It has been 3 night falls since the ball, she has had a wonderful experience touring the castle with Seungri. She has learn to appreciate the young prince, she also enjoyed his company very much.

"Milady, his grace would like to see you" her new maid Sooyoung announces

Chaerin whom was too busy brushing her hair, sets the brush down "his grace the king?" She asks her handmaiden

"His grace the prince Jiyong milady"

She was quite surprised to heard that "where is his grace?" Her voice hinting at her surprise

"Just outside your quarters, in the main garden milady" Sooyoung responds

Chaerin nods understanding then she looks at herself once more in the mirror, she stood up and began walking towards the door.

Her septa began walking right behind her as the princess made her way towards the prince, once she was near him she noticed him turn to look at her. She vowed instantly showing her respect "my prince"

"My lady.. I've come to keep you some company, perhaps a walk on the garden?" He asks her trying to be formal, his coronation is soon and he is trying to do his duty as his father has requested him, closeness with the princess.

"I would be joyous to accompany you in your walk my prince" she says looking at him but not meeting his eyes, she did not felt joyous and she could feel his indifference.

He began walking and Chaerin followed "how was your tour of the castle?"

She smiled widely remembering her rather pleasant morning with the younger prince "it was extraordinary, his grace prince Seungri is a really good guide, he showed me the entire castle except for the Dragon pit" she admitted

"Have you seen a dragon?"

He notices as her eyes sparkle and her smile grew even wider "I have, it was black with red details I- he was mesmerizing.." she says admiringly

"That was your first time seeing one?"

She shakes her head "I have once seen a similar one closer to my home, I was in the gardens of my home when I saw it" she admits

He smiled "the dragon you described is mine, his name is Drago he is a loyal pet"

Her eyes widen in almost shock and he noticed "a pet?"

He smirked "a pet, unusual but it is"

"Is he friendly?" She asks curious and her eyes twinkle with excitement

He shook his head "no, he does not like anyone except me"

She kept walking beside him and a crease formed in between her eyebrows "has he ever-?"

"Eaten someone? Yes, one of his feeders" he says nonchalantly as his eyes stayed on her face

He saw as her face went pale and her eyes were laced with fear, he smirked then he saw her jump at the sound of his laughter "no, he has not eaten anyone" he clarified

She placed a hand on her chest "do not frighten me like that my price, I was petrified" she says in a much lighter tone

He smiled at the sound of her voice, it was somehow soothing "please forgive me my princess"

She kept walking beside him "all is forgiven as long as you promise not to frighten me like that anymore my prince" she finished with a smile

His eyes were locked on her face, it had gone from frighten to soft in less than a second "I vow to never frighten you" he says, he found himself enjoying her company

"thank you your grace" she says as they reach the end of the garden

"Did my brother showed you the secret garden?" He asks her curious

Chaerin looked back at her septa "please stay here septa HyunSo" she tells her septa then she began walking down the steps with Jiyong following her steps.

"He did not my prince but I found it on my second day here" she admits and kept walking down the steps to reach the hidden garden

He liked the fact that with everything spoken word she began talking to him less formally, he watched as she walked down the steps and all too eagerly walked towards the rail that has a beautiful view of the sea "you like the sea?" He asked as he noticed how her eyes began to twinkle again

"It is my favorite" she admits then she looks at him "what does his grace likes?" Her brown eyes fixed on him alone waiting for his answer

"I like the sea as well" he responds quick "the forest just outside the castle and the city are my favorite" he adds without realizing that he told her what he has not shared with anyone else, he saw as she nods understanding and then a smile appeared on her face once again.

"Can you introduce me to your dragon?" She asks as her eyes were locked in his, he felt something triggering inside of him. It started when those words left her plump lips, her eyes then grew wider "I am sorry your grace, I know that is far too impossible and much inappropriate of me for asking" she adds

He liked the fact that she spoke freely and words left before she could think of them, he was not used to highborn ladies speaking so freely.

"That would be too dangerous princess" he admits "unless you want to get eaten.." he says then feral thoughts crossed his mind.

She shook her head "I would like to live a full life my prince" she admits sheepishly avoiding his eyes.

His lips once again broke into a smile at her actions, he then somehow felt annoyed. He noticed the way she turned her attention to admired the sea and the sky, it looked as if she was deep in thought.

"What are you thinking?" He demanded, his voice a bit harsh.
