It has been a fortnight since the prince gave the princess a proper tour of the city, she paid her respects to the crypts in the sept and like how she so desired she visited the orphanage which she found a couple of streets away from the sept.

The prince has been meeting the princess every day in the main gardens and right after he meets with Lady Yoona, Chaerin was not very fond of those walks but she refused to voice anything.

"Tomorrow I need you to sit with me during the events and I need you to be present when I am being crowned" he spoke as she stood next to him but her eyes lost in the sea

"Of course my prince, I did not see it any other way" she answered not looking at him

"My parents think it wise of us to wed in a full moon" he speaks now waiting for her reaction

She blinks in surprise "a full moon my prince?"

"Yes, we can get married tomorrow if that pleases you" he says almost nonchalantly

She knew princes do not get excited about marriage but the sound in his voice made her think that he could not care less, he sounded indifferent and a bit annoyed.

"No my prince, I need my family by my side.. a full moon it shall be" she agrees

"A full moon" he says while his eyes divert to the entrance of the main garden and he could see the lady of his affection, Lady Yoona.

Chaerin narrowed her eyes on him while he looked directly at Lady Yoona, she noticed as a smile broke on his lips.

"She's jealous" he whispered in a low soft voice but Chaerin could still hear him

"Can I asks you something?" Chaerin voices and ignores his earlier confession as if she had not heard him

"Yes my princess?" His eyes never breaking apart from the princess standing at the beginning of the garden

She hesitated a bit then she opened her lips and the words she has been meaning to voice since a while, came out "why are your eyes red?" She asks keeping her eyes on him

His cold eyes then looked at her almost with hatred, he was mad with her question.

She ran her tongue on her bottom lip then she bit it nervously before she spoke once again "pardon my inappropriate question my prince, it is just that I have never seen red eyes prior to you" she says nervously as his face still showed his anger.

He looked at her lips, she kept bitting her bottom lip in a nervous way.

He shook his head "Everyone has different eye colors princess, yours are different than mine.. Princess Yoona's are different than yours"

"Red is such an unusual color and I was rather surprised by it" Chaerin admits openly

"There are some things that should be left unspoken princess"

"Are the rumors true?" She asks curiously again forgetting all formalities

"I would never say"

She bites her lip and looks towards Lady Yoona "why is she jealous?" Chaerin asks

"I can feel her emotions" he spoke out loud, he did not mean for her to listen.

"You can feel her emotions?" Chaerin questions as if she had not heard him correctly

He nods his head

"How?" She asks curiously

He sighs "I can not speak of everything, maybe one day I will tell you.. you were not supposed to hear what I just said but if you must know I have a connection with her and I can slightly feel her emotions"

"Only hers?"

He nods "yes, only hers.. I can slightly feel what she is feeling, how she smells when she's close"

Chaerin only narrowed her eyes in confusion "you have a bond with her" she speaks confidently

"I do" he admits

"Why shall we be wed then? It should be her in my place" Chaerin says without thinking and uncensored

He chuckles "I like how you speak your mind without fear of the repercussions" he admits

"Forgive me my prince, I am always getting in trouble for being-"

"Outspoken? Witty?"

She smiles "I know it is not the costume here in kings landing and I do sincerely apologize"

"One cannot apologize for being one's self.. plus I like that you voice your thoughts"

She nods "are you going to answer then? Why is she not the one being wed to you if you share a bond with her?" She asks again

"The betrothal cannot be broken, we shall be wed in one full moon"

"It is all nonsense" she says again informally "you are the prince! Future King, you can do as you please" she argues

"Not all the times princess, there are rules to follow" he says raising one eyebrow eager to heard her response

"The rules do not apply to you, you can bend and make the rules"

He smiles amused, she was passionately arguing without a care of formalities "what shall happen to you if we break the proposal?"

She gives him a mischievous smile "I am a princess, I too have proposals" she says while thinking of the king of Scorpius

His smile faded "what proposals?" He asks serious while keeping his eyes close on her, her smile widen and her eyes sparkled.

"A princess shall never speak of that" she then meets his eyes that are no longer warm but cold instead, her smile disappeared and she looked back towards Yoona trying to avoid his eyes.

He stood up and took a hold of her wrist "speak"

She winced as she felt his strong grip on her wrist, his eyes darken and she gasped at the pain.

"Speak" his voice menacing and cold

"No one" she lied "I have no proposals but I know it would not be hard getting one"

He let go of her hand and his eyes soften at her hurt face, she rubbed her wrist with her other hand and her eyes turned cold once they met his "I shall leave you to your walks with Lady Yoona"

He did not say anything as she left as he felt a strong emotion of jealousy rush thought his chest, his eyes went to Yoona and he knew she was jealous and hurt.

Her scent invaded his system and waited for her to walk closer to him, once she did the scent wasn't as strong. It always happened, when she was far away it was oh so intoxicating, mouth watering and addicting but once she was close it lessen to a settle hint of it.

"I do not understand why I have to marry Princess Chaerin when I know Princess Yoona is my mate" he says irritated towards his father and the current king

"If she was your mate indeed then you would of not be so controlled, your instincts of protecting her, possessing her, the jealousy of others merely laying their eyes on her would of driven you to hide her away" his father reasoned "she is not your mate" he added

Jiyong growled displeased "I can feel her emotions, I can feel what she feels"

His father rose one eyebrow "you can?"

Jiyong nods "when she is far away I can smell her, it's intoxicating and addictive but when she is close it fades only leaving a hint behind" he speaks annoyed

"Perhaps a bite will help" his father encouraged

His lips formed in to a smirk

"but we cannot break the proposal until you are sure she is the one"

"I shall know after the coronation"

His father nods understanding

Chaerin dismissed all her hand maidens and told septa to stay behind, she paced around her room in desperation and nervousness.

"I have made a mistake" she finally spoke releasing a breath she did not know she was holding in.

"I spoke- I suggested to the prince that maybe he should wed Lady Yoona" she say
