Description

Taehyung finds Jungkook's diary, which may or may not contain words about how Jungkook loves him.

Foreword

"Give it back!" Jungkook said, laughing as he ran after his friend Taehyung. Taehyung was about two years older than him, but you would never know it, because he was about the same height, and acted like a certified child. In fact, Jungkook was more mature than HIM at certain times.

"You'll have to get it from me!" Taehyung said, waving the journal in front of his face, sticking his long, pink tongue out.

"Uggghhhh!" Junkgook groaned, knowing that Tae was much faster than him, and that his friend was using that talent against him on purpose.

Despite Taehyung having his journal on hand, Jungkook wasn't upset about it. He wasn't upset about the fact that he tended to take stuff from his dorm room constantly, or even that he took money from his wallet a lot, without asking. Normally, they had am un-breakable, giant bond with each other, with an even bigger level of trust. However, this time was much, much different.

Jungkook had an extreamely good reason for not wanting Taehyung to read that Journal. They had known each other for around 4 years, and within the 1st year, Jungkook had fallen hoplessly in love with his best friend. He kept silent about it at first, because his uality was not looked kindly apon where he lived. After a while, however, he figured that he could tell one person. This person was the leader of the band that he and Taehyung had been in for 3 years, called BTS. His name was Nam joon, although most just called him by his nickname, Rap monster, or Rapmon at times. He was always a father-figure to Jungkook, because he had always loked up to him, and admired him. He told Nam joon around a year after he fell for Taehyung, and as always, his leader was kind and sympathetic about it.

Before, he had to worry about random fans or other members finding out his secret. Now, he had to worry about the person he had a crush on, finding out, and he wasn't sure how he would take it if he did.

Suddenly, Taehyung spun around, and froze in his tracks, his face un-readable. Had he read it? Then, he grinned, and held the book high over his face, where Jungkook wouldn't be able to take it, and opened it. Jungkook's heart dropped.

Jungkook held his breath, praying that he didn't read it, while his heart pounded and sweat started to cover his hands. Luckily, Taehyung was only pretending to read it. He would never actually read his friend's diary, or anyone's for that matter. Jungkook, however, didn't know that. Taehyung closed the book and gave it back to him.

"Ok, so I know what you saw was bad, but I can explain!"

"Explain what?"

"The part where it said I had feelings for- wait, you didn't read it, did you?" "No! that's like a major trust breaker. And... Feelings for who?"

Uh-oh...

Jungkook thought, his brain scrambling to find the right words to say. Taeyhyung always had this bright, airy look on his face, but the look on his face right now was serious, and scared. He didn't think lying would help, or be a good idea, so he decided to tell him.

"Taehyung, I... have to tell you something." Jungkook managed.

"What? If its about you threatening to quit BTS because I stuck your favorite hand-wash leather Jacket in the dryer, I said I was sorry for that, kookie." Taehyung said seriously, unaware of the situation.

"No, it's not about that. I really wish that it was though..."

"Ok, then what is it?" Taehyung was confused, and stared at Jungkook oddly.

I'm... TaeTae, I'm in. I'm in love,"

"With who? You were kidding when you said you were in love with your goldfish, right? That would be weird,"

"No!" He said, laughing a little.

"Then who?"

"You,"

Taehyung paused, and said nothing.

"T-taehyung?" Jungkook stammered, struggling to keep his posture, his breath ragged.

"Please, answer me..."

However, instead of responding, Taehyung just stood there, his eyebrows highly arched.

"W-what?" He finally said, slowly, clearly having trouble dealing with the fact that his best friend had fallen in love with him.

"Are you ok?" Jungkook said, scared out of his mind.

"Yea, yea, I'm just..." He breathed in deeply, and then crossed his arms.

"Surprised, that's all."

"I know, and I understand if you don't want to talk to me anymore. I'll understand,"

Jungkook turned around, and started to leave, when suddenly, he felt a warm hand on his shoulder.

"Wait," Taehyung said forcefully, gripping onto Jungkook's clothing.

Jungkook froze in his tracks, turning around to face him, preparing for the worst.

"Yes?" Taehyung looked at him in the eyes, not breaking eye contact as he spoke.

"I never said that I didn't love you back," He said, as he laced his arms around Jungkook, adn his face slowly came closer to Jungkook's face.

Jungkook's blood boiled, and he struggled to breath. Then, his nervousness caused him to clamp his eyes shut, refusing to open. The next thing he knew, he felt a war sensation on his mouth. He felt warm lips hugging his, clearly testing how far they were allowed to go.

Jungkook opened his eyes, to make sure of what was happening. It was; Taehyung had took himself and dived right into his heart. Jungkook hesitantly broke the kiss they were in, and stared, before speaking again.

"How long?" He asked, staring at Taehyung in the eyes, hoping for an answer, as the reality set in of why he would kiss him.

"3 and a half years..."

"What? Really? That's, I've loved you for 3!" Jungkook half-screamed, making Taehyung laugh.

Taehyung had loved him longer than Jungkook had.

That's interesting that you would place the story in the foreword and not actually write it out in a chapter.
