Minho supported Sulli to stand properly, he then held her by the waist and led her to sit on one of the benches in the courtyard. He noticed the color had drained from her face. She was holding her cell phone rather tightly to her ears but she looked too shocked to say anything. "Let me?" Minho gently asked her with a turned up palm for her phone. Sulli hesitated before she allowed Minho to take the phone from her trembling hand. He sat beside her and held one of her hands with his free one. "Hi, Mrs. Choi? I'm Minho, Sulli's friend. Yes, she's in shock…" Sulli welcomed the warmth of Minho's hand over hers but she couldn't think properly as her ears were roaring loudly and Minho's conversation with her mother barely registered. "What hospital?…..I see. Yes, we will be there as soon as possible…don't worry…she will get there safe." Said Minho before he hung up and handed back her cell phone. "How are you feeling?" He asked softly, his eyes full of concern. "I'll be fine." Sulli breathed unsteadily and her hand that was enveloped by his was still trembling. "We can't get there quickly. The drive is more than two hours." "We can. Let me take care of that. Okay?" Minho squeezed her hand and then he made phone calls, issuing orders to the persons on the other end of the line. Sulli also likely heard that Minho was talking to a doctor. She leaned her head on his broad shoulder, feeling weak with shock. For once, it felt good to have someone take charge and have a shoulder to lean on. Sulli heard footsteps and lifted her head to see auntie Soo hurrying towards them. Auntie Soo saw Sulli's pale face and sat on the other side of her on the bench. "My dear, are you okay? What happened?" "There's been an accident…my dad…" Sulli tried to explain but she choked on the words. "You must be really worried. Minho arranged for my husband to drive you to the heliport." Said auntie Soo in a soothing voice. Heliport? Of course, people like Minho's family would have access to a helicopter. "Is the car ready, auntie Soo?" Asked Minho to the older woman as soon as he ended the calls. "Yes. He is waiting for you." "Good." Said Minho and he turned his gaze on her. "Are you able to walk Sulli?" "Yes." Sulli quickly replied because Minho looked ready to carry her to the car. "I was a little shaken, but I'm alright now." The drive to the heliport was short. In no time, they were flying over Seoul to Busan and talking was really impossible amidst the loud whirring of the copter rotors. Sulli recalled her conversation with her mother. She and her brother were in the waiting room of the Emergency Room. They had not received any news from doctors and nurses yet. Sulli prayed for her father's safety. The image of her healthy and active father was now lying unconsciously devastated her. Around 30 minutes later, they landed on the hospital helipad. Minho and Sulli were met by the doctor who Minho talked with on the phone. "I am not directly involved in the care of Mr. Choi." Said the doctor to them. "But a friend of mine is. He will talk to your family as soon as he can. Let me show you to the waiting room." Minho placed a protective hand on the curve of her spine as they went down to the waiting room from the rooftop. Sulli barely noted the gesture as she was too worried about her father to think of anything else. Minho and the doctor chatted on the way. They were talking about the recent donation the Choi family had given to the hospital. The conversation flew over her head. Somehow, she heard them but she didn't really take them in. As soon as Sulli stepped into the waiting room, her mother rushed towards her with her brother on her heels. "How is he mom? Any news?" Asked Sulli to her mother. "The doctor said he suspects a mild traumatic brain injury. He will be on observation for twenty four hours." Her mother informed her. "And he broke his right pelvis. He has to have surgery to fix it." "Is he going to be okay?" "They cannot conclusively say right now. But the doctor said the signs are good." Her brother said, reaching for her and enclosing her in a bear hug. Sulli sighed in relief and leaned on her brother's chest. When she looked up, she saw Minho by the doorway watching her enigmatically. "Oh Minho. Sorry…" She had forgotten about him, which was very ungrateful of her. After all he had brought her here. "You were the one I talked on phone with, Sulli's friend, Minho!" Her mother clasped his hand as soon as he stepped forward. "Thank you for bringing my daughter here so quickly." "We are not exactly….friend." Said Sulli but her voice got drowned out by his response. No one seemed to hear the last word. "Not a problem, Mrs. Choi." Replied Minho, squeezing her mother's hand. He turned towards her brother, imperceptibly frowning at the arm her sibling had around her. "Choi Minho." He introduced himself and took her brother's proffered hand with extreme civility. An amused smile touched Sulli's brother's lips
