Have you ever felt like... You're supposed to be looking for someone?

Jinsoul has felt it, she's been looking for someone, searching for that someone. Everywhere she goes she'll feel something in her, as if she could feel that "someone's" presence

She thought she was going crazy, her old friends thought that she's crazy so they started to talk behind her back– Spreading rumors about her that aren't true.

When her parents were still with her they never really saw that side of Jinsoul, they didn't even know what Jinsoul was doing

Everywhere, every time, she'll feel something in her. She'd unconsciously just look around, she doesn't even notice that she starts to search again.

She believed it that it started when she was a kid. She guessed when she was 8 years old, she remembers that day.

When her mom told her not to worry, she'll find someone to stay with her.

Those words were the words that Jinsoul would never ever forget, she loved her mom so much, she doesn't want her mom to leave

Her mom left with her sister, they left because of her father.

Since that day, she lives with her father in their so called home. But her dad rarely comes home, her dad was not a bad father... He just chose his gang over his own family, and chose to be an alcoholic than to be sober and help his daughter.

Now Jinsoul lives alone, in their house. She always thinks about what her mom said, and so she had always been searching.

"Searching for whom exactly?" Someone spoke, startling Jinsoul "Oh.. I'm sorry, what?" She turned her head towards the owner of the voice "Oh uh sorry! I just read what you're writing on your book

Jinsoul nodded. She knew who it was, it was the girl in her class. She never really spoke to her until now, since almost every student in her school avoids her because of those rumors

"I love your hand writing" The girl spoke again. Jinsoul nodded then smiled before sitting comfortably on her chair and looking out the window "I'm Haseul by the way" Jinsoul turned to look at the girl

"Yeah... I know you" Jinsoul responded as the girl smiled "You're the girl who was rumoured to be looking for someone— " She started, she earned a faint hum from Jinsoul

"Is it true that you're looking for that someone to kill them??" Jinsoul then fully looked at Haseul, stared at her for a moment before replying "Do you believe them"

"N-no. Of course not, it's just a rumor— "

"But some rumors turned out to be right"

Jinsoul stared at her for a while before standing up and leaving the room.

She admits, she felt bad. She felt bad for acting so cold. The girl looked really nice but instead she decides to act cold

Sighing, she flopped down on one of the bench. She just wanted to be alone, even if she's already alone.

Just when she thought that she's at peace, she felt water pour down on her head. Her eyes widened as she looked at her hands, black, she thought.

It was not normal water, it has a black color. She already knew that it was dirty, slowly, she wiped her face with her left hand

She heard giggling from above her, "Oops! We're sorry! We didn't notice you!" Someone spoke then giggling could be heard again

Jinsoul doesn't care, she's used to it. She just sat there, soaked, shivering, cold. All she wanted to do was sit peacefully, not like sitting peacefully would be given to her

Suddenly she heard footsteps coming her way, her head was hung low. "Hey, mind if I could talk to you three for a second?" Someone spoke from beside her

It was not directed to her, but to the students above them, "S-student council p-president...!"

Oh, the student pres.

Jinsoul thought, then felt someone lay a towel on her head. "Let's go" another spoke and took her up, apparently Jinsoul obviously knew that two people were helping her

Jinsoul sat down on a stool, she was drying her hair with the towel. She had completely changed her uniform, well every student studying there has a spare.

"You obviously didn't care if they bully you or not" The student council president spoke, "And I obviously don't care about them—" Jinsoul looked up at the student council president "-Student pres"

"Sooyoung...is the name" she responded, "Why did you help me?" Jinsoul asked, a stupid question

"Because I wanted to— we wanted to"

The other girl spoke who Jinsoul remembers as the girl who's named Haseul "And why is that..?"

She asked again, Jinsoul is obviously trying to annoy them but it didn't look like it's working, "Aish, you're terrible"

Sooyoung sighed and crossed her arms "How could you forget?"

Haseul chuckled and smiled widely at Jinsoul "Forget what? Do I have something to remember?" Jinsoul frowned

"A terrible friend indeed"

"When was I your friend?"

Jinsoul was very confused, she stared at them with a frown. "How could you forget Youngie the apple addict and Ha-nnie a chubby kid who's afraid of birds?"

"H-how do you... Know them???" She asked, eyes wide as the two grinned

that's when Jinsoul realized... That she has friends after all.

"WHY ARE YOU RUNNING??? WHY ARE WE RUNNING???" Haseul panted, running as fast as she could to match the other two's speed

"UH... OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW!"

Sooyoung responded, still running. Jinsoul was the one leading the way. Running through the crowd "ASK OUR- LEADER!"

Sooyoung looked back at Haseul then in front to keep on running. Jinsoul who's in front of them is running so fast

They barely even catch up on her, "We should– let her...!" Sooyoung stopped, panting. Haseul stopped as well

They stood beside each other "Why did she even run???" Haseul frowned, Sooyoung shrugged "She suddenly ran. Jeez, that is really weird"

Haseul sighed and they sat down on those benches that randomly is built somewhere around the park, "Don't tell me that she's searching again.."

Sooyoung could only facepalm when she thinks of Jinsoul searching again, she never gets tried of searching.

She held out her hand while running towards a girl who's back is turned. But then a group of people pushed her back, people who're passing by

Jinsoul fell on the ground, she scoffed when all the people had finally passed by- the girl was gone.

She was still breathing heavily, she slowly stood up and she ran her fingers through her black hair.

"I almost!... Almost! I almost found her!"

She received a smack on the head by Sooyoung "YOU DON'T SEARCH FOR YOUR SOULMATE !"

Jinsoul hissed "THAT HURT!" Haseul sighed, "Are you serious??? Can you at least tell us if you're about to run??"

Sooyoung crossed her arms as Jinsoul lowered her head "Yeah, yeah. I'm sorry" Sooyoung patted Jinsoul's shoulder "You know what? It's fine. Let's just go home, we have school tomorrow"

"Yeah.. Let's do that.."

Jinsoul was looking out the window, it was lunch time. She didn't want to eat alone so she wait for Sooyoung and Haseul to come back

She was looking down at Sooyoung. She was with another girl 'Another confession??' Jinsoul thought as she kept on watching

"Hey Jinsoul unnie!"

Jinsoul smiled, she knows who it is. Her favorite dongsaeng, Choi Yerim "Henlo~" as always she was greeted by a warm hug

"What are you looking at?" The shorter one asked innocently, "The great, great God. With another girl" Jinsoul grinned at Yerim

"Woooooo~ Sooyoung unnie is very popular!"

Jinsoul hummed, "She is. She probably will turn down that poor kid, too bad. That girl is pretty cute"

"She's my friend, I hope she doesn't get sad" Yerim looked up at her unnie with a sad face, Jinsoul chuckled and pats her head with the other leaning into the touch

Jinsoul has always treated Yerim like her sister, since she had always waited for her mom and her sister to come back.

She met Yerim in the library, the girl is very cheerful and is very friendly. Even though she knows about those rumors she still wanted to be friends with the older one

She even remembers Yerim saying, "They're just jealous of how pretty you are, unnie! That's why they say all those things! If I see them I will punch them in their faces!"

She said while punching an imaginary person in front of her as Jinsoul chuckled

"Unnie! Let's go~ Haseul unnie and Sooyoung are waiting" Yerim pulled her by the hand, she just smiled- thinking that her sister is probably the same age as Yerim.

They always hang out in the student council office, since Sooyoung is the president no one stops her from letting the others in the office. Plus- the vice president was kind enough so she was friends with them

Jinsoul and Yerim were playing with Sooyoung's phone while the president write stuff on her paper, Haseul was helping out Sooyoung

A ding was heard, coming from Sooyoung's phone. It echoed through the quiet room, Haseul and Sooyoung's attention turned towards the other two.

Jinsoul narrowed her eyes and looked at the notification, a message from someone. "..Ji—" before she could even read it out loud, Sooyoung had snatched her phone out of her hands

"Don't read it" Sooyoung glared, clutching the phone tightly. "Woooo- and who might that be?" Jinsoul and Yerim said the 'Woooo' part in unison

With a grin she looked at Sooyoung, "Shut your mouth or else i'll kick your out of this office"

"What~ have you finally found someone?" Yerim asked "Hmmm, You could say that, yes. Unlike Jinsoul over here who's still busy running around– searching over and over"

Jimsoul scoffed while Haseul and Yerim chuckled

"When will you stop?" Kahei– the vice president in the student council asked, and yes– they were all close enough to share 'Jinsoul's obsession on searching'

Jinsoul looked at the older one and shot her a confused look "Stop what?" She asked, the older one smiled

"Searching—"

She stopped, "—and running of course"

Jinsoul chuckled "I guess when I finally found what i'm looking for" she answered plainly, they were once again in the student council office
