A loud knock suddenly woke her up from her slumber. “Wake up! Come on look what happen to....” Hera stares with fear as she looked at the woman whom she love the most. The woman eyes were bloodshot red. Her beautiful pale face was now covered in tears. “Don’t worry about me, Im okay” She said. Hera was about to reply until..“Go back to your room. There’s nothing wrong here” The other person said cutting her off. Then the door shut in front of her. She stood there confused. Her 14 year old self telling her that it was going to be okay.   It was Friday, December 24th. Dark circles was starting to show under her eyes. Ever since that one day, her sleep was never peaceful nor her mind. Hera got out of bed and head over to the bathroom, doing what she’s been doing everyday. Then later, she head out to the kitchen. Hera was living all alone in her penthouse. It was too big and lonely for her. But her Mother insists on buying her a spacious and comfortable house. She agreed reluctantly. After having breakfast, she decided to be productive today. She paired her white sweater with a high-waisted black jeans. Since its cold outside she top it off with a long navy blue coat. She smiled at the mirror thinking how she still have a sense of fashion even on her last day. She took one last glance on everything. Trying to remember every little happy moments she once had. With one final glance she locked her door. Eventually, she got out of the apartment complex and decided to take the subway.   After arriving at her destination, she let her memories lead her. Along the walk, she half smile half cried while remembering all the happy moments were made in the very same place. The place was nothing special really but it was the memories all along. When its noon, she take her lunch on her favorite place. The cafe wasn’t even that fancy. Just a small business run by an elderly couple. The place made her feel like home whithout being in home. The atmosphere was everything she need. Her favorite spot, was by the window because maybe if there is one thing that she appreciate, it is the quiet, the simplicity, the peacefulness of everyday life that happens before her.    Hera was out on her own little adventure she even forgot what her intention was in the first place. She watch as the sky turns into a shade of violet meaning its almost night. On her way home, she cried once again. Nowadays, Its like all she know how to do is cry. Nobody around her notices though. Her legs took her to a place she’s familiar with. She look up as she saw her apartment building stood up high. The snow was starting to fall little by little. The coldness of the snow that touches her now stained face startled her. She took a long deep breath trying to calm her mind. By now everything seems pointless to her. “whats the point of living anyway..”   she thought to herself. Sighing,    “..I thought i was getting better, But i was wrong..These days i feel so dead. Im not sure if its the lack of sleep or what. But for sure ive been more tired than this but i never felt so dead. The feelings, the thoughts that used to haunt me back in the days came back once again, to haunt me more..”   By now she was talking to herself.   As she stares at the ground, a pair of worn out converse was visible to keep her leather boots company. She was about to look at the owner of the shoes but suddenly a handkerchief was handed to her. Finally the guy spoke,   “Whatever that you feel right now will go away soon and i promise you that. It might take awhile but everyone heal eventually”   With that he walk away. His back was now facing her.
