“Why does it hurt so much? Jung Ilhoon, why do you keep on torturing yourself?” I said listening to the waves crashing onto the beach. I didn’t get an answer and truthfully, I didn’t expect one.

Looking at the full moon lighting up the ocean, tears started to form in my eyes. I was clenching and rubbing my heart trying to ease 5 years of agony and pain that has constantly been with me. 

“Tonight” I said sobbing as tears rolled down my face, “tonight, I will finally make a decision that will either end my heartache or make it worse.”
