Chapter 1

Life is an undiscovered galaxy, millions of stars waiting to meet you, friends out there you've never met, new cultures, new beginnings, new life. Life itself it’s amazing yet us humans take it for granted don’t we ?

“ How’s Jessica ? “ Yoona asked .

“ Over the moon” , Chang Wook replied as he walked around behind his desk . He smiled with the memory , “ I’ve never seen someone light up the way she did when she held her daughter for the first time .  It was beautiful . “

“ You were there ? “

“Yeah , Sica asked me to be there just in case there were any … complications . “

“ How’s Taeyeon ? “

Chang Wook started checking his messages his assistant had left him , “ Okay I guess . Sica tried to talk to her but her parents were there so she had no chance . “

“ What about the birth certificate ? “ Yoona asked , always in lawyer mode . Despite the judge's ruling in Jessica’s favour to allow her to co parent their daughter , Yoona knew how important it was that their client’s name was included on the birth certificate .

“ The pre- birth order was in place and Taeyeon didn’t try and contest it . Only Jessica’s name was listed . “

“ Really ? I guess Taeyeon’s going through with it , huh ? “

“ Yep and she’s going back to South Korea in couple days . She’s an idol at the end of the day . “

“ I suppose Jessica got everything what she wanted then , “ replied Yoona .

Chang Wook looked up , “ Not quite , she’s still pretty upset about Taeyeon leaving and even after everything that has  happened I think Jess was still hoping that Taeyeon would change her mind after Sinb was born . I can tell that Jess still wants to be with Taeyeon yet Taeyeon chose her career over her and the baby . “

“ At least Jessica  got the baby though . “

“ Yeah .”

“ But how do you feel though ? “ she asked him , wondering how he felt about all of this . “ The child is yours still . “

“ I was only a donor . “

“You’re the child’s father and Jessica’s ex  . “

“ You like her don’t you , “ Jessica said as she fed the three month old , Sinb , her bottle .

“ Yoona is alright  , “ he replied back , finishing off the last egg roll from their evening meal .

“ You had with her ? “

“ Occasionally .”

“ You’re not seeing anyone else …  why not have an relationship with her ? “

“ You and your questions , “ rolling his eyes , “ She probably  doesn’t want to date me and I’m not exactly her idea of a boyfriend and besides I have a sneaky suspicion she’s still hung up on her ex . “

“ How do you know ? “ she asks him , thinking that he’s over thinking things . He’s always like this .

“ Male intuition ? “

“ There’s no such thing . “

“ If she wants to keep it casual I’m down with that Sica “

“ How can you be okay with that ? “

“ Let’s see , with an incredibly hot woman without any strings attached ? I’m just a selfless human being I guess . “

Jessica shook her head at her best friend , “ Wookie , you should be enjoying yourself. It’s Friday night and look at you . Sitting here on my living room floor eating cold take out food . “

“ So ? “ he questioned her like it was nothing wrong with that .

“ Well you’re not really meeting anyone else . Why limit your social life ? You can’t limit it to just Sinb and I , “ Jessica sighs at how stupid her best friend is .

He shrugged his shoulders not caring that he’s wasting his social life on Sinb and Jessica they mean the world to him and he would do anything for them , “ That’s so overrated Sica . Unless … this is  your way of stopping me coming over ! “

She laughed at him , “ You are truly stupid . You know  that I love having you here but I don’t want you to miss out on anything just because you don’t want me to be stuck at home alone with a baby . It’s sweet but unnecess
