Chanyeol loathed Baekhyun.

He could still remember the metallic stench from the blade Baekhyun was holding as his gaze fell upon the unmoving body on the floor.

His mother's.

He trusted him - with his kept stories, with his flaws and with his heart. The first of tears fell to the floor and all he remembered after was red.

Suffering followed afterwards, as he kept Baekhyun for revenge. That was his plan - to make the latter pay for what he did to his mother.

Then came the moments of pleading and regret, but Chanyeol doesn't buy it. He still hates Baekhyun to his core.

Or at least, that what his mind says.

Because his heart tells him otherwise.
