** LISA'S POV **

 

 

I enter my room and finished talking to my both parents who just had their worst nightmare.

 

 

 

The house was robbed by these heartless thief and almost killed my parents because they don't want to give all the jewelries and money inside.

 

 

 

My mom is crying all through the call and dad was trying his best to calm her down.

 

 

 

" How worst is it? " I asked

 

 

 

" You don't need to worry about it, Go finish college and we'll take care of it " 

 

 

 

But i can't ignore the fact that they'll be suffering and looking for a way to give me money.

 

 

 

I wanted to tell them that i care but then it would cause more drama and i should be the one who is comforting my parents but then i am not there to do that.

 

 

 

Even though i want to go home and fly back to thailand. 

 

 

 

Still,

 

 

 

I can't afford it.

 

 

 

I looked at my saving jar and it was the money i save from my allowance to atleast visit them twice a year.

 

 

 

 

" Everything will be alright " Dad said

 

 

 

I tried to cheer up myself though i am not good at it, But i need to. 

 

 

 

" We'll be flying to Seoul to talk with the investor who will try to help us with it, So don't worry. I'll take care of it " Dad said

 

 

 

But then i can't just let them go here without seeing them.

 

 

 

So i asked them to meet me before going back to Thailand.

 

 

 

 
The truth is that, 

 

 

 

I don't know if i can make it to pass the scholarship for Oxford. 

 

 

 

Cause that'll be very hard.

 

 

 

I don't find Jennie as a competitor.

 

 

 

Since there's two slots,

 

 

 

Maybe we can have it.

 

 

 

Since i know she work hard too.

 

 

 

 

" Lisa! "

 

 

 

I saw Nayeon waving at me and i was spacing out in the office while working on the University Magazine.

 

 

 

" What are you even thinking " She asked

 

 

 

" Nothing, just stuffs " i sighed.

 

 

Nayeon just nodded but i know she knows something is bothering me, and she knows that i can handle it on my own and spill afterwards when i'm done.

 

 

 

She gave me my camera and it's bag since she used it for the event last time and told me that i should consider some pictures in there for the publication.

 

 

" Yeah sure. "

 

 

 

" You have your keys in the dark room " she said 

 

 

 

 

 

I nodded and sighed.

 

 

 

 

" Go. I know you need to some time alone " 

 

 

 

And when i stand up, She pat my shoulder before she leave the office.

 

 

 

I looked at my keys and sighed again.

 

 

 

Look at how Nayeon knows where i stay everytime i'm like this.

 

 

 

All i want is a dark room and silent one.

 

 

 

 

At the same time i'm working for some photographs needed in the publication.

 

 

 

But then when i open the door,

 

 

 

I saw a lot of photograps hanging after getting it from the water to dry.

 

 

 

Then there was this picture.

 

 

 

It's been years since that picture has taken and it's still there.

 

 

 

 

I walk towards thay picture and lookat it again.

 

 

 

Just look how cute it is but then i just sighed and let it stays where it is.

 

 

 

I sit there and reflect things happening in my mind.

 

 

 

I wonder what will they do about that matter.

 

 

 

It is money involved 

 

 

 

How i wish they won't ask money from loan sharks who's very aggressive one.

 

 

 

Then someone knocked on the door and i shouted to signal her to come in.

 

 

 

" Girl, it's valentines. Why are you locking yourself in there " Jisoo said

 

 

 

 

" I just took photos earlier, give me a break and work on it " i said

 

 

 

Then she walk towards me and pull me out of the room.

 

 

 

" What the hell Jisoo? "

 

 

 

" I'm not saying about the work for the event, I'm saying that you go and participate not as a Editor and Chief but as a student " 

 

 

 

 

 

Though Jisoo is thin like a paper, she still managed to pull me from my chair.

 

 

 

 

 

" You're not going enter this office until tomorrow, go have fun " Jisoo said as she tap my shoulder and go back inside.

 

 

 

 

And when she closed the office door. There's was this printed paper in the door that says

 

 

 

 

 

EDITOR IN CHIEF IS NOT ON DUTY. 

 

 

 

What???

 

 

 

 

I feel betrayed now.

 

 

 

And now what will i do?

 

 

 

I have no class.

 

 

 

 

Everyone was busy celebrating valentines.

 

 

 

And here i am.

 

 

 

 

Just alone.

 

 

 

 

 

I sighed and just leave the school where everyone is celebrating the day.

 

 

 

 

The sun was about to set also.

 

 

 

 

So maybe i can go home early?

 

 

 

 

But then my stomach groaned.

 

 

 

" Was trying my best to go home early to ignore this day but you're not even cooperating buddy " i said as i look at my stomach

 

 

 

There was this diner actually that i keep on going because of the bacon and fries.

 

 

 

And when i enter the diner, there were lots of people who was there to eat.

 

 

 

Almost don't have dates actually.

 

 

 

" Bobby, i think there's a lot of customer you have here " i said as i put my bag on the table and look around.

 

 

 

" Even the owner is bitter actually, look at that " then Bobby pointed something in the wall with his lips

 

 

 

So i turned around and saw it.

 

 

 

" Discounts for Singles anf Heartbroken? What does that mean? " i laughed

 

 

 

" The owner actually got rejected so he's celebrating v day just like you " he said as he wipes the glasses and plates

 

 

 

 

" I think i should avail the promo too, Strawberry milkshake and Bacon&Fries then " 

 

 

 

 

" Roger that! " 

 

 

 

 

Then Bobby go to the kitchen and start cooking and i left alone on there.

 

 

 

I get my phone and just look around in the social media but then it realky stings in the eye to see these cringey photos like idk but it's annoying for me.

 

 

 

 

" Bobby, can you get me a fish and chips please? " 

 

 

 

 

Then i look at the person in my right.

 

 

 

 

" Jennie? "

 

 

 

 

" Sup "

 

 

 

 

" You don't have a date?" i asked

 

 

 

She frowned and laughed.

 

 

 

" Why are you going to sign up? " 

 

 

 

I smirked.

 

 

 

" What if i am? Am i qualified? "

 

 

 

 

Then she was smirking also anf answered

 

 

 

 

" In your dreams "

 

 

 

 

So i acted like i was hurt and show it to her.

 

 

 

" Ouch that hurts " then i laughed.

 

 

 

 

" No wonder no one wants to date you because you keep on eating in here " Jennie said

 

 

 

I frowned.

 

 

 

" Howd you know? "

 

 

 

 

" I assume? "

 

 

 

 

Then i smirked.

 

 

 

" Are you stalking me? " i asked

 

 

 

" No, Lisa. I am not " she answered seriously

 

 

 

 

" Then you like me? " i laughed

 

 

 

 

" God Lisa, how can you be like this " she gasp

 

 

" I'll stop then " i laughed.

 

 

 

 

" Ugh thank you " she said

 

 

 

 

" Your welcome? " i laughed 

 

 

 

Bobby then serve us our orders and we start eating.

 

 

 

 

" They kicked me out of the office actually " i said

 

 

 

 

" They kicked me out in the theatre also " Jennie answered and sighed.

 

 

 

 

" Why? " i asked

 

 

 

 

" They asked me to enjoy the day "

 

 

 

 

I can relate now.

 

 

 

 

" Same, it's ridiculous cause i end up getting kicked out to date but here i am eating and will go home after " 

 

 

 

Jennie then looked at me and look kinda disappointed.

 

 

 

" I have two tickets in the ferris wheel, my mom and i was about to ride it tonight but she have extra night shift so it's a waste " 

 

 

 

 

" Want me to accompany you? " i asked

 

 

 

 

" You don't have friends to hang out with? " she asked

 

 

 

" Nah, im a loser " i laughed.

 

 

 

" Tell me your not going to kill me " Jennie glared

 

 

 

 

" I won't and why would i " i sighed and rolled my eyes.

 

 

 

" I never rode a ferris wheel before actually "

 

 

 

 

" You suddenly became soft, Lisa. Did you take drugs or what? " Jennie asked

 

 

 

" I'll buy snacks then after " 

 

 

 

 

" You're going to poison me, are you? " Jennie asked

 

 

 

" God, Jennie. Why are you even thinking of me killing you??? " i asked 

 

 

 

" Idk, maybe you will? "

 

 

 

 

" God, No. I don't kill people woman " I said

 

 

 

Then she looked at me and i was shooking my head.

 

 

 

" If you don't want to then i'll just go home " i said

 

 

 

Jennie take a sip of her milkshake and sighed.
