Quality Content #2.5: Applications
The guide to applyfic worldIs probably the freaking most important part for the applicant.
Here's how it works (using examples of my own applyfic bc im shameless ha):
1) Immediately go to an equivalent of a cheatsheet (in here, titled 'THE QUALIFICATIONS')
2) Read through the rules and press the 'SOURCE' button. It will redirect you to Pastebin.
3) Copy the whole code (some source codes still redirects you to the website, but for the full code itself, click 'Raw' button on the whichever webpage you entered.)
4) Go back to AFF and to the 'Blog' button at second to the right. This will direct you to the blog section.
5) Press button 'Write New Blog'
6) Click the 'Source' button (depending on the language altogether), and paste your source code there.
Click back that tiny button on the left corner.
7)
8) Start writing.
9) Finish it.
10) Profit If you go back to step 2, there's a button with the words 'Turn-in'. Click the link, as it will redirect you to a blog post. In the comments section of the blog post, paste the link of the blog of your app.
Question no one ever asked: Canta, are you promoting your own applyfic? Selfish.
Answer: How is giving a visual tutorial for users struggling with applyfics a bad thing? I lost subscribers because who knows why and I'm putting this tutorial thing free for charge. Is that selfish?
Question no one ever asked: Why don't you ever use layouts?
Answer: Because having none of it is simpler, albeit uglier. I'm not sure if people know this, but the AFF mobile really changes the layouts. It makes it hard to read when the layouts are big but mobile made the website crunch.
