Living with Irene and meeting her was a fate that Wendy never regret. 

Being able to get close with Irene is what Wendy have always wanted. 

Wendy is really a patient person. She never ask for more from Irene.

Wendy just simply satiesfied to be able to see Irene everyday, every morning when she just woke up and every night when she's about to sleep. 

Wendy feels thankful that she is able to witness Irene's morning look. Wendy feel that its good enough she gets to cuddle with Irene while sleeping, she gets to hug her too. 

Wendy is happy and very content for everything, especially with Irene close to her. 

Wendy even forgot about her one-sided love towards Irene just because she is happy for spending her times with Irene.

But, the reality hit Wendy so hard when Irene voiced out her opinion to move out from their shared apartment. 

Wendy's heart couldnt function well out of sudden. When Wendy asked why, Irene broke out another heartbreaking news.

Irene got herself a boyfriend. They've been together for 4 months and now decided to accept her boyfriend's offer of staying together

"can you.. please dont go?", Wendy asked with pleading eyes when she saw Irene's already packing

"im sorry", was all Irene could say

Wendy looked sad but she knows, she cant stop Irene from moving out

Before Irene leave, Wendy stopped Irene for one last time

"i just want you to know that if one day.. if you want to come back, the door's always open for you", Wendy smiled weakly at Irene

"thankyou, Wan ah. for everything", Irene replied then left

Wendy stared at the closed door blankly with a heavy sigh

"why cant it be me, Irene?", Wendy asked no one

The atmosphere in the apartment is very dull. Wendy isnt excited to wake up so early like she used to. She feels so lonely and sad.

It wasnt only that, Irene have been avoiding her for few weeks now. Its hard for her to see Irene at University. 

and Wendy is missing Irene so bad. 

While Irene, she tried to give all her attention to her current boyfriend.

They went out a lot for their dates. Irene's boyfriend is a gentleman and he's been taking care of Irene so well. But sometimes.. he couldnt give his attention for Irene 

and somehow, Irene could feel that something isnt right. something is missing and her mind keep drifting to Wendy.

Living with her boyfriend for few weeks, Irene has learned more about him. Irene couldnt help but to compare how different her boyfriend was from Wendy.

'Wendy would feed me when we eat', Irene thought when she was eating with her boyfriend at his apartment. her boyfriend doesnt talk and played with his mobile phone while eating

"Bogum"

"hm?", her boyfriend still doesnt look up from his mobile phone

Irene couldnt take it anymore so she snatched her boyfriend's mobile phone from his hands

"what are you doing???", Bogum asked in panic and took back his mobile phone from Irene

He is hiding something from her and Irene had found out what is it

"Bogum you..", Irene looked disappointed and hurt

Bogum gulped

"i can explain-"

"who is she and since when?"

"Irene-"

"answer me Bogum"

Bogum sighed and looked down

"she was my first love. she came back from her studies in America just few days ago and she had contacted me back again", Bogum said

"have you two been seeing each other without me knowing?", Irene asked

"im sorry", he only apologised as his answer

"but you're with me now Bogum. how could you do this to me? am i that easy for you to play with?", Irene asked

"im sorry. i never intend to. i was thinking of only meeting her again for once but.. she confessed and i-"

"and you dont tell her about me?", Irene asked cutting him off

"sorry", Bogum shook his head slowly and apologised again 

Irene dont know how she feels about this. hurt, disappointed, mad and sad were all in one

"after everything, Bogum", Irene sighed and facepalmed

"i never want to hurt you Irene i-"

"but you already did", Irene cutted him off

'Wendy would never hurt me', Irene thought

"lets end this", Irene said

"w-what?"

"you cant have us both Bogum. since you cant forget your first love, you can just go with her"

"but Irene-"

"no Bogum. i.. i have had enough. if only.. if only i listen to my heart, i wouldnt get hurt because of you and i wouldnt have to hurt Wendy too"

"what do you mean by that?"

"nothing. just.. we're over now. i hope you'll get your happiness with her", Irene said and got up to pack her things

Wendy's watching the night sky through the windows. She couldnt sleep, even if she does.. she couldnt sleep well

"Bae Joohyun, i miss you so much", Wendy whispered and closed her eyes as she leaned her head on the window

Just then, Wendy's phone rang. Wendy ignored it at first, but when it rang for the second time.. Wendy finally checked out who was calling her 

Upon seeing Irene's name, Wendy didnt think twice and answered the call immediately

Wendy took a deep breathe as she wait for Irene to say something

"Wendy?"

"..."

"..."

"yeah?", Wendy speaks up which came out like a whisper

"c-can you.. please come and get me?", Irene asked

"huh? where are you?"

"outside Bogum's apartment. i'll send the address"

"dont go anywhere. i'll be there in 10", Wendy said then hang up

Wendy quickly grabbed her coat and car keys to rush to Irene

It wasnt that hard for Wendy to find where is the place. She quickly parked her car at the side and got out to get Irene who's standing with a tired face along with her luggage beside her

"are you ok? are you hurt somewhere? what happened? did you two fight?? where is that boyfriend of yours??", Wendy asked while frowning and checking if Irene is injured or not

Irene smiled seeing how worried Wendy was

"Wan ah", Irene stopped Wendy by holding her arm

"where does it hurt? do you want me to bring you to the hospital?", Wendy asked in concern

Irene shook her head then slowly stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Wendy's body. Irene leaned her head on Wendy's chest and she feel so much glad also very relief to feel Wendy's warm embrace again 

"hey. is everything alright? what happened?", Wendy asked softly and hugged Irene gently

'Wrapped up, so consumed by all this hurt

Anger, love, confusion

"i dont feel good Wan ah", Irene mumbled

"i need you right now. thats why i called", Irene added

"its ok. everything will be ok. im here, im always here. i got you, ok?", Wendy give her more comforts and rubbed Irene's back as Wendy tighten her hug on Irene to give Irene strengths

'Came to you with a broken faith
Gave me more than a hand to hold
Caught before I hit the ground
Tell me I'm safe, you've got me now'

Irene closed her eyes and released a soft sigh. 

"Wan ah, can you.. could you.. please take me home?", Irene asked in hesitate

'Would you take the wheel
If I lose control?
If I'm lying here
Will you take me home?

Could you take care of a broken soul?
Will you hold me now?
Oh, will you take me home?'

"I promise, i will explain everything to you. but.. im tired right now", Irene said

"sure.. lets go back home. our home", Wendy replied sincerely

'our home', Irene smiled as she took note of what Wendy said

Irene fall asleep while they were on their way back to their shared apartment. Wendy doesnt have the heart to wake her up so she decided to carry Irene instead. 

As slowly and as gentle as she can, Wendy carried Irene to the bedroom with care and put her on the bed.

Wendy caressed Irene's hair lovingly then pulled the blanket for her. 

When Wendy was about to leave to take Irene's luggage in the car, Irene caught her wrist

"im sorry. did i wake you up?", Wendy asked

Irene opened her eyes and looked at Wendy softly

"dont leave", Irene whispered

"im just gonna take your luggage and-"

"dont leave", Irene said again

"..."

"i need your hug Wan ah", Irene said

So Wendy, being whipped, agreed and joined Irene in the bed.

Irene quickly snuggled closer to Wendy and Wendy give her the warm hug that Irene wants

Irene feel so calm as she heard Wendy's heart beats beautifully. Irene then also noticed how her heart followed Wendy's heartbeats

'im sorry. i shouldnt have hurt you. i shouldnt deny what i feel for you in the first place', Irene thought

"sleepwell, Hyunnie", Wendy said and kissed Irene's head like how she usually do

Irene smiled to herself and closed her eyes but she havent sleep yet

after few minutes, Wendy thought that Irene have fall asleep again

"i wish that everything will be alright and tomorrow will be a better day for you. i wish that you'll stay, because i want to hold you forever even if i have to live with pain. i love you, Bae Joohyun", Wendy confessing to Irene thinking that Irene couldnt hear and that she's asleep

but boy, she's wrong. Irene is wide awake and she heard everything clearly. but Irene still pretend that she's sleeping already

'Wan ah. tomorrow will be a better day for both of us, that i promise you. and this time, i wont let you live in pain anymore. im so sorry Wan ah, let me heal your heart. and i...', Irene paused her thought and moved to bury her face on Wendy's neck

'and i love you too, Seungwannie. sorry for taking too long to acknowledge my true feeling. i'll make it up for you, Wan ah', Irene said in her mind

so that night, both Wendy and Irene fall asleep with peace in their mind and feeling content for having each other in their arms.

and for sure, they will welcome a good new brighter days from tomorrow onwards, especially Wendy.

Got the inspiration to write this one as i listen to Take Me Home by Jess Glynne. its a good song guys, its been my fav for so long ;D hehe.
