Description

Upon their 18th birthday, everyone develops a musical bridge with their soulmate. Whenever someone plays an instrument, their soulmate feels compelled to do the same.

In the past month, Yixing has learnt three instruments and he wishes he could tell his soulmate to chill with the musical practice a little.

Foreword

Ahh, I finally finished this!!

It took me way longer to edit and reform the story than I had anticipated but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

It's inspired by a couple of different things... This clip from showtime of them playing together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv7g8VM9UOw and this gif Image result for chanyeol and yixing because they both looked so good in this era, it's not fair. Also, the AU screamed ChanXing so badly so I had to do it XD

Let me know if you guys want a sequel or want this to be a mini-series with other exo pairings in this universe. I've got possible fluffiness for SeKai and KrisHo as well so feel free to request whatever. I'm a bit of a er for this AU :3

It's rated PG-13. There's a few curses in there but that's about it for 'mature' content.

I'm not lying, I spent literally the whole reading smiling like an idiot hahaha this was so cute and fluffly, and Chanxing is THE ship. I mean, I live for Hunlay and Sulay most of the time, but the truth is that I ship Yixing with almost everything, or... well, everyone haha so Chanxing is definitely my thing, too. Chapter 1: This was so cute!! I love love love chanxing and your story was lovely! I love the fact that you made them musically compatible because it's so true in real life too. And clueless chanyeol is quite charming despite him initially ignoring the buzzing feelings that yixing was so conscious to.
