Warnings: dark themes, slight gore (deaths, violence, blood, torture), open ending

Summary: Yeeun has learnt early that befriending a mutant only ends in blood and tears. But still, years later she makes the same mistake again and this time it can cost her her life.

Chapter 1: Well, you were right. This story hurt for real. It was a beautiful yet heart-wrenching story with twists that made me gasp in bewilderment and fear and descriptions that made my heart break over and over again. I loved the whole world you built up, everything seemed logical, so kudos to you for that! It's not easy to write about a dystopian future that seems real.
Thank you for sharing this jaw-dropping story with us! I wish you all the luck for the contest though I'm sure the judges will fall in love with your story! <333

Chapter 1: Darling,
My heart is aching right now and oh, I have so much to say yet I have absolutely no idea where or how to start it.
Even though I already knew that this story will break my heart, before it happened, I hoped for a happy end. Actually, I had a plan B as a solution of this mess. At least, that's what I would have done in her shoes. I would have picked up the gun first or obeyed and taken the gun when Jungkook asked. I would have pulled the trigger (and shot myself). I mean, it was so obvious that Jungkook will sacrafice himself I almost gave up reading. How could she not see it? How could she let it happen? He was the love of her life!
I would like to think that Yeeun survived but honestly, a piece of me doubt it. (although, I know the power of anger and desperation).
Oh, and I almost forgot it. If she indeed survived ALONE then they both could have make it. :/
This story was beautiful, it became my second favourite after Tae's pirate story (where he dies the same... at least, it was tragical, too)
Okay, now, I'm just speaking to much about nothing. Sorry <3
