Summary: Hyunae lives in a time of war and destruction, a time in which fear and hatred consume both sides of the fight. From the moment she turned ten years old she was into a life of having to train day after day with other Elemental children, learning how to fight and use their powers. They all have one goal that's been set into her heart: to make the Resistence pay for what they've done to her people.

Her individual purpose in the military force became clearer after her parents were killed in an attack soon after she began training and from then on she worked harder to live up to the legacy her parents left behind. It was easy to pick a side and it was even easier to follow the orders from her Captain for a cause she knew was completely justified. However, everything she knows is true might be proven wrong from the recluse that lives down the hall.

Why I chose it: Not only does this sweetheart write well and have other good stories, but she just has a way of you into the action with her words, I can imagine clearly everything she was saying like it was a movie and not a book. I prefer romance stories and this story does include romance but it was nice to see a story that was more about the stories of the characters, mainly the oc, and the action within the war, romance and feelings for
