Junmyeon believes that it was already morning by looking at the sight of the sunshine rays passing through the small excess between the curtains. His side face planting down onto the pillow as he’s groaning because of the numbness. He slowly rubbed his eyes. He felt quite colder than usual. Maybe because of waking up into different places. He push away the thick blanket off his body and starting to get up.

 

Suddenly the pain hits him from the lower back. He falls planting his face first back onto the fluffy bed,

 

“What-What the???” He groans in pain again as the sudden pains starting to strike him stronger when he moves around, “NNgghhhh-! It’s hurt…!”. He then turn his face into the other ways only to reveal a half man, Sehun sleeping beside him,

 

He widen his eyes in shock. “What??How..???-”

 

He tries to recall back the last night memory. He was about to go to sleep when the two man knocked his door and hand him a drink and-

 

The drink,

 

It must be the drink that knocked him off.

 

As the reality snapped him, his body started to trembles and his eyes are looking terrified. The panic struck him when he look at the other’s hand was hugging his waist and that’s it,

 

He got .

 

His body starting to sweat cold and the more he moves, the pain just getting stronger. He quickly dragged himself backwards until his body hit the cold ground floor, making a loud thud noise. He scrunch his nose in pain. “AAuuchhh. That’s hurt. It’s hurt. My body’s hurt,” He curses under his breath. He felt scared, panic, angry, everything just hit him in on time. Moreover, he just wanted to kill this person in front of him. He warns him before, how could he betrays him? The tears starting to form again,

 

The loud noise earlier made Sehun startles from his deep slumber. He rubbed his face with both of his palms and open his eyes. He saw the crying boy crouch down, holding the pain on the floor with the blanket covered him up. His widen his eyes in surprise,

 

Sehun was quick to get up and moves toward the poor boy,

 

“Junmyeon-”

 

“Stop.” Junmyeon’s soft crying voice made him flinch. “Don’t come near me.”

 

“But Junmyeon-”

 

“I don’t want to hear anything! You freaking monster!!-You-”

 

“Listen, I-”

 

“No…just stop…” Junmyeon’s bending down more, his face now is a total mess with his tears all over it, “Don’t-don’t talk to me. Just- I don’t want to speak with you,”

 

 

 

“Ughhh…Jonginnie..” Junmyeon is still sobbing. He is all alone in this foreign place and he need Jongin really bad. He won’t let anyone come inside and he even skipped his breakfast. His tummy is grumbling but he really not in a mood to eat right now. Not when half of his body was strike with the  strong pain. He wouldn’t even dare to think what had Sehun did to him last night.

 

He took a bath earlier and saw some blood stains on his thigh. He didn’t know what kind of stuff he was drinking last night that making him unaware of what’s even happening to his own body. His eyes were all puffy from crying that even when he is sad, the tears just won’t coming anymore. He just that tired from everything that’s going on with his life. He want Jongin. He miss him.

 

And now he’s just lying on the bed, thinking of what future might holds for him,

 

 

 

 

 

Kyungsoo just finish from checking up the progress of the workers and walking straight to the main hall. When he’s about to walk downstairs, he heard some of the maids talking with each other in a whisper tone,

 

“What should we do? He skipped the breakfast and now he didn’t answer me for lunch.”

 

“But the king told us to make sure he is getting the meal!”

 

“I don’t know! The Queen just won’t let us in..” Upon hearing those conversations, Kyungsoo sense something is not right. He then turn his way and greets the maids,

 

“I am sorry, but I overheard your conversations earlier, what happened to the Queen?” Both of the maids feel like a little bit guilty and kind of hesitated to tell the Royal’s essential about it. But they need to tell him the truth anyway,

 

“The Queen’s not answering us. He skipped the breakfast and now he’s not taking the lunch,”

 

“Have you talk to the King about this?”

 

“Yes, we did. But even the King couldn’t do anything. The Queen didn’t let anyone enters the room,”

 

Upon hearing those, Kyungsoo nodded, “Well, let me try then. You could go,” With that the maids hand him the tray and after a bow, they went downstairs,

 

Kyungsoo walk straight to the Queen’s room and stop in front of the door. He wouldn’t just barge in without giving a few knocks, “Your highness? It’s me, Kyungsoo.”

 

No answer,

 

“I heard you haven’t eaten anything since morning, I came to bring you lunch,”

 

No answer again.

 

Kyungsoo gave a few knocks before continue again, “Your highness? Is there anything I could help you on? Would you like some talk? I-” He stops when he heard some shuffle noises coming from the other wall,

 

“I don’t want to talk.” Kyungsoo could sense the sad tone from the other. He must be crying.

 

“Is everything aright, your highness?”

 

“You should have known better especially when you are the one who gave me the drink.” Kyungsoo paused,

 

“Wait-What?” The conversation just stopped there and it left Kyungsoo hanging. What’s with the drink? It just an usual drink where most people in the palace consume it. So what’s the problem?

 

“I left the food here on the table, just in case your highness feels like eating,” He then walks away,

 

 

 

 

 

Kyungsoo didn’t left it unsolved and his heart feels like something just not right so he find his way to meet Luhan which is now at the back of the castle together with Yixing, the King himself, Sehun who are looking at the armies progression together accompany with Tao and Chanyeol.

 

“Hey Sehun,” Sehun then turn his face to the wide-eyed man, “Yes?”

 

“Is something going on between you two? The Queen seems in a bad mood today.” Sehun paused. All of them were somehow anticipating in this conversation, “Don’t lie to me. You may be the King but you can’t ignore me.” When Kyungsoo shots his deathly glare, Sehun knows he has to spit everything out.

 

He tells everything to those ‘friends’ of his from how he get Yixing to put the dose into the drink until he sneakily went into Junmyeon’s room.

 

“Damn, you beast.” Chanyeol widen his eyes upon hearing the confession, “But hey, you were married, right? So I don’t think it’s a problem-Ouch!” Luhan punch him on his back,

 

“That boy, how old is he?” Tao asked him. Sehun opens his mouth and close it back. He knows that if he said it, all of them would definitely throw him a deathly glare.

 

“Don’t tell me he is not on that time of age yet,” Luhan rounded his eyes at Sehun. Sehun remains silence as his eyes roaming around not to look at those friends of his,

 

“Oh God. No way.” Kyungsoo close his mouth in awe.

 

“Damn boi, you nasty beastttttt.” Chanyeol covered his mouth also. “But still, you were married afterall, so….”

 

“That’s my point. I mean-” Sehun sighed again, “I wasn’t suppose to do anything on him. It just- His scent’s alluring me into him. I couldn’t help it. He looks so helpless and too precious and I-”

 

“Okay. We get it, you can stop now.” Luhan shook his head. “About the scent, have you talk to him about it? He looks as if he know nothing about his scent. He need to know one of our kingdom’s speciality to be able to sniff people. That would probably freak him out.”

 

“I haven’t. I will, but not today. He didn’t even let me into the room, gosh.” Sehun divert his gaze into a group of armies marching before continue again, “But I need you and Kyungsoo to look after him. Make sure he had his meal.”

 

“Yes. Of course, your highness,”

 

“And please apply him some medical first-aid for his body.”

 

 

 

After received the order from the King, everything that need to be send to the Queen must be from Kyungsoo or Luhan. Knowing that the petite boy didn’t touch his breakfast and even lunch, both of the man were determine to enter the room to make sure the boy is eating healthily. They don’t think having Sehun to have a talk with Junmyeon is a good idea for a moment. Maybe he need to give the boy some times to adapt everything.

 

“Your highness..?” It was already dark outside and it’s clearly that Junmyeon didn’t turn on any light. His room is in darkness. They heard some noises coming from the bed and the sounds of blanket shifting,

 

“Ughh…what do you want…?” There’s a hint of tired in Junmyeon’s voice. Clearly uninterested to have a conversation at the moment,

 

“Your highness, I am sorry but we need to make sure you eat your dinner. It was an order.”

 

“From who? The King?” Junmyeon rolling his eyes while his face planted on the pillow with his back face others,

 

Kyungsoo sighs, “I know what he did was unforgivable, but your highness,please be considerate about it. He is the King and your husband to be exact.”

 

“So? Just because I was forced to marry him does that mean he could do anything he want at me?” Junmyeon stressed out the word,

 

“No your highness, but-”

 

“I shouldn’t have put my trust in any of you. Not to the dimple-guy nor neither of you. Just leave the medicine on the table. I could apply it myself.”

 

Luhan and Kyungsoo exchange their worry look towards each other,

 

“We need to make sure that you eat your meal, your highness or the King will gone mad.”

 

They both then heard Junmyeon let out a heavy sigh. The boy then worked his body to reach the table beside his bed without moving too much or his lower back will hurt more. He slowly dragging his upper body with his arm for support and just grab only a spoonful of meat and left the other meal untouched with a loud noise of the spoon and the plate against each other.

 

“Done.” With that Junmyeon covered his whole body with the blanket and face the other way. His behaviour really catch Luhan and Kyungsoo’s attention. Even though the boy being reluctant at first, but he still did it even the result wasn’t really great. But this kind of rebel mustn't last longer.

 

“Your highness, if you still keep on with this kind of attitude, we are afraid that you might fall in sick.”

 

…

 

“And we believe that the kingdom would be in worry to find out that your highness is in sick just right after having a huge royal wedding,” Kyungsoo added. Both of the assistant trying their best to persuade the Queen.

 

…

 

“Your highness..?”

 

“I am already in sick. Can’t you see?” Junmyeon finish his word and leave the both men hanging. Both Luhan and Kyungsoo felt dejected with the other response and made their way out of the room.

 

 They like Junmyeon. They do. The same goes to the kingdom too. His presence here light up the whole kingdom’s mood. The villagers kept on asking about his doing and the King has always being proud about it. He knew he choose the right person as his Queen.

 

But looking at Junmyeon’s behaviour, they wonder for how far will he keep on with this attitude. They are trying their best to make the boy feels all welcome here, especially when what had happened towards the boy’s kingdom. Maybe Sehun was wrong for doing it to someone that young, but things happened and he need to accept it.

 

 

 

 

Things keep up and it’s almost the forth week since Junmyeon and Sehun’s accident. Junmyeon still didn’t talk with Sehun while the other was trying so hard to keep everything well. He sometimes felt guilty of having to lie to the villagers everytime they asked about the Queen, like, when will he come to the town and visit them. Sehun could only reply with his gentle smile and told them that the Queen was quite busy with keeping up with things inside the palace. There’s slightly disappointment flashed through the kids’ face. Oh how they always wanted to meet the Queen again.

 

But the disappointment quickly replace with a huge grin when Sehun told them that after the Queen finish his touring inside the palace, he will come and visit them as soon as possible, here in town. The kids then thanked him and continue to play again,

 

Sehun was quite amused on how huge the impact of Junmyeon did to his Kingdom. Everyone, Everywhere is talking about him. The special scent of his made people felt all bubbly inside. But deep inside his heart, he’s longing for that feeling,

 

Love.

 

Yes, he is married with Junmyeon, yet the boy keep his distance on him.He didn’t know what else does he need to do to bloom the relationship. He did an effort to talk with the other but Junmyeon only reply with one sentence, nodded and shaking his head and that’s it. Sehun’s not allowed to sleep together with Junmyeon because the other insist to.

 

 

Lately Luhan and Kyungsoo reported to him that the maids sometimes sense something is wrong with his husband. He often throwing up in the morning and he keeping on eating less and lesser than his normal portion. Because of that, without Junmyeon’s realising, Sehun has always came late at night to his room when the other was sleeping and sneakily lay beside his husband to accompany him and to take care of him.

 

Sehun observed his husband weird behaviour during night or when he was asleep. Junmyeon was all sweaty and couldn’t keep still In his sleep. He keep on turning left and right with frown on his face.Fortunately, Sehun was there to comfort him and sometimes giving his husband a soft and soothing pat on his back until his husband finally gain the sleep he needed.

 

Sehun then woke up early in the morning, to make sure that his husband is still sleeping so that he could slowly get up and leave the room.

 

Junmyeon might not knowing the fact that all of those good sleeps he’s getting was due to the help of his husband came into his room every night, lying beside him sneakily and comfort him. Sehun was fine by it as long as it didn’t scared the other one.

 

Until one afternoon when Sehun wake up after coming home late after having a trip to some places and decided to sleep in his own room, the sweet scent that he always looking forward to every morning he woke up is no longer lingers on that day.

 

He quickly open his eyes upon realising that sudden phenomenon and his heart beat starting to beat faster. What happened to his husband? Where did the scent gone off to? He sat up, throw his blanket and rushed to his husband’s room.

 

Halfway to his husband room, he heard his friends’ calling for him, He stopped and turn his face towards them. Clearly felt slightly uneasy of things going on with his husband,

 

“Is something going on with the Queen?” Tao asked him,

 

“I don’t know. I just wake up. Is everyone aware about this?” Sehun’s fidgeting under his feet. His forehead run sweat cold.

 

“Probably. The guards are talking about it. The scent just stopped. That’s why I’m here to ask you about it.”

 

“I think the whole kingdom notice about this,” Jongdae came from behind, “The villagers were asking me why all of sudden the Queen’s scent disappear. I was having a look on the villagers when they suddenly bombarded me with all kind of questions.”

 

“God, I-”

 

“Your highness!” All of them turned their faces to the owner of the voice and saw Luhan and Yixing  running towards them.

 

Luhan took a deep breath and with his out of breath’s voice, he continue again,

 

“Sehun, the Queen-”

 

 

 

Sehun rushed to the room and slammed the door opened only to see his husband and his weak body being carried by Kyungsoo. Panic starting to rush all over his mind looking at the pale-face and blue-purplish lip looking of his husband giving him nightmare. He quickly rushed to his husband and kneel down.

 

“What happened to him??” Sehun’s voice is a mix of panic, stern and also little bit of anxious almost shouting at Kyungsoo,

 

“I-I don’t quite understand too. The queen seems fine in the morning and just now when Luhan knocked the door he received no answer. The scent was still there on that time and he heard a shuffling noise coming from inside. When Luhan was about to enter, only then he heard a loud thud noise and saw the Queen already on the floor unconscious.”

 

“How long has the scent’s disappeared?” Sehun slowly shifts Junmyeon leaning to his chest and carry him with a bridal style.

 

“For almost 30 minutes now.”

 

“Call the physician. Now.” Sehun ordered his Royal Men to bring the Royal’s physician at that exact moment. It has been 30 minutes and they didn’t even bother to get his husband a check-up? But Sehun didn’t show his rage because he know the others must have feeling the same as him. Panic.

 

He slowly place his weak husband softly on the huge bed and buttoned off some of the buttons to let the air in. He softly caress his husband soft face and move to swipe the sweat running to his collarbone.

 

He frowns looking at his husband pale face is turning paler as a ghost. He shifted his gaze towards the other lip. The rosy red lip that he loves staring at was no longer there as it replace by the blue purplish one. He cursed himself of what taking the physician so long to arrive,

 

“Please stay strong….junmyeon..” He softly caress the other face and planted a soft peck on the other lip, only to feel the coldness touch of it.

 

 

 

The physician has arrived and busy looking after the weak body in front oh his. The Doctor done everything he need to gain an answer for what has causing the incident. Aside the doctor, Sehun, and all of his seven trusted Royal Men are there inside the room. He didn’t want an outsider to be inside.

 

Sehun really couldn’t wait any more. He’s been waiting for like an hour for the result yet the scent is still disappearing and Junmyeon is still unconscious.

 

“What is really going on with my husband? Why was his scent’s disappearing?” Sehun shot his questions to the doctor. After checking through his paper and notes, the Doctor then let go of his stethoscope from both of his ears and look at curious King in front of him with a genuine smile,

 

“Well, I guess the Kingdom will be expecting a Royal Baby,” The doctor’s unclear answer made Sehun dumbfounded while Luhan, Baekhyun and Tao already gasped and squealing with each other at the back,

 

“Excuse me, Could you explain again?” The doctor shaking his head and just chuckled with the confuse King in front of him,

 

“Congratulation, your highness! The Queen is pregnant for 4 weeks now!”

 

Upon hearing the big new, Sehun froze. Never once he ever imagined himself having a baby. He just- He just shocked. But at the same time he also felt bubbly inside thinking that the Queen is having his baby. He almost crying due to the fact that for a while, he finally receive such an exciting news. He just want to hug his lying husband right now and pampered him with kisses if he wasn’t unconscious. He wanted to tell Junmyeon how thankful he is,

 

“Then, when will he regains his conscious?” Kyungsoo asked the Doctor while the others are following from behind,

 

“I gave him an injection for additional strength, he will soon wake up but the effect like sore, and numbness would be present and about the scent,” The Doctor then turn his body to face the King, “Never once in my entire life in my physician career have I encounter a special case like this. It was really rare to found an outsider, well in case you found him in an enemy state, then it was really rare to have an enemy with a sweet scent.”

 

“Maybe he wasn’t an enemy.” The doctor raise one oh his eyebrows and place his fingers on his chin as in deep thought,

 

“What do you mean by that? I thought our kingdom was specialised with this sniffing skills towards our enemy. Are there more that our kingdom is yet to be discover?” Sehun asked the physician with a curious tone,

 

“No, I mean,” The Doctor continue again, “Maybe he really wasn’t an enemy. It could be that he was born from a parent who wasn’t interested to fight or starting a chaos,”

 

“It can’t be. Once I arrived to his place, all of those stinky scents lingers around them. No doubt their people was full of hatred.”

 

“It wasn’t about his people we are talking about, your highness. The queen heart is a pure innocent. He got a kind soul to be exact. If that the case, no wonder his scent doesn’t smell like an enemy. Because he wasn’t to begin with.”

 

They both stare at each other, still haven’t satisfied with the theories.

 

“If the Queen really wasn’t an enemy, then who was the one who had done damage to our kingdom?” Yixing then spoke out. His question alert the others.

 

“Perhaps there is someone else behind all of those damage,” The Doctor reply,

 

Sehun nodded in agreement. He will let Jongdae and Baekhyun investigate about it later,

 

“But for now,I believe as soon as the Queen regain his conscious, the scent will soon appears again. This must be a huge news of the centuries. I could sense that this year would turn out greatly to the kingdom. Too many good news coming in.”

 

“Once again, your highness, congratulation. You did choose a perfect person as a Queen.” His last word got Sehun blushed in embarrassment. With that, The Doctor bid his goodbye accompanied by Chanyeol and Baekhyun walking out from the room,

 

Sehun then walk towards his others Royal Men.

 

“Congrates your highness! I am so happy for the both of you!” Tao couldn’t hide his excitement. Jongdae then gave the King a proud pat on his shoulder, “We were so proud of you. The people must be really happy about it. Now I could finally answer all of those questions.”

 

All of those excitement got washed away when Kyungsoo asked him with a very serious voice,

 

“But then, how do you need to handle the situation if the Queen went into a panic state again? He’s still young, your highness. He probably might stress about it and it could affect the pregnancy. He doesn’t eat a lot too.”

 

“Why do you always have to kill the excitement?” Yixing murmured under his breath but it didn’t went unnoticed to Luhan,

 

Luhan nodded in agreement, “Kyungsoo was right. The Queen need a wake up call. If he still remain an attitude like before, then this is going nowhere. But I understand that since he is still young. You need to do something, Sehun.”

 

Sehun rubbed the bridge of his nose and let out a sigh. Yes, he forgot that Junmyeon and he is still in a bad term. Since the boy seems like a clueless one, it was now up to him to help Junmyeon prepares for every possibility in the future.

 

He wonder what would his husband’s react to this.

 

 

 

 

He felt the numbness spreading all over his lower part body. He didn’t want to move much because the pain just hurting him more. Just what was happening to him? He couldn’t remember much. He did remember himself got up to reach for the door and after that everything went blank. He felt slightly better than before, he guess? He felt like there were some energy just got transferred through him,

 

Junmyeon slowly opens his eyes and squint it, adjusting to the damp light passing through to his room from the huge curtains. While scanning his eyes to the view in front of him then his sight stop at the tall figure sitting beside him, leaning on the headboard of the bed with a book on his hand. Reading maybe,

 

He froze. He wanted to move his body and jumped off the bed but his body didn’t let him too. He just all worn out. Should he pretends to be asleep? But he was thirsty and he wanted something to drink so badly. His throat was all dry. Oh well,

 

His hand slow movement catches Sehun’s sharp eyes. Sehun snapped upon realising that small movement and quickly turn his face to his husband and saw the others looking at him too. Both of them stare each other in silence before the reality reach Sehun,

 

“Oh god, you finally awake,” Junmyeon saw the other’s face seems to bloom and he seems to be relieve, “You fainted for hours just now. Literally put the whole kingdom worried,”

 

“Put me in worried sick.” Sehun added again, and Junmyeon somehow touched by it,

 

“I-I fainted?” Junmyeon forced his body to rest on the headboard. Looking at how hard it was his husband to move his body, Sehun was quick to help him.

 

“Yeah. You didn’t eat wasn’t you?”

 

Junmyeon rolling his eyes, “Who would have the mood to eat after what you did.”

 

Great. Sehun sighs again. This is the part where he need to tell Junmyeon everything and Junmyeon still feels salty about it.

 

“Actually, there is something I need to tell you.” Sehun’s serious tone got the petite boy’s curious but at the same time also nervous,

 

“What is it?”

 

Sehun took a deep breath and continue again,

 

“ The Physician came in to check on your health and he told me that you are pregnant.” Sehun saw the change of emotion occurs on the other face, “For four weeks now.”

 

Junmyeon couldn’t believe what he heard. How can he even pregnant?? Oh wait, yes. It was all Sehun’s fault to be exact.

 

“No. You got to be kidding me.” Junmyeon was on the urge of crying again. He was too young to receive all of this. He didn’t prepare to all of these things to happen to him. “ I don’t understand? What have I done wrong?? I didn’t do anything to you yet why you have to make things difficult on me?? Just-” He couldn’t contains the feelings anymore as he let the tears running all over his face. It was too much.

 

Never in Sehun’s life he ever felt this huge guilty on him. The boy’s crying is getting louder and louder. He understand. He was married with a younger husband. Maybe an inexperienced too. He wrapped his arm all over the crying bot and comforts him,

 

He pull Junmyeon’s face up to face him and wipe the tears away,

 

“ I am sorry, Junmyeon. I am sorry for putting you in this terrible situation. But I didn’t done this to make you suffer, I promise.”

 

The crying boy locked his gaze on Sehun, wanting some explanations.

 

“I love you, Junmyeon. The first time I laid my eyes on you, I got captivated with the beauty eyes of yours. I knew on that moment that I need to have you as my own. I am sorry things went horribly at first, but I told you the truth. I really do love you.”

 

“You-you-hiks-love-hiks-me?” Junmyeon reply with sniffling. Clearly confused with everything, “I-I don’t know about all of these-these stuffs. I-I never-hiks-rule a king-kingdom before and now-hiks- I’ am pregnant?? What am I suppose t-to do now?” Sehun push the crying boy to lean over his chest,

 

“I’ll help you, Junmyeon. I’ll help you prepare. I’ll be beside you forever and we’ll help each other through, hmm? Please don’t push me away, again. I didn’t marry you for nothing. I love you so much,”

 

 

 

After a while of silence and having Junmyeon to finally calm down from his crying-mess, Sehun remember something.

 

“Ah yes…before I forget, I believe you need to know something about our kingdom,” Sehun words got Junmyeon to turn his face up to look at other,

 

 

 

So Sehun told everything to Junmyeon. Literally everything. Starting on how his people actually could sense the enemies with their special gifted to why they were all looking at Junmyeon in certain why after he brought his husband in,

 

“Since they already used to smell stinks scent coming from outsider, yours was different, Junmyeon. Your scent was a pure innocent like smell, mixed with the sweet vanilla scent. You got everyone attentions.”

 

Sehun stories made Junmyeon’s surprise. He then explained more about the scent. It will become stronger after the person’s immaculate and lost it immediately when one lose it’s conscious.

 

“So you are saying that everyone in this kingdom could literally sense where am I?? That’s creepy and ert things all together,” Junmyeon covered himself with both of his arms which received chuckled from Sehun, “… no wonder my father warns me about it before… so that’s why. You were the enemies that he mentioned before..” Junmyeon whispered to himself,

 

“Yes.” He smiles, liking these casual conversations with his husband, “So that’s why, when you fainted, everyone was worried about your scent’s disappearing. Don’t scared me again like that,hmm?” He softly brushed the strands of hairs falling on Junmyeon’s beautiful face.

 

 

Junmyeon might not knowing what the future holds onto him, but he believes, slowly he will prepare onto it. He and Sehun and with their unborn baby.
