!!” shouted Sehun.

“I have to work...”

“Ahh... Come on hyung! All of us here!”

I can hear the club music beating loudly there.

“Let’s see if I can finish this fast...”

“We are waiting for you hyung!”

I hung up the phone. There are two people who are waiting for me. Which one of them that I will come to?

Hyemi’s POV

“Chanhoon ah you have to sleep it’s already late...” said me while I see him still busy with his coloring book.

“I want to wait for appa, omma...” replied him.

“Appa is still busy with his work.”

“Appa hasn’t see my golden star badge!”

“But you have to go to school tomorrow baby.”

“I don’t want to omma...”

I sigh. I don’t know what makes Chanyeol arrive home this late nowadays. Is he really too busy with his work? Should I give him another call so he will be home?

“Hello?” greeted him after a long ringing tone.

“Hi baby... Do You on your way home already?”

“Will finish in a moment, why is that?”

“Chanhoon doesn’t want to sleep unless you see his golden star badge...”

“Really?”

“Oh...”

“I’ll try finish fast...”

Alright. “I’ll see you soon baby...”

He hung up the phone. Please home faster baby. Your son wants to see you.

I hung up the phone with annoying feel. Does she miss me? Why she always make our son as her excuse? Does she realize I miss her? It’s not like I hate my son. It’s just that I want her attention back. That’s all. Just like the old times. But seems like she doesn’t understand. What should I do then?

I can hear someone knocking the door loudly.  That must be Chanyeol. He is usually home at this hour, if he is drunk. I’m making my way downstairs slowly. Afraid my steps will wake my baby boy. I open the door slowly and the sight surprising me.

“Chanyeol?! What the hell is this?!”

He is drunk. And he is bringing a drunk girl home. What the hell that’s going on here?!
