Flashback

Nayeon was sitting in their dark dance practice room. She’s alone and she’s crying. She was getting tired of all this. She’s already been a trainee for few years but she haven’t debut yet. She was starting to lose hope.

“Excuse me…” a voice interrupted and the door opened “Oh? There’s someone here. Annyeong.” the person said as she approached Nayeon

 

It’s weird, I didn’t imagine at first

Just like a sugar rush, you slowly approached me

 

“Excuse me. Are you okay?” the person asked “Woah! Are you crying? I’m so sorry…”

“Why are…you…sorry?” Nayeon asked between her sobs

“Uhh…I think I intrude your space. I really don’t mean it. I was just going to retrieve something I left here.” the girl explained

“It’s fine.”

“Alright…” the girl walked towards a table and got something then walked back to where Nayeon is sitting and sat beside her. She handed Nayeon something…it was a face towel “Wipe your tears. You look more beautiful if you’re smiling.”

“How’d you know? You don’t even know me.”

“Im Nayeon, one of the most talented trainee I know. I really wondered why you haven’t debut yet. You’re amazing…”

“Don’t lie.”

“I’m not lying, you know.”

Nayeon got the face towel and wiped her face.

“I’m getting tired…”

“Hmm…”

“I think…I want to quit.”

“Don’t…If you’re tired, rest…But do not quit.”

Nayeon chuckled at the girl’s deep phrase.

“You look more beautiful if you’re like that…” the girl said as she smile to Nayeon

“I told you not to lie.”

“And I told you too that I’m not lying…”

 

And knocked on the doors of my tired heart

 

“What’s your name?”

“Yoo Jeongyeon. Nice to meet you.” Jeongyeon said and handed her hand to Nayeon

Nayeon got it and shook it “Nice to meet you too.”

After a few days, the two of them became close. Nayeon usually wouldn’t hang out with anyone except for Jihyo but nowadays, she’s been hanging out with Jeongyeon.

“Hey, Nayeon unnie.”

“Oh, Park Jihyo. Hey…”

“Where’s that boyish friend of yours?”

“Jeongyeon? She was called.”

“Oh…I see.”

“Why?”

“…Nothing. By the way, you two are so close. Even though only a few days passed that you two got to know each other.”

“She’s lame but somehow, I found it funny. She’s hard-working, good at giving advice and she’s always there for me…Yeah…she’s a good friend.” Nayeon said as she thought of Jeongyeon

“You sound like a teenager that’s inlove. Brrr…” Jihyo teased

“What do you mean inlove?”

“You’re cheeks are red and you’re smiling.”

 

My cheeks get red and I only smile

The love’s already begun

 

Suddenly, someone sat in there table.

“Hey…”

“Jeongyeon, hey.” Nayeon greeted

“Annyeong, Jeongyeon unnie.” Jihyo greeted and stood up “I’ll leave now. See you later.”

When Jihyo left, Jeongyeon immediately faced Nayeon and pouted.

“Is she allergic to me?”

Nayeon chuckled and patted Jeongyeon’s head “Nope. She’s just busy.”

“I see…Anyways, have you already ate?”

“Not yet. Why?”

“Let’s go. I’ll treat you.”

Jeongyeon faked a gasp as she backed away a little to have an effect “How mean, Im Nayeon. I do have some money here.”

“You’re acting is lousy.”

“You’re really mean, aren’t you?”

Jeongyeon stood up and so did Nayeon. They started walking and Nayeon realized that she has grown fond of the boyish friend of hers.

Jeongyeon immediately glanced at Nayeon and saw that she was serious.

“I’m still curious why you don’t want me to leave you.”

“It’s because I can’t live without you.”

“Why did you say that?”
