Eye Eye Eyes (DubChaeng)

 

“Chaeyoung, JYP-nim is looking for you.” their manager said

“Me?”

“Yup. He’s in his office. Go to him.”

“O-Oh.”

Chaeyoung excused herself to Jihyo and went to JYP’s office. She knocked on the door and opened it when she heard him said ‘Come in’.

“Excuse me, PD-nim. Manager said that you’re looking for me?”

“Oh, yeah. Son Chaeyoung…have a seat.”

Chaeyoung entered and seated infront of him.

“I would like you to write a song to add in your upcoming comeback album.”

“In the ‘Signal’ album, sir?”

“Yes.”

“Uhh…”

“I believe that you have this amazing skill in composing. You proved it in the rap on ‘Precious Love’, if I’m right.”

“Ah, yes. Thank you.”

“So…will you do it?”

“Uhmm…yes, sir.”

“Alright. That’s great. Try to ask Jihyo for help. Her 10-year experience is something.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Thank you, Chaeyoung.”

“No problem, sir.”

Chaeyoung stood up and bow to their PD-nim before leaving her office. She walked back to their practice and told Jihyo about it. Jihyo agreed to help her but she wants Chaeyoung to be the main lyricist.

“Why me?” Chaeyoung asked “You’re more experienced than I am.”

“Because…’Signal’ is about sending your love. I don’t have someone to love.”

“Yeah? So, your point is?...”

“My point is…it’s time for you to send your love to her.”

“Her?”

“Dahyunnie.”

“You knew?”

“Yup.” Jihyo answered as she smiled “So, what do you think?”

“I…I don’t know.”

“Alright. I’ll give you a title and you do a lyrics about that…”

“What is it?”

“Eye Eye Eyes. Do something with that, okay?”

“W-What?”

“You can do it. Anyways, let’s get back to our dance practice.”

“Y-Yeah…”

They returned back to practicing their choreo in their title track ‘Signal’. After a few hours of practice, they went back to their dorm. Chaeyoung grab her notebook and pen as she seated in their study table.

‘What should I write first?’

Chaeyoung wrote some lyrics but it didn’t worked out so she throw it away. It was already her 15th paper when Dahyun came in. Chaeyoung turned around and watched as Dahyun walked towards her.

“It’s dinner time, little tiger.”

“O-Oh…”

“Come on.”

“Uhmm…I’ll follow, unnie. I’m just going to write something.”

“Alright. Don’t be too long, okay?”

“Okay. “

Dahyun went out of the room while Chaeyoung wrote a few lines.

Jihyo came in after a few minutes Dahyun left.

“How is it?”

“I…uhh…wrote a few lines.”

“Let me see.”

Jihyo read the lines and smiled.

“Great. Do the next lines like what you did just now, okay? You’ll get it.”

“Okay. Thanks, unnie.”

“No problem. Now, come on. They’re already hungry.”

“Yes, unnie.”

After dinner, Chaeyoung decided to leave the rest tomorrow. The next day came and Chaeyoung went out of the maknae’s room early. She seated in the living room together with her paper and pen.

The rest of the members wake up one by one and went out of their room. The door of the maknae room opened and the last one to went out is Dahyun since she’s a heavy sleeper. Dahyun walked towards the living room and saw Chaeyoung there.

Dahyun smiled at her and wave as she slowly walked towards Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung decided to write it in her notebook.

Suddenly, the door to the room of Nayeon and the others opened. Sana came out and saw Dahyun.

“Duburi, good morning.”

“Oh. Good morning, Sana unnie.”

“Good morning to you too, Chaeyoung.”

“Yeah…”

Another interruption came from the kitchen, it was a shout saying that it was time for breakfast.

“Come on, Duburi. Let’s head to the kitchen.”

“Oh.”

Dahyun wrapped her hands on Sana as they head to the kitchen. Chaeyoung sighed and decided to write it again on her notebook.

‘Guess I’ll be the one to sing or rap this so they’ll feel that this part is real based on my experience.’

Chaeyoung decided to add something before closing the notebook.

Chaeyoung also head to the kitchen and seated beside Tzuyu. She puts her notebook and pen on the table and looked infront of her. It was Dahyun. She was staring at the girl and suddenly, Dahyun looked up and caught Chaeyoung staring.

‘D-Damn…’

Instead of saying something, Dahyun just continued to stare at her too. Chaeyoung decided to looked at the omelet in front of Dahyun and faked a cough.

“U-Uhh, Dahyun unnie. Can you please hand me the omelet?”

“Hmm…oh, sure.”

Dahyun get the omelet and handed it to Chaeyoung then smiled. Chaeyoung smiled back and grab her notebook to write something again.

They started eating their breakfast and Chaeyoung noticed that Dahyun keeps glancing at her but when she glanced at Dahyun, she would look away.

‘Weird…’

“Chaeyoungie, can you pass me another chopsticks. I dropped mine.” Dahyun said suddenly

“Wait…” Chaeyoung grab a chopstick and handed it to Dahyun “Here you go, unnie.”

Dahyun gently grab the chopsticks in Chaeyoung’s hand and smiled “Thanks, Chaeng.”

“O-Oh…” ‘Her skin is so smooth…’ Chaeyoung thought

She heard a small chuckled beside her and saw that it was Jihyo.

“W-What’s wrong, unnie?”

“Nothing. I’m just thinking that…why don’t you write that one?”

“The…what?”

“That thing that happened just now.”

“I-I…don’t know what to write.”

“Give the notebook to me.”

Chaeyoung handed the notebook to Jihyo and she started writing something on it. After a while, she handed it back to Chaeyoung.

“Read it.”

Chaeyoung nodded and read what was written on it.
