Baekho POV:

"Haneul let‘s go", Baekho said to his niece, while holding his hand out to her, she ran towards her uncle and grabbed his hand. It was a week after Haneul‘s fifth birthday and Baekho took his niece out, as he promised her on her birthday.

"Baekho hurry up or i‘m leaving without you guys", JR shouted towards Baekho.

JR was Baekho‘s childhoodfriend since they were toddlers, his real name is Jonghyun but he wanted everyone to call him JR, because according to him, it sounded cooler than Jonghyun. They used to live beside each other and their parents also were very close friends. Both of them used to go to the same kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and high school, they even visit the same college now. They were stuck to each other almost 24/7, you could say that they practically were brothers and family.

"Hurry up Baekho I want to eat some cake", JR said in a whiny voice and with a pouty face. Baekho chuckled because JR reminded him of his niece when she was sulking.

Since the weather was nice, they decided to walk to the café instead of taking the car. While walking to the café, Haneul grabbed onto Baekho's and JR's hand, it was a habit she developed while being around them. Baekho was holding Haneul‘s hand on the left side and JR was holding her hand on the right side as they entered the cake shop. The old lady from last time was at the the counter again and greeted them with a smile. Baekho greeted her back, this time without being awkward since he had his niece and JR by his side.
They took a seat at one of the tables and Baekho looked at his niece, she had a wide smile plastered on her face.

Baekho grinned at her and said "If I knew you would be so happy I would've brought you here sooner." „What about me?“ JR said, making a pouty face at Baekho. „Of course I would’ve brought you along too, how can I forget about my one and only friend?“ the blonde boy said grinning at his his friend who looked very satisfied with the answer he got.

He smiled watching his niece converse with JR who was like a second uncle to her, he was happy seeing his best friend and niece get along so well, which didn't suprise Baekho at all, since his niece and JR were the same behaviour-wise. Sometimes Baekho felt like hes taking care of two children instead of one when JR was around, but he didn't mind because that was something that the blonde boy loved about his friend.
