Moonbyul POV:

You know that place between sleeping and being awake, that place where you can still remember dreaming? That’s where I’ll always think of you. I’m stuck in a time warp, because I always thought you were the prettiest thing alive when we first met; when you  were 21 and I was 20, both unarmed against the world. You still look the same. I then develop an eerie habit to check and double check for reminders that I did not dream what happened with us before. And I do not have sufficient powers to will you every wish. I tell you this all the time. I tell you I want to make you happy. We drive with nowhere to go, with nowhere to stay, unnoticed and unannounced. We have no real choice but to burn gasoline and emit fossil fuel. My hand in your lap. Both taking turns to sing along to your songs.

Chapter 1: The foreword's already got my attention. Damn, this angst. I didn't come here for thisss -wails in agony- (I should stop overreacting.) This part is so deep: 'They haven’t had that conversation yet. Maybe it’s not just one- maybe there’s hundreds of little conversations needed in the space between them. Were they supposed to be this close to each other?'
There was this kind of heavy silence while I was reading this chapter. It's like I could really feel the tension between them, with all the unspoken words and feelings. Why does it seem like a dilemma to Yongsun dating her colleague a year younger and a friend of her sister? :O
Excited to see how this goes. The way you write is brilliant in expressing heavy emotions.
