Krystal was laying on top of her sleeping tomboy girlfriend, well they weren’t official but they did everything couples usually did. She was listening to her soft heartbeats, but they never could compare. She shut her eyes tightly, counting backwards slowly, trying to get unwanted memories out of her mind. It failed, she always failed at losing a hold of those memories, because even the method of losing memories was from someone she was trying to forget.

“Soojung!” Krystal saw a blurry figure run towards another young girl. These youthful teens looked so familiar to her. “What’s wrong?” She saw the running girl swat down and wipe away the other girl’s tears.

Soojung nodded her head side to side, not being capable to speak, but she did lean her body into the other girl.

“Another bad day Soojung?” The girl combed Soojung’s hair soothingly, whispering so gently into her ear, hoping her words could help calm down the crying girl. “Whenever I want to forget my bad memories I count down backwards. It really works, why don’t you try it?”

“O-out lo-loud?” Soojung shyly asked, Krystal could faintly see a shade of pink across her cheeks.

“I think you can do it in your head.” The other girl beamed a bright smile. Soojung leaned further into her friend and closed her eyes.

10. 9. 8. 7. She felt her heart calm down, it seemed like her mind was too focused on the numbers. 6. 5. 4. Krystal saw the other girl slowly turn her head towards her. 3. 2. Her eyes focused on those familiar features. One.

“S-sulli!” Krystal screamed as she opened her eyes. She looked around and noticed that she was in her room and not at the park watching those girls. She also noticed that she was now alone.

“Look you can’t stay for dinner. We have a guest!” Krystal could hear her sister yelling at someone on the other side of her room door and she had an idea of who it could’ve been.

“But Krystal invited me over.” She sighed and made her way towards her door, opening it slightly and seeing Amber and Jessica at each others neck again. “There you are Krys, can you tell your sister to let me stay for dinner!”

“Jess-“

“No. We have company so she can just eat out for the night.”

“I don’t remember us inviting someone over though.” Krystal thought about all the possibilities on who the guest could be. “But Jess, just let Amber join us—“

“Yeah, Jess, let me join. Plus, I am your sister’s girlfriend.” Krystal was about to walk down the stairs but stopped as soon as she heard what Amber labeled herself.

She swore they talked about this topic before, that they were more than friends but not lovers. She wasn’t emotionally ready to invest herself in someone else, but Amber was the ray of sunshine she needed in her life. But it wasn’t enough. Krystal knew Jessica was waiting for her to say something, but her little day dream from before made her feel exhausted. She just combed out her hair and lazily made her way downstairs. At the end of the steps, she saw an unfamiliar person. Their back was facing towards her. They were talking to Tiffany, but her heart felt heavy the closer she got to them.

“Oh, Krystal, right on time!” She faced Tiffany, who called out her name. She could tell how tense the mysterious got from their body posture. The person slowly turned around and it felt like time had slowed down. Krystal stopped mid-way from coming towards them. The smile on her face dropping. Her heart losing control. Her body itching to run towards them. Her eyes glistening with possible tears.

“Ssul…” The said girl shyly scratched the back of her neck as she closed . Krystal felt good that she could still leave the other girl breathless.

“Soojung…” Both couldn’t let their eyes tear away from each other. They didn’t notice that Tiffany wasn’t there anymore as she was too busy fangirling with her camera, making sure to capture this moment to show Jessica later on. “How have you been?” Sulli gave Krystal her signature eye smile, one that left Krystal gasping for air. It took them back to memory lane.

Krystal and Jessica always had strict parents, so when prom came around, their father didn’t want them going with boys. Luckily, Krystal was dating Sulli – a girl. So when Krystal walked down the stairs, in her sparkling gown looking like royalty, she felt everything freeze. At the bottom of the staircase was Sulli, in a suit with her hair all curly – just like her personality. A smile never left either of their faces. They were lost in their own planet as her mother was busy pushing the duo together for some traditional pictures. She laughed when her father was trying to give Sulli the keep-my-daughter-safe speech. He was trying to act all tough, even though deep down he was joking. Sulli grabbed her hand, making them escape the flashing lights and distractions.

“Sorry that you had to deal with that.” Soojung shyly said, facing the car window.

“It’s okay. I thought it was cute, you are daddy’s little girl.” Sulli threw her head back, laughing along with Krystal.

They danced all night, whether it be a slow song or upbeat, they kept their distance short and their rhythm slow. Sulli looked into Krystal’s bright eyes. A smile formed on her lips, seeing through her soul. How lucky she was to see through Krystal’s cold wall. The first moment she laid her eyes on the other girl, she knew they could never be friends only.

Krystal grew tired of the humid atmosphere and Sulli could only agree. They ran out and got back into Sulli’s jeep.

“Home?” Sulli asked as she slowly reversed out from their parking spot.

“It’s too early. I want to spend more time with you—” Krystal felt the car stop and a familiar pair of lips connected with her own. Her thoughts out the window. Her mind and soul cloud high.

“S-sorry I..” Sulli pulled away and continued to drive out from the parking lot, being thankful that the streets are empty. Krystal could only giggle at Sulli’s shy actions.

“Ssul you’ve kissed me before, you do know that right?” Her hands playing with Sulli’s hair. Krystal’s cold fingers making contact with Sulli’s heated cheeks. She pinched them, going back to a silly atmosphere.

“Oh yeah, almost forgot!” Sulli going back to her semi-cocky personality. “You couldn’t get your hands off of me the first time we kissed. I don’t blame you.” She laughed out loud when Krystal smacked her shoulder.

“Prom was so boring, but I’m lucky you were my date.” Krystal leaned her head more towards Sulli, staring deeply at the girl who was so focused on driving.

Chapter 1: I love how Krystal just kinda yeeted Amber out of the house xD
"Lmao, bye . I'm gonna get laid with my ex tonight."

Jessi just wants the best for her little sis, and I can respect that. Girl was on a mission and no one can stop her from making Jungli endgame.

Cute story btw, I felt soft when Krystal hugged Sulli and begged her not to leave T_T)

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: This story is just wow, the complexity and depth of the characters and plot is both incredibly interesting and extremely well written. The relationship between characters is very realistic and very heartbreaking at the same time. I don’t think anyone made the right decision in this story, there all somewhat selfish and to focused on there own well being and happiness that it’s that blinding there actions and reasoning towards what right and wrong in my opinion and that just really kinda sad. So I’m start with Krystal because I don’t really like how Krystal handled anything, she just dump amber and kicked her out like it was nothing, I understand that she couldn’t move on from sulli and she knows staying with amber would be wrong but she should have handled it much better. So I don’t really have much sympathy for her but again I do understand her reasoning and get where she coming from but I just can’t expect her actions at all. Then there the whole soojung/sulli situation which was fascinating to read and it was incredibly well done, there scenes together were filled with such raw emotion and love that I just couldn’t got over how much I wanted them together. The scene where soojung/sulli broke up was so heartbreaking to read and whole time I was like don’t be stupid and don’t let her go but I know that what I wanted was not going to happen. Plus they had already come to terms with the fact that relationship was over and watching sulli just letting her go hurt her and me as a reader really bad. Soojung internal conflict about wanting to be stopped was so beautifully done and had me crying. Also the whole dinner scene was masterfully done, it pacted with depth, emotion and tons of character. The initiations and the way the characters were towards each other and then phone call happens, that was just so amazing. So somewhat after that when Krystal make amber leave then when Soojung and Sulli came down the stairs(after fantastic bed room scene), the awkward and just raw emotion of that what was happening was deafening. Then when Krystal and Sulli got back together it just felt wrong to me, I understand it’s probably better this way and that can find happiness together. If only the other parts didn’t happen I would be happy for them because there really cute together and there interactions at the end was really great but I just couldn’t and I don’t really understand why. Now onto Jessica/Tiffany parts, for one those two are really cute together and they didn’t really play a big role in the story but I felt like they didn’t really understand what going on the whole time because I know they love Krystal and wanted her with Sulli but I don’t know they just didn’t seem to care about anything else other then that. Unless that was on intentional and suppose to symbolize that fact the parents don’t understand the kids and can’t comprehend what there going though, it that’s the case then that whole thing was brilliant. Also dont get me wrong I love there characters a lot but they just seem a little out of touch with what is happening, I could be wrong and I probably am so I’ll leave it at that. Also before I forget to mention it, Soojung/Sulli backstory was fantastic, it did a great job at getting to understand both there characters perfectly and understand both of there personalities as well as there relationship and love for each other. That part was just excellent and mix that with other parts and you have yourself a masterpiece. One last thing before I go, I don’t hate Krystal completely, I understand if you think I do but I just feel like she could of done things better. Im not mad that Krystal and Sulli ended up together in the end, I’m really happy for them I love the ending but to me it was very much a bittersweet feeling to end on. Anyway, I’m done now ^_^, I’v said everything that I wanted to say I think. Thank you very much for this amazing story and I can’t wait for more.

Chapter 1: Lol, it wasn't so bad, it was really cute, actually, props to the Jeti cameo

Sometimes we have the need to be with someone just so we are not alone, which is what happened to Krystal, she just couldn't forget about Sulli, so she was "dating" Amber. Ngl to you tho, I would have liked if Kryber's break-up hadn't been so abrupt, but overall i did like it

Chapter 1: So I finally managed to get to reading this last night! ANd in the morning, it's finally time for my comment.
I really like how you use the flashbacks to connect the past with the present, it creates a very pleasant flow.
Okay, but Jessica is SO over the top XD You can't just force a girl on your sister (Although in this case it does work I guess but you know..)
*cough*Of course it's Jeti*cough*
Sulli keeping a close eye on Amber hah! Cute ♥
(AND ONCE AGAIN JESSICA BEING OVER THE TOP AMBER HAS PROBABLY TOUCHED KRYSTAL WAY MORE THAN THAT ALREADY WOMAN!)
"And iif looks could burn, the hand on Krystal's thigh would have been long gone" Lolol, I can't deal XD
2Hot... I see what you did there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Where's the lie thogh? Seriously, I think this might be the only F(x) duo that doesn't even have a single together and it's very upstting :K
asdfghjkl;, I wanna get laid after a concert too :( The adrenaline must be amazing.
Amber and Suzy?! asdfghjkl that's so weird.
Holy sh0-ie-wkfoejrfiojes holy fluffballs. Krystal really has no trouble at all sending Amber away huh? You know... I do kinda feel for Amber in this story :(
Dawww, at least this time Krystal is not letting her girl go ♥
JESSICA STOP BEING SO MEAN ABOUT/TO AMBER FFS
Although Jeti listening in through the door is too funy XD Especially since they asked not to be too loud, but apparently want them to be loud in the end anyway :')
'that thing' is too much though Jess, this means war :K Let's go outside and fight.

Chapter 1: This was such a emotional read. All throughout the fanfic, I couldn't decide which side to fall on. Sulli or Krystal? Hell I even sympathised with Amber. She was there for Krystal, when Sulli was away. And the blatant dismissal of her by Jessica was very sad. I can understand that Sulli is the better person than Amber. Coz Amber clearly proclaimed herself as Krystal's girlfriend even when told by Krystal not to do so. And Amber's loud behaviour probably was not approved by Jessica.
Sulli was the selfless person here. Really, she respected Krystal's wishes, never ever demanding anything from her. And thats what makes Sulli better than Amber here. Sulli did not claim Krystal without her consent. And you made this difference very clear, kudos to you for that!
Krystal was . . . Very human. She had flaws, which I could relate to. Everyone is not decisive. But the way Krystal finally decided to stay with Sulli, her fears be damned, made me do a fist pump! I was genuinely happy for them.
Hmm, you know what? While I was typing this, my mind came up with the correct side by itself!
The right side to fall on is where Krystal and Sulli will be able to stay together, and not let indecisiveness come between them again.
Your writing style is very clear and descriptive, and you make your characters emote through your words, so they never seem flat to me. It's as if they have a life of their own ya know?
The transition to flashbacks was a bit sudden I think. For example; "Her eyes closed." And bam! Flashback rolls in. Maybe if you added a extra line like "She closed her eyes and remembered Sulli walking away a few years ago . . ." The transition would have been smoother.
But this is my opinion. So don't take it too seriously k! :)
P.S- jeti was pretty cute too ; )
