Episode 1: The Pilot

Part One

Chaerin had mixed emotions towards the letter and news she just received. It would’ve been nice if they had informed her beforehand, now here she was looking lost and confused in front of the cameras. There was a hand camera next to the letter. She grabbed it and turned the camera on, it seemed like she’ll have to do some vlogging. She flipped the flap of the camera where she could see herself.

“Hello everyone and my beautiful gzb’s! My name is CL of 2NE1!” Chaerin smiled into the camera and gave them a small wave. “From what you might have seen from before, my first mission is to find my significant other a present.” She looked around the room for any more notes or clues, but there were none. She began walking out the door, trying to balance her items with one hand and hold the camera in the other. “I wonder what they like. What if I get them something they don’t like? Am I ready to become a reality wife?” Chaerin laughed at herself for rambling out questions.

While Chaerin was making her way towards Yang Hyun-suk office, We Got Married’s hosts were settling themselves down on the comfortable couches, waiting to see Chaerin’s next move.

On the single couch was MC Park Mi-sun and on the big comfy couch were the guests for the first episode, which were Big Bang’s Seungri and 2NE1’s Park Bom.

“It looks like Chaerin is trying to get used to holding the camera.” Park Mi-sun commented.

“It has been a while since she’s done this type of reality show.” Bom pitched in.

“Oh yes, 2NE1 TV was done back in 2009. Do any of you ever look back and watch the seasons all over again?”

“It’s been a while since I personally watched 2NE1 TV, but I remember those memories like it was yesterday.”

“Oh look Chaerin is finally meeting CEO Yang!” Seungri pointed towards the screen excitingly.

Chaerin had a sickening feeling inside her stomach as she made her way towards YG’s office and when she saw his creepy big smile, she knew something fishy was going on. Whenever he smiled like that either something bad was going to happen or he just knew something she didn’t.

“Chaerin-ah looks like you’ve seen the reason why we requested you to come back as soon as possible.”

“Yeah, and for a second I thought it was to discuss something about my upcoming album.” There was a small silence for a few seconds until the both of them broke out in laughter, knowing her album would be in the dungeon for a few more years.

“I don’t know if PD-nim has told you, but you’ll be staying in a new apartment for your filming. The keys should be given to you after your first mission. Good luck.” And just like that YG walked away into his office.

“New house?” Chaerin asked the camera man, who just nodded the camera. “So this is really real.” She awkwardly chuckled.

Bom and Seungri were laughing along with them, knowing how their CEO could be at times. He could be confusing but was very direct with his words.

“It seems like Chaerin doesn’t like the idea of living in a new home?” Mi-sun asked Chaerin’s label mates.

“I think the news was just so sudden, so she is left in shock. The thought of living with a stranger could be new and scary for her as well.” Seungri said.

“Well, in the letter they mentioned that this mystery person was someone she knew.” The MC pointed out, causing Seungri to think deeply on who it could be.

“Hmm, I really wonder who it could be.” Bom thought hard as well, mentally marking off people who knew Chaerin.

The screen then switched over from Chaerin getting into her car for her mission to the mystery person finding their letter. Their voice was masked by a deep robotic voice and a blurry image covering their face. Bom whined out cutely asking who it could be. The body however seemed quite familiar to her but she couldn’t put her finger on it.

The person was reading the letter out loud and looking around to see if it was a prank or not. “Me? We got married? Is my other half young?” With the way they were talking it seemed like this person’s age was slightly older. They then saw a cameraman hand the person an envelop. “First mission? Buy your significant other a gift. Well that shouldn’t be too hard.”

“Seems like this person is very confident.” Mi-sun commented.
