Those White Christmases

Description

No fluff or ; romance is ambiguous at best. This is merely a simple story that explores some real life "tragedies." I use the word "tragedy" because I personally find the phenomenon (described in the story) tragic, but it is not as severe as death, illness, or other physical harm.

It's more of an emotional sort of pain.

AU: Suju members are just a normal group of friends. I tried to maintain their personalities, but I changed a few of their relationships to better map their characters onto the people in my story. I feel sorry about that…

Foreword

A short something I wrote back in December based off my feelings to some real life events. A lot of the details are symbolic and/or factual.

The posted part was actually written from December 28-29 (I marathoned another story in 2 days! Yay). But then I wrote more and wasn't satisfied with it. Where I had left off back then could have been an ending in of itself, which is why perhaps later, I'll post the extra scenes as an alternate conclusion or epilogue or something. The title is based off the scenes which to this day I still haven't fixed (hence why they're currently unposted). Until/unless I decide to change it.

This morning (1/12/12.Thursday), I woke up to a snowy world...

Edit [2/13/12. Monday]: After a recent heart-to-heart conversation with my friend ("Ryeowook"), I decided it was about time I stopped procrastinating on fixing the ending. Still not 100% satisfied with it, but I suppose it'll do for now. (Unlike most of the story, the last scene wasn't inspired by real-life events. I apologize for the sappiness.)

Chapter 3: So I see the best writers I know are all here.
Well let me just take a moment as fall off my chair,
then cry about never being this good.

/le sighs.

No wonder Bluuunie reads your stories.

Uh...I can't think of anything else to say. >< I would throw in something cynical about how it doesn't always snow (like this year!), but it doesn't feel appropriate. So I'll just say, job well done. Beautifully written.
Now, leave me alone while I cry. :P
