Shuhua finished getting ready first, so she found herself staring at Yuqi as she put on the final layers of her outfit. 

"Wait, you have a hair strand stuck in your zipper." Shuhua rushed to help. 

Their eyes met and Shuhua got trapped in the maze that was Yuqi's eyes. 

"Did you know you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen?" Shuhua said with a low tone. 

"You've told me." Yuqi smiled. 

"And did you know I love you?" 

"Yes, you've also told me." 

Shuhua rolled her eyes. "I'm trying to be romantic here." 

"You can be more creative than that, Shuhua. Now I want you to tell me something you’ve never told me." 

A few seconds went by in silence. Shuhua's eyes roamed Yuqi's features, as she tried to think about something to say, stopping at her lips. Using her hand that still rested on the back of Yuqi's neck, Shuhua pulled her in for a passionate kiss. 

"Your kisses are the best."  

The corner of Yuqi's lips curled up before pulling Shuhua into another kiss. 

Shuhua had, indeed, never told her that. But she didn’t have to, as the way her lips moved against hers had always spoken in her place.
