Z burst through her apartment door laughing breathlessly.

"I win!" She said to a winded V who was a few steps too late. He bent over with his hands on his knees.

"Okay okay. You win." He managed to get out between breaths. "I'm pretty sure you cheated though."

"Cheated? Me??"

"Well this *is* your apartment complex. And you *do* walk these halls multiple times a day. Every day. So really, elevator racing in your complex is cheating." He glanced up through his bangs.

"Hey - I'm not the one who issued the challenge, okay?" She crossed her arms and huffed.

"Point to Z. You win."

Z's mood changed instantaneously and it was only then that V realized he'd been duped. He straightened up before starting to stretch his back.

"Good idea to stretch. Don't want you to injure yourself while you carry me around the rest of the day!" V couldn't help but smirk as he noted the slight evilness in Z's laugh. He shook his head and knelt down so she could hop on his back.

"Where to?" He asked as he stood up too quickly, causing Z to cling to him tighter. She gently smacked his shoulder.

"To the kitchen! I'm hungry." He could feel her grinning against him as he started his walk. "I wonder..." V knew that tone. It usually only led to trouble. "Could you cook and hold me at the same time?"

"You know I can't cook, Z."

"Not even instant ramen?" He couldn't see her puppy dog eyes, but he knew they were there. "It would be so amazing! Plus then I could brag about how strong you are." V answered with silence. "I'll cut your punishment down to just making ramen!" She bargained.

"...I spose I could handle ramen. Think you can hold on tight? I'll need at least one of my hands." V winced as Z squealed right into his ear. She quickly obliged by wrapping her arms and legs more tightly around him. V gulped as he tried to ignore the feel of her leg muscles straining against his sides and stomach. He shook his head and quickly went to work. He found a teapot, filled it with water, and set it on the stove to heat. Silence stretched as V tried to think of anything other than her chest and stomach expanding and contracting against his back. He busied himself with preparing a cup of ramen and started humming. He tilted his head ever so slightly when he felt Z's breath hitch against his back.

"You okay back there?"

"Yup! I'm fine. Totally fine." She answered, none to convincingly. The whistle from the teapot cut off any further interrogation.

After being extra careful not to burn Z and with chopsticks expertly placed on top to seal in the heat, the ramen was almost ready. V hooked his arms under Z's legs to support her again.

"There! A few more minutes and your super strong amazing chef boyfriend will have fulfilled his duty."

"Yay! How ever shall we pass the time?"

There's that tone again... V barely had enough time to think before Z started kissing the side of his neck.

"Z..." He scolded as her hands slid down his chest.

"Your heart is beating so fast." She commented softly. "Everything okay up there?" She brushed her lips along the edge of his ear before gently on his earlobe for a moment. "Your breath seems to be getting heavier too... I'm not sure you're going to make it!" Her laugh tinkled in his ear.

She squeaked and stumbled as he suddenly dropped her. Her legs were shaky from being held for so long but V quickly backed her up against a wall.

"You're making me hungry." He warned.

"Aren't you supposed to do a taste test before presenting a dish? That's all I was doing." She looked up with big doe eyes and wasn't surprised to see a hungry wolf looking back at her.

"You're supposed to taste test the dish, not the chef."

"Ohhhh... my mistake. Must have gotten lost in translation." She innocently batted her eyelashes.

"I'm positive they have that rule in English." He raised a questioning eyebrow.

"Do they? I've been living in Korea so long I can hardly remember." She peeked over his shoulder. "I think it's about time for my ramen."

"Didn't we just discuss that the chef is supposed to taste first?"

"Fine fine. You can have a bite. But the rest is mine." She shook a warning finger and made to move around him. She gasped as he pushed her back against the wall.

"That's not what I'm hungry for." He said dangerously before capturing her lips. His kissed her as though he were going to devour her. Z had a hard time keeping up.

After the initial shock wore off, she smiled as he kissed her.

"What is it?" He asked between kisses.

"You're still supposed to be carrying me, you know." She grinned.

"Good point."

A delighted laugh left her as he picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist again.

"I quite like being up here." She grinned playfully.

"I quite like you being up there." He replied. "Now. I believe I was enjoying my chef privileges. No further interruptions, if you don't mind. There are only a few things I want slipping past those lips of yours."

Z flushed red. V smirked knowingly as he kissed her again. A moan left Z.

"That's one of them." he murmured. This time a frustrated moan left her as she tangled a hand in his hair and kissed him hard. She felt V's chuckle against her chest as he kissed her back, massaging her lips with his, willing her to soften up a bit.

He backed her against the wall again before running his hands firmly up her taut thighs and his lips down her exposed throat, eliciting a groan from them both.

"V" she whined.

"That one is pretty good. I think we can do better though." He laced sultry kisses along her shoulder and neck, tracing them up to kiss her as his hands made their way up to hold her face. Z's hands gripped his hair again and their kisses intensified. Ragged breathing was finding them for the second time that day. Z grabbed V's hands and slid them down her sides. With his arms out of the way, she hungrily attacked his throat with her own kisses, not being nearly as slow about it as she was before. She her lips buzzed from the sounds escaping him. She took her hunger back to his lips where he could return her affections. Their warm breath mingled between heated kisses.

Z's stomach growled. They ignored it in favor of their current entertainment until it became obnoxiously loud.

"Z. That is not one of the approved noises." V muttered between kisses.

"I can assure you my lips did not make that noise. Talk to my stomach." She replied. V pulled back and looked down.

"Stomach. That is not one of the approved noises." He scolded while shaking a finger at her stomach.

Z couldn't help but dissolve into laughter. He laughed with her as he gently put her down. V intertwined his fingers with hers and led her over to the ramen. He sneaked a peek and quickly shut the lid.

"I don't think you want to see what happened in there."

Z put on her best serious face. "What's the matter, chef?"

"There was an incident with the kitchen staff. The chef recommends ordering delivery and is very sorry for situation."

"The customer is very happy with the situation and knows just the place to order from." Z winked.
