Chapter 6

The Transfer Student

[Hoseok had an array of emotions hit him when he finally looked at her. It was as if God knew that he was in such terrible shape that he sent an angel for him. He'd never seen her there before and so he figured she might be a new worker. After finally composing himself he was able to tell her his order which had been brought to him soon after. As he ate, his darkened thoughts had clouded his vision; Jimin had clouded his vision. All he could think about was how Jimin no longer needed him, he no longer wanted him, he... he no longer loved him and it hurt. He wanted to something else, he didn't want to see Jimin every time he opened and closed his eyes. Time had passed and more time had passed. Hoseok had barely noticed that he was now the only customer... The last customer. What he didn't noticed was how someone had been sitting across from him; he didn't know how long but they had definitely been sitting there awhile. When he looked up, he saw that it was the waitress. She wasn't wearing her uniform anymore, weird.]

Waitress: *leaning her chin on her hand* How come you look so sad?

Hoseok: Huh?

Waitress: You look sad, you've been like that since you got here. What happened?

Hoseok: It's nothing... *looks around* I should pay for this *reaching for his wallet*

Waitress: No need, it's on the house. I figured a guy like you could use a free meal today.

Hoseok: A guy like me?

Waitress: Heartbroken...

Hoseok: Who are you?

Waitress: *smiles* My name is Cora, you?

Hoseok: Hoseok... My name is Hoseok.

Cora: Well Hoseok... Wanna tell me what's got you so down?

[He hadn't expected it but he told her everything he was feeling at that moment. He just needed someone to listen to him pour his heart out. His talk consisted of him insisting that he wasn't worthy of love, he cried a lot and then kept crying to which Cora had gotten out of her seat and hugged him. As she held him, she only reassured him that everything would be okay, he would be okay, and that he was worthy of love and a whole lot more. After awhile, they finally left the restaurant and went their separate ways.]

*****

[Two months had passed since that last morning all of the guys were together. That was also the last time Jimin had spoken to Hoseok. He only ever saw him in their dance class but there was never any conversation. It felt wrong and Jimin didn't know what to do. In the first week, he could tell that Hoseok had been extremely affected by what had happened. By the second week, the man seemed back to his old self again... Just without Jimin in his life. Besides that, Jimin was happy... He was with the one whom his heart belonged to. They saw each other pretty much everyday except for when they got really busy. Every moment they spent together was pure paradiseparadise and Jimin was so happy, Yoongi was happy too even though he didn't express it often. Yoongi had recently been working as a producer at a company known as BigHit. His romance with Jimin helped him to compose and produce better songs filled with the emotion he struggled to express.

Namjoon and Jin had moved to a new place, it was actually even closer to everyone else than their previous apartment. Jin's parents had given him some annual "allowance" so the two of them decided to get a small house but big enough that they would be able to host their friends when they'd come visit. Jin had been getting more and more recognition from the university for his culinary talents, but his parents were still on the fence about what he wanted to do. Namjoon, being the intellectual he was, had finally been issued a couple clients for his final psychology project. He had hoped to open up his own practice if he could but was more than willing to work underneath someone until that plan came to light.

Taehyung and Jungkook had become an unstoppable force within the art department. Jungkook had finally entered into a few competitions and and increased the school's reputation for the better. He hung out with some other friends he had met, but he knew that none of them compared to Taehyung and his friends. Despite everyone seemingly doing their own thing, Jungkook made sure to hang out with everyone and knew what was going on with all of them. Him and Taehyung had made an agreement to have at least one date per week to coincide with their busy schedules. Since Jungkook preferred to work in the art studio, he wouldn't get home until way late at night which sometimes made Taehyung a little lonely since Jimin would spend most nights with Yoongi. Taehyung was venturing off into more art concepts instead of just sticking with flowers, trees, and other beauties in nature. After he had painted Jungkook that one time, he secretly kept on drawing him when he was alone but he was also becoming even more expressive with his artwork. He started to take on commissions from people and painting countless portraits. It was a lot of work, but Taehyung always felt excited when he got something new to work on. And he also had the most supportive boyfriend ever so that was a plus.

Hoseok spent all of his time in his classes, the dance studio, and his favorite ramen shop. He even went there when he wasn't hungry just so he could see Cora. After the first time they had met and how she had patiently listened while he poured his heart out, he realized that he really liked talking to her. He liked spending his free time with her even if they didn't hang out outside of where she worked. He had her number at least so they would text pretty often, but he realized that he didn't really know that much about her and now that was starting to bother him. She didn't seem like one to just talk about herself so he was internally beating himself up on the inside because he hadn't even asked about her, what she liked, what she didn't like, where she went to school, et cetera. Goddammit Hoseok what the hell? Could he truly call her his friend if he didn't even know when her birthday was or what her favorite color happened to be? That would change today, he knew that much as he marched into the shop and sat at his usual table.]

Cora: *comes up to the table a few minutes later with the cup of tea he always orders and smiles* Hey Hoseok, you're here earlier than usual.

Hoseok: *smiles* I finished my paper that was due so I figured I'd treat myself.

Cora: *nods* You want the usual?

Hoseok: Yes please

Cora: Okay *about to walk away*

Hoseok: Hey Cora...?

Cora: Yeah?

Hoseok: When do you get off of work today? Er... Well... When do you have free time?

Cora: Today I get off at 6, why?

Hoseok: Well... I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out, like outside of this place? *rubs the back of his neck*

Cora: *smiles* Sure, we can do that, hey I gotta go now though. I'll bring your food in a bit, okay?

Hoseok: Okay *watches her leave and go tend to other tables*

[As this was happening, Hoseok didn't know about the feelings that were stirring inside of him. He didn't know what they meant and just ignored the feeling because... he felt good inside. Soon enough she returned with his food and filled him with the warmth he didn't know he'd been missing.

Meanwhile...

Jungkook had taken the day to visit some animal shelters. This dog had to be perfect, it had to be one that Taehyung wanted too. So when he asked the lady at the front desk for a specific dog, the answer was finally yes. She brought out this small puffball... That had four legs and a face and Jungkook could feel himself melting in its gaze already.]

Jungkook: Oh my god, it's so cute.

Lady: Well it's one of our newer pups, he has some minor medical issues but for the most part, he's as happy as can be.

Jungkook: I want him *starts petting the little dog while the lady is getting all of the paperwork*

Lady: Gift for a girlfriend?

Jungkook: *looks at her and smiles* Boyfriend actually

Lady: Oh...

Jungkook: *suddenly feels like he's being judged*

Lady: *smiles* Well, I'm sure he'll love this little guy *hands him the documents*

Jungkook: *just blinks when taking the papers and signing them* Oh um, thank you *starts getting the dog in the pet taxi* Your name is gonna be Yeontan *bids the woman farewell before heading back to the dorm*

[He had already made all the necessary preparations for the little pup which Taehyung had no idea about. This was a surprise, and for what special occasion? There wasn't one. Jungkook just loved him that much that he would randomly go out and search endlessly for the puppy Taehyung always wanted. When he got back he could hear Tae in his room complaining about his artwork again, so he sat Yeontan down by the door before going to his boyfriend's room. ]

Jungkook: Tae? *knocks and opens the door*

Tae: Oh, hey Jungkook! *gets up and kisses him*

Jungkook: You good? I thought I heard you bullying your artwork again

Tae: Oh no, I was watching a drama and there's this hoe in there that is just so annoying. I was bullying her *frowns*

Jungkook: *smiles* Well... I have something to show you

Tae: Hm?

Jungkook: *grabs his hand and leads him to the front room before letting go and opening the small crate by the door*

[A little Yeontan runs out of the taxi and looks up at Jungkook before running over to Taehyung and barking]

Tae: Wha...? Who?... *kneels down and pets him*

Jungkook: Meet Kim Yeontan! *flashes his bunny smile at him*

Tae: Kim... Yeontan?... *picks up the dog and hugs him before starting to cry*

Jungkook: Oh no *sits in front of you* Tae, don't cry. It's okay *wiping his eyes* Baby, why are you crying?

Tae: Because he's so cute! A-And... You got him for me!

Jungkook: Aw Tae *hugs his side and kisses his cheek* Of course I would get him for you~

Tae: Thank you so much, I really don't deserve you *sniffles*

Jungkook: *just continues to smile* Love you~

*Yeontan barks*

Tae: Tannie~ let's go play, hm? *nuzzles his cute little nose*

[Jungkook and Taehyung took the rest of the afternoon to have some special bonding time with Yeontan.]

*****

[Most of Jin's classes had to do with cooking and many of them took place in numerous kitchens. As much as he loved cooking, it was a lot of work but he wouldn't have it any other way. While devoting all of his attention to his current masterpiece he was creating, he heard his name called to the front by the head chef. After being directed into the hallway, he was met with his two parents dressed in their expensive suits. His mother stood face to face with him while his father was a foot away on his cell phone; probably working as usual. ]

Mother: Seokjin, your father and I have something to discuss with you. It's important.

Jin: It must not be that important if he's on the phone working right now *nods over at him*

Mother: *turns around* Honey, it can wait for a few minutes please?

Father: *nods and gets off the phone before greeting Jin* Hello, son

Jin: You two can follow me *starts walking to one of the nearby empty classrooms* What is it that you two want to talk about? Let me guess... It's about the company again isn't it?

Mother: We still think that you're making a mistake by being here. I mean... A cook? Seriously? You're so much more than that

[Jin couldn't believe these words he was hearing. Actually he could believe it, he just didn't want to.]

Father: You have thirty days to make a final decision about whether you will come back home with us and work at the company. I want you to take over for me once in awhile, I know you would do a great job.

Jin: But you guys... *sighs* Mom, Dad, I don't want to work at the company. I don't want to be a CEO. If I'm gonna be a CEO, I'd rather be in charge of my own restaurant; be in charge of my own food and recipes. I love cooking and yeah it's hard work but I love it. I'm never bored. I would die of boredom if I was with you two.

Mother: Look, we also have a candidate... A woman for you to marry, her father is the head of another friendly company of ours and we'd like to finally come together-

Jin: Do you hear yourself? Did you even hear what I said? And now you're talking about an arranged marriage?

Father: If you decide to decline our offer, we will be forced to withdraw our finances from your education.

Jin: *scoffs* No one is forcing you to do that, you're deciding that yourself. *gets up* It's fine, I don't need your money anyways

Mother: Seokjin, we love you. We're doing this for your own good-

Jin: Spare me the lies please... We all know that you two don't love me. It's just business... It's always just been business *leaves them alone in the classroom and goes back to his class*

*****

[Once 6pm had came along, Hoseok was waiting for Cora outside the restaurant. He was so nervous and couldn't figure out why, she was just a friend and they were going to hang out. Once she came out of the restaurant, he gave her a smile so bright that you could feel his happiness bursting out of him.]

Hoseok: Hey! How was work?

Cora: Hmm, same old same old, it wasn't bad though *smiles*

Hoseok: So I have to ask, do you like skating?

Cora: Um... What kind of skating?

Hoseok: Like roller skating...

Cora: I like it but I've never done it before. Wait, are we going skating? *getting excited*

Hoseok: *laughs* Well only if you want to.

Cora: *nods excitedly* Do you know how to skate?

Hoseok: Yeah, I can get around. My friend Namjoon is way better than me at it though.

Cora: Ohhhh

Hoseok: I hope you don't mind, but I figured we'd walk there?

Cora: I don't mind at all, the weather's nice today.

[As they're walking, Hoseok sees this as the perfect opportunity to question Cora in order to get to know her better. He just hoped he wouldn't come off too weird.]

Hoseok: Um, so... I wanted to know... Like how old are you?

Cora: *surprised at the sudden question* Uh, I'm 23...almost 24.

Hoseok: Is your birthday coming up?

Cora: Yeah, why?

Hoseok: Oh, I just... Well, I'd love to do something for you if you'd let me. You've... Kinda been a really big help to me these past couple months... *rubs the back of my neck* and I feel bad that I don't know much about you

Cora: Oh... Well I've got a couple months so you have plenty of time *giggles* Sorry  I never said anything, I'm just not used to talking about myself. But... I'll make an exception for you so ask away~

Hoseok: What, really? It won't be too much?

Cora: No, of course not. I'm just not gonna say anything unless you ask though.

Hoseok: *nods* Okay so... Um you're almost 24, are you in school still or...?

Cora: Nah, I'm at school. I'm a grad student right now and then... I'll be heading off to med school.

Hoseok: Holy , you're so smart! I mean-oh my god, I'm sorry, that was...

Cora: A compliment. I'll take it. Alright, next question.

Hoseok: Okay, okay um... I'll save that convo for another time. What's your favorite color or colors?

Cora: Hmm, I like purple a lot and blue too.

Hoseok: Cool, cool um... Favorite food?

Cora: Gosh, I love all good but I think pizza has to be my favorite. I eat too much of it, I think *laughs*

Hoseok: Nothing wrong with that. Pizza is great *smiles* Oh look, we're here!

Cora: Whoa, I never knew this place existed. *being lead inside*

[Hoseok paid for the couple hours they'd spend there, as well as their skates. As they were getting ready to head to the skating rink, they bumped into two people Hoseok never thought he'd even see at a place like this. Jimin was just as surprised seeing Hoseok... He could also see that he was with a girl. Is she a friend? Is she his girlfriend? Yoongi seemed slightly surprised but otherwise was happy to see that Hoseok was okay.]

Jimin: Um... H-Hi Hoseok...

Hoseok:  ... *just turns around and walks away*

Cora: Wait, Hoseok! *tries to go after him without falling*

Hoseok: I'm sorry, I didn't know... They... He...

Cora: Was that him? Jimin?

Hoseok: *looks at you and nods*

*Yoongi and Jimin were still standing by the entrance looking a little dumbfounded*

Cora: *sighs* Come on, you don't see him often anyways... Saying hi wouldn't hurt. You totally left him hanging just now.

Hoseok: But Cora you know...

Cora: I get it, I get that you're still healing. But I'm here with you... I'm here to have fun with you. Just greet them and go about your business *shrugs*

Hoseok: *hugs her* You're right. Thanks Cora...

Yoongi: *notices Jimin tense up watching the interaction* *puts his hand on his shoulder* You okay?

Jimin: Yeah, I'm fine *gains his composure when they come back*

Hoseok: *clears my throat and smiles* Hey Jimin, Yoongi...

Yoongi: *nods* Hey

Hoseok: I'm guessing Jimin dragged you here? There's no way you'd willingly come here *laughs*

Yoongi: *smiles* Yeah, he wanted me to get some exercise I guess *looks over at Cora who's been getting stared down by Jimin* *sticks his hand out* I'm Yoongi

Cora: *shakes his hand* Nice to meet you. I'm Cora *smiles and then goes to shake Jimin's hand*

Jimin: *just looks at it and then her* Let's go skate Yoongi... *walks off to the skating rink*

Yoongi: Yikes...

Cora: *retracts my hand awkwardly*

Hoseok: Yoongi, what the hell is his deal?

Yoongi: He's probably upset that you don't talk to him or return his texts.

Hoseok: Well why hasn't he gotten a hint during the first week? I didn't want to talk to him.

Yoongi: Okay, well that was in the past. What about now? It's been two months...

Hoseok: I'm getting better, okay? Geez... And he doesn't have to be rude to Cora if he's upset with me then *grabs her hand and heads to the skating rink* Watch your step

Cora: Oh whoa *starts to roll around sporadically* *uses both of her hands to hold onto Hoseok*

Hoseok: Hey it's okay, I got you *holding both of her hands* I promise I won't let you go *smiles*

Cora: *nods* Okay, okay... I'm okay *notices Jimin from across the rink and frowns*

Hoseok: Alright, try to stand up all the way, okay? Slowly...

Cora: O-Okay *tries to stand up and loses my footing again and wraps my arms around Hoseok* Ahh!

Hoseok: *laughing and holding onto her while they're just skating in the middle of the rink* I got you, I promise. Here, I'll help you out a little bit

Cora: Uh I don't know...

Hoseok: It's okay *lifts her up so she's standing all the way up and holds her arms firmly* See? You're standing up!

Cora: Oh my god, I feel like a baby learning to walk *laughs*

Hoseok: Well at least you're a cute baby.

Cora: *blushes and looks away*

Hoseok: *notices his mistake* Um, here just hold onto my arm and I'll skate for us, okay?

Cora: Okay... *hooks her arm with his*

[Meanwhile...]

Yoongi: Jimin can you stop staring into her soul?

Jimin: I'm not staring into her soul *skating around the outside of the rink with Yoongi*

Yoongi: You haven't said a word, you've only been watching the two of them. You're not paying attention to me at all and you're the one who dragged me here.

Jimin: *snaps out of it and looks at him* You're right... I'm sorry Yoongi. *kisses his cheek* I just... He's found someone else; someone to replace me.

Yoongi: She's not a replacement. She seems like a nice girl; Hoseok is happy.

Jimin: But I used to make him happy...

Yoongi: Wow, okay. I'm not trying to make a scene or anything but do you hear yourself? I'm starting to think you're having regrets.

Jimin: What? No, Yoongi I'm not. I love you, I just...

Yoongi: What? You just still love him too? Please enlighten me Jimin... Tell me that I haven't wasted two months with you.

Jimin: *starting to panic and about to cry* No, no you didn't waste anything. I don't love him like that, I'm just being stupid and jealous. I just want to talk to him...

Yoongi: *sighs* Then just talk to him

Jimin: Yoongi, he ignores all of my messages-

Yoongi: Go to him right now then. You're right here and he's right there. Talk to him.

Jimin: *looks over at him being so happy with Cora* Okay... *skates over to them* Hey Hoseok... Can we talk? I won't be long... I promise.

Hoseok: *glances at Cora* Um...

Cora: You should... *nudges him* I'll be fine *smiles*

Hoseok: *nods and looks at Jimin* Okay, let's go somewhere more quiet then?

Jimin: Sure *follows after him*

Cora: *trying to make my way to the railing along the edge of the rink; failing miserably*

Yoongi: Ah... *skates over to her* Come on, let me help you *holds out his hand*

Cora: *smiles and takes his hand* Thank you.

[Hoseok and Jimin went outside and sat on a nearby bench. There was an awkwardness that remained between the two, neither one of them knowing what to say first.]

Jimin: So... Um...

Hoseok: Just ask what you've been wanting to ask since you've seen me...

Jimin: Well... There's so much I want to ask you but I guess I'll just start with more recent events. Is she your girlfriend?

Hoseok: No, she's not. She's just a a really good friend of mine.

Jimin: How long have you been friends with her?

Hoseok: For about two months now. She's been helping me... With you and the Yoongi situation. I think I'm better now, I was just really surprised earlier. Sorry I reacted that way...

Jimin: *shakes his head* It's okay... I'm really glad to see you Hoseok. This entire time I had no idea how you were doing. Everyone's been worried about you. But you don't look like I expected you to look...

Hoseok: What do you mean?

Jimin: You look happy, but still lonely?

Hoseok: *scoffs* Why is it that you know me so well?

Jimin: *shrugs* I've spent a lot of time with you Hoseok... She makes you happy... Doesn't she?

Hoseok: *smiles to himself while thinking about Cora* Yeah. She does... I want everyone to meet her, but you, Yoongi hyung and I...

Jimin: Look, I want to be your friend again. I want to be able to call you up to go out and eat or something. I want to dance with you again... I miss you, Hobi...

Hoseok: *sighs and wraps an arm around his shoulders* Yeah, I miss you too. We can be friends, but not like last time.

Jimin: Of course! I'm with Yoongi now... I'm happy with him but that doesn't mean I don't still think about you everyday. Seeing you leave me on read hurt a lot and when I saw her I figured that's why you were ignoring me, so I got jealous.

Hoseok: *chuckles* You get jealous so easily. All is forgiven...

Jimin: *smiles* Yup, all is forgiven. Oh my god! I can't wait to catch you up on everything, but I've already kept you away from your date for too long

Hoseok: She's not... It's not a date Jimin.

Jimin: Keep denying yourself Hobi, but I know you and I know the way you look at her. You used to look at me like that *smiles*

Hoseok: I... Whatever, it's too soon anyways.

Jimin: *gets up* Come on, we're all gonna hang out together. I need to apologize to her anyways *walking back into the skating rink*

[As Jimin and Hoseok were walking back in the skating rink, they immediately noticed Yoongi and Cora sitting at a table laughing and talking together.]

Hoseok: Looks like they're getting along well.

Jimin: See? You have to introduce her to everyone now *walks up to them* Hey guys

Cora: *smile kinda falters and she looks down at the table*

Yoongi: You two make up?

Hoseok: Yeah, we did. You and I cool?

Yoongi: Duh *smiles*

Jimin: Hey um Cora?... *rubbing the back of his neck*

Cora: *looks at him*

Jimin: I'm sorry I was so rude earlier. I'm Jimin *holds his hand out*

Cora: *shakes his hand and smiles* I know... And apology accepted.

Yoongi: Alright now, we can go skate.

Jimin: Why are you so excited about it now?

Yoongi: Maybe because I got a new friend to skate with *sticks his tongue out at Jimin*

Jimin: *holds his heart* I'm so hurt.

Cora: *giggles* You guys should totally go without me! I'm terrible.

Hoseok: No, no, no I'm gonna teach you. Come on.

Cora: Ah, okay, okay.

[Maybe it was fate. Maybe Hoseok and Cora were supposed to run into the other couple. Otherwise, how long would it be until Hoseok and Jimin met again? With them making up, everything was back on its course. Yoongi, Jimin, and Hoseok were already planning for when Cora should meet the other guys. They all skated together once Cora was finally able to stand by herself. While being with Cora, Hoseok would have to catch himself from staring too long or hiding his smile from her; Maybe Jimin was right. Even Yoongi could see it and would nudge Jimin everytime he noticed. Cora was happy that Hoseok had finally made up with his friends, but she couldn't shake the feeling that maybe she wouldn't get to see him as much. I mean... They had only met because he was upset after seemingly losing his friends. In other words, she felt that maybe she wasn't needed anymore.]

*****

[When Jin had returned home, Namjoon immediately noticed that something was wrong. He waited patiently to see if maybe Jin's mood would change suddenly but there was nothing. He passed by Namjoon in the living room and went into his room without a word. It was times like these that made Namjoon suddenly panic; they were very rare times though. So with that, he did the only thing he thought would work and closed his book before heading to Jin's room. He lightly knocked on his door and listened for any movement inside and heard a soft "come in" before entering.]

Namjoon: Hyung, what's wrong? *sits next to him on the bed*

Jin: *sighs* It's my parents. They want me to go back home and help them with the stupid company.

Namjoon: I thought they gave up last year...

Jin: Obviously not, they brought their crusty asses to the school all dressed in their stupid suits and told me to my face that if I don't go back home in thirty days that they were gonna cut me off *scoffs* Practically disown me because I want to cook and that's not good enough for them! Like nothing is good enough for them... I'm not good enough, I never have been, and I never will *wipes a stray tear off his cheek*

Namjoon: Hyung... That's really messed up of them. And... You're more than enough, trust me. You have me, you have all of our annoying friends, and you have cooking. I think you just need the few things that matter to you and you'll be okay. You're Kim Seokjin for crying out loud. If your parents can't be proud of everything that you've accomplished well... They don't deserve you. You're amazing and you're like a brother to me.

Jin: *looks at him and smiles* Thanks Namjoon, but I still don't know what to do. I'm not going back home which means, they're gonna stop paying my tuition and that's not good. That's a lot of money, I only have so much stashed away, but I'm not sure if it'll cover everything...

Namjoon: Hmm... We'll think of something and I'll help you, I promise.

Jin: Oh no, you've already got a lot that you're doing. I'll figure something out...

Namjoon: Jin...

Jin: *gets up* Are you hungry? I'll cook us something good *smiles and goes to the kitchen*

Namjoon: That guy... *sighs and goes back to the living room* Do you want any help?

Jin: No! You know the kitchen is off limits, I don't want you to accidentally kill the entire neighborhood.

Namjoon: Jin!~ That's so mean... But you right *continues reading his book*

*****

[After a long afternoon of playing with Yeontan and ultimately failing at trying to teach him a couple tricks, Taehyung was beat and so was Yeontan. They had decided to watch a movie on Jungkook's laptop and Taehyung ended up passing out on his bed. Yeontan was snuggled up against his face and Jungkook was pretty sure that Taehyung couldn't breathe so he picked Yeontan up and took him out to the kitchen to feed him before taking him out for a little walk in hopes that he'd do his business. Once he got back, he went to his room to see that Taehyung was still sleeping and put Yeontan on the floor near his bed to which the little pup had spun around a few times before settlinf down to sleep. Jungkook didn't really want to wake Taehyung up, so he quietly got into bed and pulled him into his arms. He thought the man was asleep, but he couldn't be more wrong.]

Tae: *mumbles in Jungkook's chest* Thanks for today Kookie.

Jungkook: *smiles* You're awake?

Tae: Nope, I'm completely dead.

Jungkook: *chuckles* You're welcome Tae. I know you've been wanting a puppy for awhile now.

Tae: *leans up and kisses his neck* I love you, Jungkook.

Jungkook: *shifts a bit so that he can see Taehyung's face better* I love you too Tae *leans down and kisses him*

Tae: *smiles sleepily before snuggling up against him more*

Jungkook: Such a sleepy boy *smiles before letting sleep take over him*

*****

[After exchanging hugs and numbers, Hoseok and Cora waved as Jimin and Yoongi drove off.]

Hoseok: Let's get you home shall we?

Cora: Oh, you don't have to Hoseok. You've already done a lot today, I'm sure you're tired.

Hoseok: Eh, what kind of guy would I be if I let you go off by yourself. I'm gonna make sure you make it back safely, okay?

Cora: *smiles* Okay, then.

[They walked back to the ramen restaurant where Hoseok had left his car and he drove her home. They continued to talk until they pulled up in front of her house.]

Hoseok: Whoa... You're rich rich!

Cora: Ah, it's um... Yeah, it's kind of a lot. *gets out the car and hears another door shut* What are you doing?

Hoseok: I'm walking you to your front door silly *smiles* Come on *walks her to the front door*

Cora: Well... Thank you for tonight. I had a lot of fun. *smiles*

Hoseok: Yeah, I did too. I'm glad we were able to finally get you on your feet. *laughs*

Cora: *giggles* It was all thanks to you. And... I'm glad everything worked out with Jimin and Yoongi.

Hoseok: I probably would've left if you hadn't snapped some sense into me, so thank you. Thank you for everything you've done for me Cora... I really appreciate you and I...

Cora: *feeling herself get excited* Yeah?

Hoseok: I'm really glad we're friends. *smiles*

[Cora would be lying if she didn't say she was heartbroken just then. Friends? Of course... She let herself get too attached to someone too quickly. She falls for people so easily only to have it backfire. Regardless of how she was feeling on the inside, she made sure to give Hoseok the biggest smile.]

Cora: Of course, that's what friends are for right? I'm glad I met you.

Hoseok: *gives her a hug* We should definitely hang out more.

Cora: *trying to hold back her tears* Yeah, we should. Um well, I should get inside.

Hoseok: Of course, goodnight Cora.

Cora: Night, Hoseok. *goes inside and runs up to her room where she lets everything fall*

[What the most about this is that, Cora already knew who Hoseok was before that fateful day he showed up where she worked. She's known him since high school. She obviously looked way different back then and pretty much had the glo up the century. But...that still wasn't enough. She's still just as invisible as she was in high school. She had a major crush on him and has learned that it's still just as fresh as ever. He had broken her heart then and now it seemed like he was doing it for a second time. Cora had brown hair in high school, she wore giant glasses and got bullied. Hoseok happened to be there when she was getting bullied by a group of girls and he saved her, so being the sensitive girl she was... She immediately fell for him. And now here she was... Being friendzoned by her long time high school crush. She had no idea it would hurt this bad...]

Cora: *laying on her bed* You've done it again...

Aha, I have finished another chapter. For some reason I was actually stuck on chapter 5, and couldn't figure out what to do, but I did it!

Chapter 4: Whaaaattttttt... this is so intense babe!! So jimin is oblivious to yoongi feeling.. i mean even hobi can see it thru. And damn.. is hobi really has no one he in love with?? Why he was so cool telling taekook about him knowing bout yoongi feeling and all. But yet he too oblivious just like jimin.

P/s: taekook is freaking adorable here. I kept on smiling now XD

Chapter 3: Awwww.. the ending is perfect!! I love how they tried to be friend first and not rushing things to be in a relationship.. and the fact they just keep on falling deeper to each other was worth it. I was curious about the triangle love of yoonminseok. And the way jin nervous when kookie mention joonie bed was suspicious af. Cant wait for next chapter.. <3

Chapter 3: I love how you didn't try to make a lot of unnecessary drama. Coz sometimes, life is flat with not too much bump in every road we take. And this story is beautiful *hwaiting
