Taehyung didn't remember when it started to happen.

He didn't know when the occasional glances started turning into lingering ones. It felt like it was only yesterday when he could joke around with his hyung and completely be fine. But now every touch and eye contact set his skin ablaze and his heart into a mess. It was starting to get harder to control the emotions on his face despite his supposed acting prowess. He started to notice the little things about his eldest hyung his long fanning eyelashes, the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled, his beautiful upturned nose, the way his skin felt smooth to the touch and his ....plump lips. And for more than one occasion he found himself pinching his arm for the thoughts that followed:

He wondered how it would feel under his own.

He'd feel worse the whole day after, preferring to stay on his room getting drunk on strawberry juice and listening to jazz music to calm his nerves. He had thought that his attraction to his Jin-hyung was only a passing one. Something that would leave him eventually.

He had talked about it with Jungkook before without the maknae understanding anything. He had thought that he and Jungkook were going through the same thing. They both grew up and matured under the care of their eldest maybe it was normal that they both would get attracted to him first. It's not like they could meet up girls with their identities. So he had arrogantly told him to get ahead. Maybe Jungkook would figure it out first. He would wait out and see.

But Jungkook seemed oblivious to everything and Taehyung was getting scared of his own feelings.
