August 26, 2014 was the day he met her, the day that would go down in his history as the day his life changed, because she changed it.

Jungkook was always shy around girls. He never knew how to act or what to say to them and in one moment of his life he didn’t even care about them because he never found any girl interesting enough. But then he met “her, a girl just like the sun. Always bright and with enough light to share to the world and fill him up inside.

He already knew who she was. He remembered their trainee days when they were all watching TV and came across “Kpop Star” and how they were all mesmerized by that cute small girl with very powerful vocals. He remembered how she was a hit in the whole country and how everyone was talking about her. He remembered that even Taehyun couldn’t shut up about her saying how could she be so cute but have that voice at the same time and how she admired her too. He remembered he admired her too and that he knew that girl was going to get far in life.

When he finally met her in After School Club she was everything he expected and more. Bubbly but warm, loud but soft. And after spending an hour with her in that show he decided that he wanted to see more of her, he wanted to know about what she likes, what she’s scared of, he wanted to know everything there is to know about her.

He couldn’t focus on the whole show thanks to her, his mind was all over the place, but the last 30 minutes he was completely out of it thinking what could he do or what could he say to get her number. Once the show ended he was a mess, he was sweating and even though he wasn’t talking he knew that if he did he would definitely stutter.

Everyone was getting ready to leave, this was his last chance to get her number, only God knew how long would it be until they saw each other again so he couldn’t afford to miss on this opportunity. So he gathered enough courage to get in front of her, blocking her way out of the studio without previous warning which made her jump a little bit backwards due the surprise. “This is it, here I go” he thought, but no sound was coming out of his mouth.

- Oh, Jungkook-ssi – said a very surprised Jimin – What is it? Can I help you on something?

And although she got no response it was pretty obvious that he wanted to say something but was struggling.

- The show was a lot of fun, don’t you think? – she continued, hoping for an answer this time, which she got but only in the form of Jungkook nodding his head in an affirmative motion, to which she couldn’t help but laugh a little bit – You know, I found out that we’re actually the same age so why don’t we become friends and start talking to each other more com…

- YES! – Jungkook practically screamed, it was as if his tongue was tied during their whole conversation and only now he was able to release it and any sound came out as a form of a scream. He cleared his throat, trying to compose himself and repeated, more calmly this time -: Yes, I would like us to get more comfortable around each other – and he couldn’t help but divert his gaze to other part of the studio, he was too nervous to look at her eyes.

- Excellent! Then what do you say if you give me your number? That way we can get to know each other more – said Jimin, which caught him by surprise because he never thought a girl would be that bold to “make a move” first. Of course, the girl in front of him was no ordinary girl.

Three months passed on more quickly than Jungkook or Jimin ever predicted. The constant messaging and 2 A.M. calls were now something regular in their daily life’s. They couldn’t meet in person due each other’s schedules but through calls and messages they learned more about each other that way than they ever did about anyone else.

As soon as she read that message her heart seemed to stop for a few seconds to then continue beating at a way higher pace than before. What is going on? Jungkook never got that serious with her before. What would he want to tell her? Her mind was all over the place. “I bet it will be just a prank” she thought to herself. “He’s been hanging around with Bambam and Yugyeom lately so I bet they convinced him to prank me” she continued while walking from one corner to the other of her room. “Maybe he doesn’t want to talk to me anymore and he thinks it would be better if he tells me that in person…” and as soon as that thought appeared in her mind she felt she could instantly cry “Yeah, that seems more probable. Who would want to be friends with a girl like me anyways…”

She decided not to put more thought into that, she was nervous enough already so she started getting dressed. It was 6 P.M. but she still had to take a shower, put on make-up and choose her clothes so she had to start now.

After two hours that seemed like forever to her, she was finally ready. She opted for a simple blouse and black shorts, if there was something about her physic that she actually liked was her legs so she always tried to accentuate them. She wore black heels with the outfit since she was short so heels were practically like tennis for her and she remembered that the last time Jungkook saw her was with red hair which she painted black a few weeks ago and couldn’t help but wonder if he would like that change in her.

By 8 the company car was already waiting for her outside of the dorm she shared with Ye Rin at the time. She got on it and was surprised to see her manager driving.

- Oh, oppa. You’re in on this too? - she asked but only got silence – Can you tell me what is this about? – she asked again but got the same response although that didn’t stop her from keep asking questions all the way to the company building. She was not giving up until she got an answer but her manager knew her too well to surrender.

Once they got to the JYP building Jimin finally gave up and got ready to open the door when her manager turned around and looked at her.

- Just promise me one thing, you will not let yourself get hurt by that or any boy in your life, okay? – he said with a very concerned look on his face. Her manager was actually like a father to them both Yerin and Jimin, he protected them with all of his life and always made sure they were happy and supported them when even the company didn’t. That sentence took her by surprise and since she didn’t know what was that about she only limited herself to nodding and then got out of the car.

Inside the JYP building she told herself “okay, now where?” and she thought for a moment that Jungkook must have telepathic powers because she got a message a few seconds later with just two words and one number “practice room #2” so she assumed that’s where she needed to go.

By the time she was in front of the door of the practice room a million thoughts crossed her mind and her legs stopped responding. She wanted to go inside but was too scared. Never mind if it was a prank, that would be the very best outcome. But what if he really didn’t want to be friends with her anymore? These past months have been amazing. She’s felt like she never has in her fifteen short years of life. She really REALLY liked talking to Jungkook, it was always the highlight of her day and just thinking about him parting ways from her life hurt her in unimaginable ways.

After gathering courage for a few minutes, she left everything in God’s hands and opened the door where she was received by the most beautiful sight ever.

The room was dark but the light of the candles scarred around the whole room made it perfect for her to see everything in it. By her feet there was a pathway of rose petals that led to a tall young boy dressed in a school uniform carrying a bouquet of roses.

- I-I’m sorry about the outfit – he stuttered, anyone could recognize from miles of distance that he was really nervous. Jimin, on the other hand, was completely paralyzed, still not moving a step from the door of the room – I got out from school and I had to arrange all of this so I didn’t have time to change…

He wanted to continue but didn’t know what to say. He had been rehearsing that moment for a full month now and yet, he was here, not being able to say everything he wanted to say to that beautiful girl in front of him. He had his eyes locked on his own feet, and then to the bouquet, and then diverted his gaze to a corner of the room. He looked everywhere except to the place where Jimin was. He couldn’t, he was way too nervous to do that. But then he knew this was not the time to be the teenager Jungkook that his hyungs were always making fun of, he knew that it was now or probably never, he knew that he wanted Jimin more than anything in that moment, so he gathered the courage and stared right at her and continued:

- Jimin… Ever since I met you my life has changed – he started – The mere thought of you makes my heart pound in a way that, for the first fifteen years of my life, I never knew was possible, maybe it didn’t beat at all to start with until I met you. You have filled every single empty space inside of me and when I’m not talking to you I can literally feel how my body and heart longs for us to meet or talk again is actually unbearable – he spurred all at once, with a strong look on his eyes, never diverting his eyes from hers – I never knew I could feel this way about someone. The light that you emanate has taken over full control of my life and, just like the sun you are, you are now everything I see and everything I want to have. You’re my sun. – he finished, accentuating the “my” part, to make it even more clear how he felt about her.

His face was dead serious yet all he got from Jimin was a loud laugh which puzzled him and made him froze in the spot.

- Ha, ha. Good one, Jungkook – Jimin said between laughs – I think this one was the best prank I ever gotten. Did Bambam and Yugyeom gave you the idea? – she asked, looking at one of the walls of the room now because she wanted to hide the fact that her eyes were starting to fill with tears. This was obviously a prank, no one like Jungkook would ever fall for her, that was just crazy so it had to be a prank. – Oh, boy, I’m gonna get those two boys good, I’m gonna give them the best prank of their lifes and…

She couldn’t continue because her lips were soon taken over by another person’s lips. Her eyes were wide open, not believing what was happening she tried to release herself from that kiss but Jungkook was way stronger and didn’t let her move an inch. At the end, she gave up to the kiss which was soft and warm, but a little wet as her tears had started falling. She didn’t care anymore about the prank and although she was 100% sure that it was, indeed, a prank, she decided to go with it and enjoy that moment she had dreamed of many nights before.

- This is not any type of prank, Jimin – Jungkook said, breaking away from the kiss and putting both of his hands on Jimin’s face where he also took care of cleaning the tears that were falling from her eyes. How could she think that it was a prank? Did she think that little of him? – I like you. More than anyone or anything I’ve ever had in my short life. I want to be with you, forever, if possible. I don’t want to see you with other guys, I don’t want anyone else to fall in love with you, I want you with me, I want you to be mine – and then finished – Do you believe me now? – to which Jamie still not being able to believe it, could only nod with her eyes close to then receive another kiss from that boy who has been the owner of her thoughts 24/7 for the past few months.

The kiss was everything Jungkook imagined it would feel like, and more. It was soft, warm, and pure, just like the two of them. Neither of them wanted to break apart but they soon had to because they were running out of air. As soon as they separated Jimin couldn’t help but lower her head because she didn’t want Jungkook to see how red her face was but that only made him laugh. “Cute” he thought.

He turned around and went to the place where he initially was when she entered the room and picked up the bouquet of flowers he had thrown to the floor when he ran to kiss Jimin, then he returned to Jimin’s side and said -: You know, it wasn’t very easy to arrange all of this. I had to talk with my members first, then our manager, then with our CEO, and then our CEO and me had to talk with your CEO and then with your manager and it was all really a mess, it took me days to get everyones approval… - he pourred, hoping to be rewarded with something like a hug or a kiss but he immediately knew that anything about Jimin was predictable so it wasn’t likely he will be receiving that from her on that night.

- Woaaah, I’m so thankful you did all of this for me! You shouldn’t have! – Jimin said, bringing both of her hands together in her chest, acting as if she was touched, with obvious sarcasm in her tone of voice, that same sarcasm that always characterized her. Of course she was touched, but she couldn’t miss this chance to mess with Jungkook now. He immediately saw through it and simply let out a small laugh.

- Don’t worry, for my girlfriend I would do anything – he smirked looking at her.

- Wow, wow, wow. Girlfriend? I don’t ever remember you asking me to be your girlfriend though… - she questioned, acting really confused and surprised. Jnngkook just sighed with a smile on his face and, since he knew she was right, he decided to go all the way on this so he got down on one knee in front of the girl, raised the bouquet of flowers in his hand and asked:

– Park Jimin, would you please be my girlfriend? – he already knew the answer but there was still a fraction of him that was really scared that all of that before was an act from her and in the end she would say no so he swallowed saliva, attempting not to look so nervous, and waited.

- Oh? I thought that we were already boyfriend and girlfriend, though? Do you think I would let someone kiss me without being his girlfriend first? Omooo, you must have a very wrong image of me in your mind then… - she answered to then release a loud laugh. She was obviously messing with him because she just would never forgive herself if she had let that opportunity of a very embarrassed Jungkook go to waste.

- Yah, you’re so mean! – he laughed with her while he stand up.

- You know I’m kidding, right? I would love to be your girlfriend – she said to then proceed to give a short but sweet kiss to Jungkook which only left him with a puzzled frozen face because it caught him by surprise.

- Good, you’ve said it now! There is no turning back – he pointed.

- I would never want to turn back, would you? – she asked.

- No, never. We’re in this for the long run – he stated, and with that he grabbed her hand strong enough for her to know that he was very serious about that as well. Because, at that moment, at that time, they both actually did believe that they were gonna be together forever. But who could blame them? They were teenagers and neither of them were old enough to know that the "and they lived happily ever after" only existed in fairytails. And this wasn't a fairytail, this was real life. And in real life, people grow, people change, and before you realize it the promises made are long broken.

Hello, again!!! It hasn't been long since we've seen each other, have we? xd At first I said on the second chapter we will see JungkookxJimin relationship, how it started and how it got to the point it was now, but I decided to make a full chapter to how their relationship started. The next one will be about the middle of their relationship and how they got to be to the way they are now.

I suggest you click on the blue underlined links as I've put on links to pictures where you can get a better idea of how I picture things and persons to be (like in the first chapter where I added pictures for Jimin's outfit, car and apartment) etc. I just thought it would make things a little bit more """realistic""" xd and you can also click on the message pictures to get a bigger and better view of what they say.
