The next morning, Nayeon woke up to find that it was already eight. Mark’s flight had left two hours ago and she couldn’t help but feel a little upset at the fact that he really left without saying anything to her. Wiping the frown off her face, she washed up and got dressed before heading towards the dining room based on memory. To her surprise, Sana was already eating at the table.

“Good Morning Nayeon!” the other girl greeted as her hands were busy cutting into her bacon and eggs. “Come have some breakfast, Dahyunnie and I made enough for the three of us.”

Nayeon sat down after thanking the other girl in the kitchen and began to just randomly chat with the only other person present. Her eyes couldn’t help but scan the empty dining room as she remembered how full it had been less than twenty-four hours ago. She was ripped from her train of thought however when she heard Sana bring up the one name that she didn’t want to hear.

“If you’re wondering about where Tzuyu is, that girl never wakes up to eat breakfast.”

She then goes on a long rant about how she has been nagging Tzuyu about it ever since they started living on campus overseas but she never listened to her. Meanwhile Nayeon was busy finishing her breakfast which was just the classic bacon, eggs and toast. As much as she liked Sana she just couldn’t bring herself to like the girl’s best friend since everything that she’s done so far wasn’t exactly making her seem anymore likeable.

If Nayeon felt bad before eating then she only felt worse after. At Sana’s insistence, Nayeon was forced to leave the dishes with Dahyun and the Japanese girl while she had free time to herself. That wasn’t what annoyed her however. Instead she had been told by Sana that she’ll be spending her day alone since the other two girls at breakfast were in charge of running errands and will be out of the house or busy most of the time. They had flat out rejected her help despite her repeated insistence as they kept telling her that this was their job and not hers.

This of course meant that Nayeon was stuck at home with none other than the rude brat that was named Tzuyu. Since she would rather be alone forever than stay in the same room as the younger girl, Nayeon began walking around the mansion as if she were going on a little exploration.

The repetition of corridors and doors however quickly led to Nayeon getting lost as she went down five corridors that pretty much looked exactly the same. She had been wandering amongst the forest green walls for quite a while now and a certain feeling told her that it was almost time for lunch. The feeling was actually quite real as Nayeon heard her stomach growl from using up all the energy she got from breakfast. Desperate to find her way back to her room, she began to open any door that was before her.

Storage closet, nope. Guest room, nope. Toilet, nope. Another storage closet. Just how many rooms were in this place?! She was close to giving up when she noticed a distinctly different set of double doors. Nayeon was about to turn the knob when the door opened in her face, revealing a rather annoyed looking Tzuyu. At that moment to Nayeon, she seemed to have a holy aura around her as she was the first human being she saw for the past four hours.

“Could you please avoid turning my part of the mansion upside down?” the tall girl ran a hand through her long brown locks and gave Nayeon an unimpressed look. The aura that she saw around her disappeared on the spot and just to make her narrow her eyes at the older girl more, Nayeon’s stomach suddenly growled again. “Wonderful.”

Tzuyu let out a sigh after her sarcastic remark and dropped the book she was reading onto her desk before grabbing Nayeon’s hand and pulling her to god knows where. The shorter girl struggled a bit to break free but Tzuyu kept a strong grip on her which prevented her from running away, but she didn’t exactly hurt her. Finally as a last resort, Nayeon kicked her in the shins and finally got the freedom that she had wanted.

“Ow!” the younger girl was now rubbing at her shin while Nayeon stood over her looking ever so triumphant.

“Serves you right for trying to kidnap me!” Nayeon stuck her tongue out childishly as Tzuyu straightened up from her position.

“For your information, I was trying to bring you to the kitchen.” She gestured to the sign behind her which apparently said ‘kitchen’ in a language that Nayeon thinks was Chinese. The older girl blushed from her embarrassing accusation but the flush quickly toned down when Tzuyu opened again. “Besides, you’re older than me so if anyone was being kidnapped it would be me.”

Nayeon took a seat in the dining area with a huff as she watched Tzuyu fix up a quick lunch consisting of some small sandwiches and a salad for the two. She also managed to make some ice tea to go with the meal too. For once Nayeon did not feel anything negative towards the girl, in fact she was rather impressed. She had expected Tzuyu to be the type of spoilt rich kid who couldn’t do anything by herself and relied heavily on others.
