Time pass by and so many things happened just right before the academy’s anniversary arrived but now, everything seems to be ok now except for Puifai and Cherreen’s friendship.

After the anniversary of the academy, the students were granted to have a 2 days off. Puifai and the others went home to their families.

As soon as Puifai arrived, there is a surprise that is waiting for her.

“Eomma!!!” Joong Ki said.

Puifai that got surprised is just standing at the door.

“Joong Ki? What are you doing here?” Puifai asks.

“Surprise!” Joong Ki said.

Puifai hugs her son and lift her up.

“Is Aunt Caroline with you?” Puifai asks.

“Ne! And also Uncle Tar and Auntie Due.” Joong Ki said.

“Really?” she said.

“But Tar and Due are going to stay with their friend.” Caroline said.

“How long are you going to stay here?” Puifai asks.

“Just a week.” Caroline said. “I need to do something important and I can’t leave Joong Ki since Tar and Due are going to have a reunion with their friends.”

Just then, Paula and Mos arrived.

“Oh? Is he the bastard child?” Paula asks.

“Paula!” Caroline said.

Puifai covered the ears of her child.

Paula rolled her eyes and went upstairs.

Mos approached the child.

“Hello, kiddo! I am your Uncle Mos.” Mos friendly said.

“Annyeong Hasaeyo…” Joong Ki shyly greets.

Mos messes the child’s hair. “You’re Korean, huh? So cute!”

Joong Ki giggled.

“Do you want to come with me? Let’s play.” Mos said.

Joong Ki nodded.

Puifai puts down Joong Ki.

The uncle and nephew left.

Caroline and Puifai went to the living room.

“How is he?” Puifai asks.

“He misses you and Nichkhun.” Caroline said. “And when he found out the Tar and Due are coming here, he insisted that he wants to go too so we went all here after all I also need to go here.”

“I see…” Puifai said.

“Are you worried about your reputation?” Caroline asks.

“Auntie, you know me very well that my only concern is Joong Ki. I don’t want him to get hurt.” Puifai said.

“No one will know that he is your son during our stay here. Due said that if someone ask about him, just tell them that it was her son.” Caroline said.

“I am still worried.” Puifai said.

“Just focus on your training.” Caroline said.

“Thanks, auntie.” Puifai said.

Then, Noom came in.

“What are you doing here, Caroline?” Noom asks.

“Nice to see you again, cousin.” Caroline said.

“If you’re here, then…” Noom said.

“You’re right. I am with Puifai’s son.” Caroline said.

“Better not do anything that will make the family put in to scandal.” Noom said and went to his room.

That night, Puifai is preparing Joong Ki to sleep when Nichkhun called.

“Hello?” Puifai said.

“Hi, how are you?”

“I’m fine. As if we haven’t seen each other a while ago.” Puifai said.

“Do you have time tomorrow?”

“Are you asking me to a date?” Puifai asks.

“Yes. After all, it is what a couple do.”

“What about your fans?” Puifai asks.

“We will be careful. So, do you want to come?”

“I want to but I can’t. Joong Ki is here.” Puifai said.

“Joong Ki? Really?”

“Yes. They will be staying here for a week.” Puifai said.

“Then, I should go there instead.”

“What? Are you serious?” Puifai asks.

“Yes. I miss Joong Ki.”

“Oh, ok. You can come tomorrow.” Puifai said.

“Great! I’ll be there before lunch.”

“Ok, see you.”

The next day…

When Nichkhun said ‘before lunch’, Puifai never thought that Nichkhun will arrived early morning.

“Good morning!” Nichkhun greets. He and Joong Ki are playing soccer in the garden when Puifai came out.

“You’re so early.” Puifai said.

“I told you I will be here before lunch.” Nichkhun said.

“Eomma, Nichkhun ahjushi bought me lots of toys.” Joong Ki said.

“Really? How did you managed to buy the toys today when it is still early?” Puifai asks.

“Last night after we talked.” Nichkhun said. “I know an owner of a toy store and asked him a favor.”

“But you don’t need to do those things. After all you’re not-” Puifai said.

“I am not his father? I know that but I want to be his father.” Nichkhun said.

“Nichkhun…” Puifai said. She doesn’t know what to say. She can’t believe it. Is Nichkhun really serious about it?

Puifai is about to answer when Caroline came out.

“Puifai, I’m coming out. Paula will take me to the place where I am going. I’ll be back before dinner.” Caroline said.

“Ok, auntie.” Puifai said.

Caroline waits for Paula in the living room.

“Why is a Horvejkul here early in the morning?” Paula asks Caroline.

“Don’t you know? He’s Puifai’s boyfriend.” Caroline said.

“So, rumors are true.” Paula said. “Is she really trying to ruin the reputation of our family?”

“Having a boyfriend can ruin the reputation of a family?” Caroline asks.

Paula rolled her eyes. “Just let’s go.”

The two get on Paula’s car.

When the maid opens the gate, they saw Kan outside.

Paula drives the car and stops on the side of Kan.

“You are here too?” Paula asks.

“What do you mean?” Kan asks.

“Never mind. Puifai is in the garden.” Paula said and drives the car again.

Kan doesn’t know what Paula meant but he decided to go to the garden. As he getting closer to the garden, he hears Puifai’s laugh and a child’s laugh. Then another familiar voice.

“You two are teaming up against me.” A familiar voice said.

“We’re not.” It is Puifai’s voice.

Kan finally arrived at the garden. There, he saw Puifai sitting on the chair while having breakfast while Nichkhun is playing with a child.

“I’m going to kick the ball really hard!” the child said and kicks the ball.

The ball flies towards Kan and Kan didn’t expect it. The ball hit his baby!

“Oh my! Kan!” Puifai shouts.

Nichkhun wants to laugh but he stop himself.

Puifai checks on Kan.

“Are you alright?” Puifai asks.

Kan took a deep breath and stands.

“Y-Yeah.” He said.

“What are you doing here so early?” Puifai asks.

“I want to ask you to a date.” He said. “But I guess someone already ask you.” While looking at Nichkhun.

“Kan, Nichkhun is my boyfriend. Why are you asking me to a date?” Puifai asks.

“I still want you back.” he said.

“Kan, stop it.” Puifai said.

“Eomma…” Joong Ki said.

Kan looks at child that is hiding behind Nichkhun.

“Is he our son?” he asks.

“No!” Puifai said.

“Liar.” he said and walks towards the child.

Nichkhun hides the child behind him.

“Move away, Horvejkul.” Kan said.

“No.” Nichkhun said.

Kan punches him and Nichkhun fell on the ground.

“Nichkhun!” Puifai shouts and went towards him.

Kan touches the face of the child.

“Hi… I’m your father.” Kan said.

Puifai pulls Joong Ki and hugs him tightly.

“Go away, Kan! You’re not his father!” Puifai said.

“I am and I have the right.” Kan said.

“What’s going on here?” Noom asks.

“Father!” Puifai said.

“If you’re going to fight, better leave my house.” Noom said to the two guys. “If you don’t leave, I will call the guards.”

“Kan, Nichkhun, please leave.” Puifai said.

Both the guys don’t want to leave but they need to leave.

The two left the house.

“Better bring back that child to South Korea. He will just makes things worse here.” Noom said and left.

“Eomma, does halabeoji hates me?” Joong Ki asks.

“No, baby. Halabeoji doesn’t hate you. He just doesn’t want some people fighting here.” Puifai said.

“The ahjushi who hurt Nichkhun ahjushi, he said that he is my father. Is he really my father?” Joong Ki asks.

“Do you want him to be your father?” Puifai asks.

“No. He hurt Nichkhun ahjushi. I want Nichkhun ahjushi to be my father.” Joong Ki said.

Puifai hugs her son.

Mahapreukpong Mansion…

Puifai brought Joong Ki to Mahapreukpong’s mansion. No one can take care of her son so she brought him there.

“Puifai, come in.” Gypsy said.

“I’m sorry if I just suddenly come here.” Puifai said.

“No problem. With your voice a while ago when you called me, I knew that you need help. But is it ok that Jes is here?” Gypsy said.

“Oh! Do you supposed to have a date? We can just leave.” Puifai said.

“Best friend first before boyfriend.” Gypsy said and winks.

“Thank you so much, Gypsy.” Puifai said.

“But when you said ‘we’ you mean…” Gypsy said.

“I brought my son. He is sleeping in the car.” Puifai said.

“Oh!” Gypsy said.

Puifai opens the door and carry her sleeping son.

“He’s so handsome. Luckily his looks didn’t took after from his father.” Gypsy said. “Anyway, come in. Let’s go to my room so you can put him down on my bed.”

Horvejkul’s Residence…

When Nichkhun got home, he saw Cherreen with Kang. He ignores them and went to the kitchen.

Cherreen followed him and saw the wounded lips.

“What happened to you? Who did that to you?” Cherreen asks.

“None of your business. Why don’t you just go back to your boyfriend?” Nichkhun asks.

“If you’re mad, don’t make Kang your punching bag.” Cherreen said. “Who did that to you? An anti-fan? And where did you go so early in the morning. And what’s with the toys that I saw last night?”

“Enough of questions, ok? I want to take a rest.” Nichkhun said.

“It is Kan, right? You went to Puifai’s, right?” Cherreen said. “End your relationship with her. You’ll just get hurt.”

“You don’t have the right to tell me what I want to do.” Nichkhun said.

“I am just protecting you.” Cherreen said.

“You’re not our parents so stop acting like one.” Nichkhun said and left the kitchen.

Gypsy and Puifai went to mood-room while Jes is watching Joong Ki sleeping. Puifai told to Gypsy everything that happened this morning.

“You can’t stop Kan now. He will do everything to use his right to be his father.” Gypsy said.

“If everyone in the academy know about it, what will gonna happen to my son? He is too young.” Puifai said.

“I’m sure Kan will protect him too.” Gypsy said. “Give Kan a chance after all he is the father.”

“Should I?” Puifai asks.

Gypsy nodded.

“But you need to talk to Nichkhun first.” Gypsy said.

“I will.” Puifai said.

After talking to Gypsy, Puifai and Joong Ki went to the cemetery where the remains of Puifai’s mother is resting.

“Hi, mother. I’m here again and this time, I brought someone with me. He’s the reason why I didn’t visited you for a year.” Puifai said. “Joong Ki, greet your halmeoni. She’s eomma’s mother.”

“Annyeong Hasaeyo, halmeoni! Joong Ki imneeda.” Joong Ki said.

“He speaks Korean but he can understand Thai.” Puifai said. “If only you’re here, I know that you two will be close. And if only you’re here, I and Be-”

Puifai can’t finish her words when a memory from the past is slowly appearing in her head.

“That you and Nitcharee were used to be best friends.” It was Mouse.

Puifai looks on her left and saw Mouse standing there at the front of a grave that has white chrysanthemums.

“I told Nitcharee to stop investigating the past.” Puifai said.

“Nitcharee is being haunted by the past and all she wants is to know what really happened to your parents.” Mouse said.

“My mom died in a car crash and her father died in the jail.” Puifai said.

“What if their deaths aren’t accident?” Mouse asks.

“What are you trying to say?” Puifai asks.

“What if your father wants you to believe that your mother died in an accident but the truth is, she was killed?” Mouse asks.

“Impossible. Father loves mother so much.” Puifai said. “Do you have a proof of what you are saying?”

“I don’t but I will someday.” Mouse said and left.

That night…

Noom wasn’t able to join the others for dinner because of a meeting.

“Auntie, how did my mother died?” Puifai asks.

“Oh please! Father already told us that mother died in a car accident.” Paula said.

“But how?” Puifai asks. “I was too young back then and I can’t understand everything.”

“A truck hit the car when the car is crossing the intersection. The driver said that he lost control.” Caroline said.

“Where’s the driver of the truck now?” Puifai asks.

“He found dead in the jail. Suicide.” Caroline said.

“Puifai, don’t you ever tell that to father. Until now, father still can’t forget what happened.” Paula said.

“I won’t.” Puifai said.

After the dinner, Puifai and Joong Ki are getting ready to sleep when Mos came to her room.

“Yes, P’Mos?” Puifai asks.

“About the conversation during dinner, you don’t believe that mother died in an accident, do you?” Mos asks.

“When I am growing up, I believe that it is an accident but now, I am doubting.” Puifai said.

“I also don’t believe it, too.” Mos said. “I just can’t do anything because father might found out but you, you can. I’ll give you the address of the driver of the truck. You can talk to his family.”

Mos gives him a piece of paper.

“What about P’Paula?” Puifai asks.

“Don’t tell it to her.” Mos said and leaves the room.

Puifai stares at the piece of paper.

Mouse is in his room and looking at his notes of the investigation. By following and asking some people, he learn new things about the Wipatkornthrakul Family and Kinviriyatanachite Family.

“Mouse, can I borrow your notes in history?” Nicky asks.

Mouse points at his bag that on the bed.

Nicky take the notebook inside Mouse’s bag.

“Nicky, do you know where Nitcharee’s father buried?” Mouse asks.

“No but I can ask Best. Is this about the investigation?” Nicky asks.

“Yes.” Mouse said.

“Ok. I’ll ask her now.” Nicky said and calls Best. It didn’t take a while and told Nicky the answer.

“It is same place where Natthapat’s mother buried.” Mouse said and writes it in his notes.

“Are you close to finding out the truth?” Nicky asks.

“Maybe.” Mouse said.

The next day, Mouse went back to the cemetery.

“Oh, young man, aren’t you here yesterday?” the old man who takes care the cemetery asks.

“Yes. Yes, I am.” Mouse said. “Sir, do you happen to know where Puri Kinviriyatanchite buried?”

“Kinviriyatanchite, eh? Ah yes! Over there.” The old man said and points at the direction.

“Thank you.” Mouse said.

“Poor guy. Ever since he died, only her daughter visits him every once a year.” The old man said. “But that’s strange.”

“What do you mean?” Mouse asks.

“I can see the ghosts in every grave but there are two graves that I don’t see the ghosts even once.” The old man said.

“Who are they?” Mouse asks.

“The one that you asked and the one next to the grave that you always visits.” The old man said.

Mouse is about to ask something to the old man but the old man already left.
