Chapter 1

Hurt people Hurt people

Yuta remembered what it was like. The feelings he had when he first moved to South Korea, the fear. He was just a city boy who came from a foreign country, not knowing the language and not knowing anyone. It was only natural to be scared

But then he made friends. Then he learned Korean. And now, four years later, he has made his own family away from home.

So when he saw the younger Chinese boy, he wanted to help him, because he remembered what it was like. The younger was nervous, anxious, just like Yuta once was. Granted, their first meeting was awkward, since their was still a language barrier, Yuta felt like he had a responsibility to take care of this boy.

You can say it was destined from the start.

"Hyung" Sicheng said, laced with a thick accent "Are you going to eat that?"

Yuta looked down at his plate, the meat sitting cold on it. He smiled "Do you want some?" The younger nodded, and Yuta picked up his chopsticks, feeding the other. "It's good, isn't it?" Once again, Sicheng nodded

This was the responsibility Yuta felt like he had. (At least, thats what he had convinced himself of). He just had to take the Chinese dancer on these late night dates. Well, not really dates, more like outings, but Sicheng always called them dates, and the older never corrected him.

"Are you feeling okay? You seem out of it." The younger noted

"I'm fine, Sicheng, just a bit tired."

"Do you want to go now?" The younger sometimes felt like he was a burden to the older, but he never noticed. Yuta could never even imagine Sicheng being a bother, not even in his dreams

"Why do you always want to leave me?" Yuta joked, but it was something he genuinely wondered

"Hyunggggg! You know it's not that! I was just asking because it's late, and we got a busy schedule tomorrow."

Yuta laughed at his dongsaeng "Fine, since you want to leave so bad, hurry up and finish your food. Then we can leave."

Sicheng pouted, but he didn't say anything more. That's how he's usually like, Yuta often observed. After they debuted in NCT 127, Sicheng's Korean improved fast, and even though he was more confident now - savage more to say - he was still soft spoken, unlike Yuta.

Back at the dorm, the older boy wondered if he would sleep with his dongsaeng tonight, something he often perfered to do when he felt lonely - when he was missing a certain someone he knew he would probably never see again. Though, he didn't have a chance to ask, because the younger was already marching to his own room before Yuta zoned back in to notice

So Yuta plopped down onto his own bed, after changing, and turned off all the lights. On these paticular nights, when Sicheng wasn't by his side to rid him of his thoughts, he thought of her. He didn't understand why he still thought of that person, but he did. Maybe it was the fact that they were together since Yuta could remember, or maybe it was the fact that she broke his heart way beyond repair, that he no longer believed in love, but he still thought of her

Whatever it was, he knew that being with the Chinese dancer always took away these poisonous thoughts from his head, and instead filled it with peaceful dreams that would always comfort him.

And Yuta knew, he needed that. He needed to be around Sicheng, but he didn't understand that..... yet.

So this is my first chapter, and I know it's short, but this is somewhat of an introduction. Also, I'm new to writing, so please go easy on me :p Hope you enjoy!
