Short Fiction for Dahyun
Sana was mad. Well, not mad exactly, but she was sulking. Well, no not exactly sulking either. Sana was something though, but Dahyun couldn’t figure out what. Strange. Distant. Quiet. Yes, she was definitely quiet. Days and days of quiet had gone by, and Sana was yet to make mention of anything.
Dahyun was starting to get worried. She had tried almost everything, from offering Sana her beloved ramen noodles, to giving her the last of her favourite chocolates. She’d even accompanied Sana shopping for hours, honestly hours that could have been spent sleeping. Her efforts were to no avail though Sana was still… quiet. Dahyun wished that Sana would just tell her what was wrong.
“Sana,” said Dahyun, nervously fidgeting with her fingers.
“Mmmm.”
“It’s so cold, my lips feel numb. I think you should kiss me,” Sana said pouting her lips half joking, half serious. Sana was honestly already anticipating the predictable refusal that would follow.
Dahyun grumbled, lightly smacking Sana’s arm out of habit.
“What’s new,” Sana sighed shifting slightly away.
As her words registered Dahyun paused, leant over and pressed her lips to Sana’s. But it wasn’t like their usual pecks. Dahyun didn’t pull away, her lips brushed back and forth across Sana’s, teasing something more. Slender fingers cupped Sana’s jaw, tilting her face the other way. Hot breath coming fa
