I slipped into the bedroom past midnight as I was not ready yet to face him. I knew my words had hurt him badly since he didn’t eat much for dinner. My poor baby, I’m sorry. I walked towards him and carefully I caress his cheek. When he started to stir, I took a step back as I didn’t want to wake him up.
