Gikwang’s pov

I decide to go back into practise room and pretend like everything is normal. I finish my coffee and walk towards the room and I can hear Let it Snow song plays loudly.

I move closer to see what is going on inside. As soon as I look inside the anger in me makes my heart beat faster. I clench my fists when I see them that close to each other. Hyunseung and Melina are dancing to Let it Snow, but they are really close to each other. I feel like I will explode from the jealousy. I walk in.

“What the hell are you doing” I scream through the loud music and Yoseobs presses the stop button and they look at me including Melina. But my eyes are fixed on Hyunseung.

“ What is going on here?” asks someone behind me and I turn around to face our president of Cube who is staring at me questioningly. I guess he heard me screaming.

“President, We were just showing the dance to Gikwang.” Says Hyunseung in English while looking at me as if to say “ Just agree”. And I nod my hear towards the president and he smiles and walks in. I still have no idea what the hell is going on. Why is he dancing like that with Melina? Why is he touching her? Its not like she is mine anymore but STILL!

“ Great lets see what you came up with and who is this beautiful lady dancing with you?” asks president in english and I see Melina looking at me. As soon as I look she looks elsewhere as if she is scarred to meet my gaze. My heart hurts seeing her sad like this. Has she become this thin because of me? Is she in that much pain?

“ She is our friend from London, she is a great dancer, this dance was all her idea. She thinks it will be great if the song was performed with female dancers.” Explains Hyunseung and my heart eases a little bit after understanding the situation. They start dancing while all of us are watching them.

The dance is more than amazing. No wonder. She is the one who came up with the moves. I still don’t like the way Hyunseung is dancing with her. After they are done we all clap.

“ well well well, Hyunseung well done, and young lady you are an amazing dancer.” Says our president and she bows and thanks him.

“ I have an idea, how about you dance with Hyunseung on stage for the concert and Gikwang can dance with another female member. You are good enough to be on stage.” he says and well look at the president with shocked faces. This can’t be happening. Us on the same stage?

“ But I don’t have any experience” she says shyly.

“ You looked as if you had years of experience  so I don’t think that will be a problem. I will send a female dancer so you guys can practise all together, there is only 2 weeks left for the concert so Hwaiting!” says the president and walks out.

Melina’s Pov

Oh God! What did I get myself into? I tried my best to stay out of Gikwang’s sight and now I will be on the same stage with him. Why was he angry earlier when he came in? Was he jealous by any chance? No way, Gikwang looks angry every time our eyes meet. He hates me, I can tell.

I need to leave, I need to go, I can’t take this pain, I can’t stand to see him looking at me with such hate. When I love him...A girl just walked in. She is beautiful, really beautiful.

“AnnyeonghaseyoI am Gim Na Dal. I will be Gikwang’s dance partner for the upcoming show.” She explains and we all greet her back. My heart twists itself in my chest. This feeling….jealousy.

“ Lets start practising guys,Na Dal the moves are simple just follow us and you will be fine” says Gikwang to the girl and the girl smiles at him, exaggerated smile indeed. I can’t help but feel jealous at the way they are dancing close with each other.  She keeps smiling but Gikwang seems to concentrated to look at her while dancing. I can’t take this jealousy inside, it’s such a bad feeling, I can’t even concentrate on my part.

“ Melina, you need to concentrate, stop looking at Gikwang, Don’t worry she isn’t his type at all” Hyunseung whispers in my ear and I lose my balance and  fall.

“ oouucchhh! “ I scream in pain holding my ankle.

“ Melina are you ok, Does it hurt?” says Gikwang leaning down and holding my ankle. I look at him with a shocked face and he looks shocked at his reaction too. It’s the first time he spoke to me after such a long time. I miss the way he said my name. We keep staring into each other’s eyes.

“I…I lost my balance, I am ok, I just need to take a rest for a minute” I say and get up to walk outside.

I miss him so much, I miss his touch, I miss his smile, his voice, everything about him. Why did it have to come to this? why? Why can’t we just be together and be happy? Why is he doing this to me why? Tears escape from my eyes.

“Don’t cry please, I promise you everything will be alright.” I hear Hyunseung’s voice behind me. I turn around to see him looking at me worried. He hugs me tight and I cry more.

“ Oppa I really can’t handle this pain anymore. My heart is too weak to stand it. I can’t just look at his face and pretend as if everything is alright, as if we are strangers. I still can’t get to sleep at night, I can’t even eat, I keep thinking about him. I can’t stand it when he looks at me as if he hates me” I say to him while my tears are falling on to his chest. He looks into my eyes and smiles.

“Melina Do you love him?” he asks me.

“I love him, this is why I my heart can’t take this pain anymore, we were good and I hate what we became.” I say to him honestly.

“Then you beautiful, stop crying now! If I know him enough, I am 0 sure he loves you too and everything will be back to how it was before, I promise you.”
