I was just one of many lumber jacks in District 7. I was in the jungle to pick up woods everyday. The weapon that I only knew how to use is axe. Heck, I only know how to use it to cut the trees down...

... not to cut human down.

*TANG!*

I jump backward, holding spear tightly as my eyes are on the attacker. It seems that I manage to exhaust him a little. Good.

I glance to my left. My partner is hiding behind bushes silently, aiming her crossbow to the attacker. Despite having a small gash on her left arm, her focus is not wavering even a little. I'm proud of her.

Yes, I'm not a fighter. Yes, I don't know much about weapons. But, here I am, being chosen to represent my district. Here I am, fighting for both my life and my partner's life with whatever skills that I possess.
