"Hey JiEun, Are you hungry? You can eat my nachos if you want to" A classmate teased while the other students laughed. JiEun lowered her head and gripped her fist, Embarrassment was written all over her face. The teacher came in and all the students went back to their seats. JiEun pulled her purple pen with a ribbon on it from her pocket, she ped her backpack and grabbed her notebook.

The teacher clapped her hands for attention "I have your last assignment here," the teacher said pointing to a stack of papers, "Appearently, one student didn't pass the assignment" she said while staring at JiEun.

"Uhmm, It's because .." JiEun got cut off by the teacher "I don't need excuses, Ms. Lee. How many times have I told you this?". JiEun inclined her head "I'm sorry, I'll do my assignment from now on". Suddenly,

"I'm sorry I'm late" An attractive guy in the corridor bowed infront of the class ,JiEun's heart skipped a beat. "Oh, so you're the new student?" The teacher said as everyone's eyes were glued on the new student. "Yes" he cleared his throat, "My name is Taeyang" he smiled. "I see. Alright class, He's the new exchange student. Now where should I place you?" The teacher's eyes roam around whilst girls were drooling over him. "Ah, You can sit in the 4th row"  JiEun heavily sighed, wanting to talk to the new student.

It's time for lunch, JiEun sat in the corner of the cafeteria. She ate her bologna sandwich while ignoring her classmates, she always gets teased everyday calling her a piggy. Everytime she hears that word, her heart aches but she's used to it now. She took a sip of her orange juice as she saw the new exchange student, she can't take her eyes off of him. "Omo, I think I like him" she murmured. 

Dear Diary,

     There's a new exchange student in our class! He's so good-looking and intelligent. Maybe I like him or maybe I don't. I don't know, 
 Maybe this feeling is just ordinary. I never felt this way before, What should I do? Anyway, my classmates teased me as usual. It's part 
 of their daily routine, I guess.

Jieun shut her diary and basically hid it under her pillow. Her Diary was her only friend. She writes her past experiences,wishes, thoughts and feelings in it. "JiEun-ah!" her older sister, Sulli called.

"Jieun-ah, have you seen my Math notebook? I can't find it anywhere!" her sister said. 

"Haven't seen it" Jieun said and pinted to her diary, "This is the only one I have, What about Taemin?". 

Jieun has a younger brother too, named Taemin. "Taemin!" Sulli yelled as she stamped her foot, "Did someone call me?" Taemin asked. 

"What did you do with my Math notebook?" Sulli demanded.

"I haven't touched your math notebook, why the heck would I?" Taemin replied.

"I don't know and I don't care. You would study with it"

"For your information, I will not use your stupid notebook! I studied an hour last night, Thank goodness I'm not an oversized brain in a glass jar!" 

"At least I can think for myself!" Sulli retorted, "It's better than spending all my time trying to put a ridiculous ball through a little hoop!" 

"Ridiculous? You're calling basketball ridiculous?!" 

Jieun sighed and just ignored her siblings. Her sister and brother are always like that, they would always fight everynight. Put them together and you had an automatic explosion. Actually, It's Jieun's stepbrother and stepsister. Jieun was just adopted, she is treated like a maid in the family.

"Uhmm, Hello! Could you go somewhere else to argue with that useless stuffs?" Jieun said. The siblings left without a word, and continued fighting outside. After Jieun wore her pajamas, she took off her glasses and yawned. "'I'm so tired" she said to herself, she usually pray before going to sleep. She yawned again and lay down in the bed.
