Jimin woke up and looked at his phone screen: 5:56AM. He groaned annoyingly and closed his eyes again. After a few minutes of sulking, he got up and went to the bathroom for a quick shower. When he was done, he put on his barista uniform and headed for the door. It was Friday, which meant he had a morning shift at the caffé. He enjoyed going to work. He loved interacting with other people, socializing and the smell of coffee that enveloped the whole place. 
But last night he barely had any sleep. One thought kept him up for hours. And that thought had a name. Jeon Jungkook. Jimin knew that the idol was in hiatus because of health issues but he didn’t 
think it was that serious. But that was only part of why the younger was on his mind. The other part was... Well...The moment Jungkook came into the room and their eyes met, Jimin felt a sudden 
tightness in his chest. It felt like he had just run a marathon and was trying to catch his breath. He spent the rest of the therapy stealing glances at Jungkook, trying to figure out what was it that drew him towards the younger. He had obviously not been thinking clearly, when he gave Jungkook his 
number. He had said it was for emergency, but secretly, he was hoping the younger would call him, 
or even just send a text. But that never happened.
The caffé Jimin worked at was pretty new and near one of the more popular caffés in the city so it wasn’t that busy. There was only a few customers in, so after taking their orders and delivering the beverages they had asked for, he sat on a bar stool and started scrolling through his Twitter timeline. 
After about fifteen minutes, the bell above the door rang, and Jimin hopped off the stool, taking the order notepad and walked over to the table the customers who had come in occupied. “Hi! What can I get you?” he said smiling, as he lowered his gaze to the two guys that were sitting there. “Jimin 
hyung?!” one of them said and when Jimin looked at the guy and realized exactly who it was, his lips curved into a big smile. “ Jungkook-ah? What are you doing here?” “ What do you mean what am I doing here, what are you doing here? Do you work here?” Jungkook asked. “ Well obviously...” his 
friend said, pointing at Jimin’s uniform. Jimin looked at him and only now noticed who he was. “You... You’re Kim Taehyung!” Jimin said loudly and got weird looks from some of the customers. “Shhh!” said Jungkook and put his hand over Jimin’s mouth. A wave of goosebumps went through 
Jimin’s body and it felt like a thousand butterflies were crawling and flapping their wings under his skin. He looked at Jungkook, his eyebrows raised, and Jungkook awkwardly pulled his hand back and sat down. “ Well, now that our covers are officially blown, I’d like a chocolate milkshake, please.” “Oh, right! Of course! Umm... Jungkook, do you want anything?” Jimin asked, looking at the younger. 
“ Banana milk, please.” Jungkook said and looked at Jimin with the cutest smile on his face that Jimin almost dropped his notepad while writing the order down. But he couldn’t help it.
