Rimjhim- (n Hindi) the gentle tapping sound made by rain

Minwoo stood in front of the kitchen sink, a cup of coffee in his hand as he watched rain fall outside. The tap tap sound it made was a calm melody. He smiled as he heard the footsteps of his lover behind him and he turned to look at him.

“Morning baby”, he said to a tousled hair Eric. Eric came over to him and gave him a gentle back hug and kissed the side of his neck.

“Why didn’t you wake me?”, Eric said and took the cup of coffee out of Minwoo’s hand and took a drink.

“You looked exhausted and I thought I would be nice and let you sleep”, Minwoo said as he took his coffee back. He had laid in bed for a while and watched Eric sleep before he got out of bed quietly and went to take a shower before he went down to make coffee.

“But it’s the weekend, I could always take a nap later”, Eric said with a grin and kissed Minwoo’s neck again and pulled him closer. Minwoo let out a shivery little sigh and set his coffee in the sink and turned to kiss his lover gently.

As they kissed the sound of the rain was like the soundtrack of a movie.
