Takane No Hana - lit. “flower on a high peak”; a japanese phrase about someone or something that one desires but is far away or unattainable

Hanahaki disease (n.)- a fictional disease originated in Japan born from one sided/ unrequited love. The victim coughs up flower petals. It may be removed by surgery but the feelings go away with the petals. It can also be cured when the love is requited.

Red String of Fate- a legendary Chinese myth that two persons connected by a red thread are destined lovers, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. No matter how far they travel or how lost they get, they could always find their way back to each other. The cord may stretch or tangle but it will never break.

Daffodils- in the language of flowers, this flower may signify unrequited love

Chrysanthemum- in the language of flowers, this may signify truth and loyal love
